Clean the trucks before you rent them out and put more than a quarter tank of gas in the truck.Erin B.
Very concerned. I used my card when I picked up the truck. They charged it for about 165 $then when I brought it back the actual cost was around 88 $. Both amounts were charged still waiting for the 165 $to be refunded.Christine C.

I didn't catch the name of the guy who helped me... he was working alone and had a lot to do. He was very friendly and helpful and made for a pleasant experience. One criticism about the UHaul app: It's fine for reserving equipment, but all the other steps a customer goes through to actually rent the equipment must be repeated at the store, including a photo of the driver license. We were inaccurately charged for an extra day. Our return was marked as 10:13am on 9/19/21 when we returned the truck at 8am. If I hadn't caught the charge and spent an hour on hold to dispute it, you would have fraudulently profited 57,50 $, which is not an insignificant amount of money. Luckily, Alex on the phone was pleasant, helpful, and competent, and able to resolve the issue quickly. It is unfortunate when a business as established as UHaul is careless with charges like this. Your customers aren't always people who can afford an extra and unwarranted 60 $expense. It is a redeeming factor that the people we spoke to throughout the whole process were good at their jobs, communicative, and kind.MATTHEW M.

1. upon arrival I received a call ( real person) asking if I wanted to cancel my reservation. 2. the app to document all existing vehicle problems would not load. 3. The fuel gage was not accurate. I drove 30 miles and added 2,3 gallons. This should have sufficed, but the clerk tried to charge me for fuel. The gauge did not reflect the extra fuel I added. Thank goodness I was able to show the clerk the before and after gauge images and the receipt for fuel. He accepted the facts. 4. the truck ran rough and was noisy.ANNE F.

The staff was overworked. There were not enough people working. The truck was dirty. It was only a quarter tank of gas. I guess they have gas stolen a lot in that area. Do you think they think of someway to lock the gas tanks.Deborah S.

I reserved a truck in advance, picked it up at 8:00 AM. The first thing we noticed is that the truck was not really clean inside or out, and that the windshield was not clean. As we started loading the truck there was a stench that never left. Adding to this, the air conditioner was not working and we sweated in 95degree heat during this move. There simply was not time to drive back across town to ask for a different truck. Not sure Uhaul is a good solution.Paul K.

They over charged me on mileage, just by two miles but still. Also, for being a 19,99 rental the final price ended up being 54 dollars. That's crazy. I drove 6 miles and only had the truck for an hour and a half.Melissa U.

Make sure when your customer makes a reservation at a location the vehicle will be at that location I like my experience I made in reservation and the vehicle was not at the location where I made my reservation and that was very inconvenient therefore I give Uhaul a bad rating.Darryl H.

The check out process through the UHaul app was a terrible experience. After over 15 min of attempting to use the "quick check out", as advertised on the app, I had to give up and use the website. I was very disappointed.Hana M.

While the vehicle performed as expected I was disappointed in the check out process which revealed that I was not informed to verify that the gas gauge reading in the contract agreed with what I noticed. An unfortunate disagreement with the manager would have been avoided as I would have raised the issue after receiving my contract and noticing the gauge differed. The manager did offer to waive the gas charge but it still made for an uninformed uncomfortable situation.Leslie L.
I got caught in a storm and couldn't return the equipment at the time I agreed to. I called to inform them that I needed to turn it in where I was stranded, they said no and charged me double. They could've helped me save money by taking it to the nearest uhaul dealer turn it in and re rent it when the storm allowed me to travelChristopher H.

Designated parking for customers. Was blocked in by trailer and service rep outside did nothing to help. Had to squeeze way around to get out of parking. Called ahead of time and advised of schedule change and change was not made in system. Had to call customer service to settle dispute, charges and credits.Jaime C.
