I didn’t like that Uhaul overall charges for mileage and gas. Not only did they charge mileage, they didn’t show the charge online when I filled out to the rental paperwork. So I went in there thinking I only had to pay the 30 dollars it showed me.

Most of the employees weren't very nice, including the one that seemed like the manager when I picked up my trailer. However, the one that hooked up my trailer was the only one that was nice and talked to me. On dropping off the trailer, the employee only said do you want a receipt. Nothing else. No thank you, how can I help you, etc. In the future, I will definitely look for another U-Haul location.

I dropped off the auto transport one day and the truck the following day. Both days, the line was out the door and there was only one person working at the counter. On the first day, there was another employee who saw the line but proceeded to go into an office with a closed door instead of assist customers. While the location was clean, it was not inviting due to the line and due to most of the staff being unfriendly. On the second day (when I returned the truck), the computer system was down and the employees did not let customer's know so some waited in line for 30 minutes or more only to be informed that they had waited in line for something that could not be completed. Additionally, I paid for an extra day thinking I might need it depending on travel time. I returned the truck prior to the original due date but was not refunded for the extra day that was not needed. I have used Uhaul 4 times; 3 of those times, I have had great service and would recommend Uhaul to friends and family. This 4th time was horrible and did not help in making my move easier.

The only problem was that it took 1 and half hours to get my reserved rental due to the system crashing.

I had a reservation for pickup of a trailer @ a different location but was told when i got there that the trailer had not been returned so i had to drive 20 miles out of my way in rush hour traffic (about 1.5 hours extra overall since I hit rush hour traffic during when I returned the trailer) to get it at this alternate location. So I asked for a few dollars off the rental and the owner said no. I asked if I could return it to the Charlotte Pike location where I had my original reservation and was told no. The owner told me it was HIS trailer and he wanted it back at HIS location.. take it or leave it (funny how it had a license plate from Washington State on it and HIS location is in Nashville, huh?) . I didn't have a choice since I had made business arrangements and a product shipment due that day. But will i ever recommend or use UHaul again? It will be a cold day in hell.

Uhaul is charging absolutely too much money for these trucks. After everything I spent about $500. That is absolutely ridiculous. I am not satisfied. I’m actually very upset about it. Thieves!

Poor management!! I scheduled to pick up my U-Box but when my local movers came in they were told that the U-BOX was not ready and the store staff said he could not move the U-Box out of storage.
