The left front headlight was out; and the steering had a horrible drift/sway in the linkage. Very loose, All over the road. This could eventually become dangerous. These issues were reported upon return. The A/C also was not up to snuff, needing a charge. It is obvious you don't put much into your local use units.

The truck that I received had a filthy interior which included cigarette ashes in the door handle area, there was an appliance dolly in the truck that I did not ask for.  Luckily, I was only using it in-town for one day.  I called and spoke with the national customer service and they made notations regarding the trucks condition and the dolly.  I also did not receive a receipt for the rental. I would recommend to a "friend" only because this location is the only one in Huntington that I know of.

I rented a 10 ft truck and overall it was fine but I found a loose battery cable when the truck wouldn't start after every time I shut it off. It became a 2 person job to start the truck with me wiggling the cable and someone else turning the key. It wasn't a huge problem, just a bit irritating, but if you're paying to use the equipment it should at least start. If it doesn't then maybe you should cut a guy a break on the price. Another customer could just as easily gotten angry, raised a big stink, and demanded to be brought another truck.

The truck was mostly clean, but there was a used pop bottle inside and the cup area was dirty. I had originally rented for Thursday only but it became apparent that I would need the truck longer so I called and arranged for Friday also. At 10 I received a text asking where the truck was, so I had to call and explain. I had already had a reservation scheduled for Saturday also, so when I called on Friday I asked them to just extend this reservation through Saturday and cancel the other one I had for Saturday which was supposedly done but I received a call on Saturday asking where the truck was! I will say the people who were working on Saturday & Sunday were great.

When you rent someone a truck for 40 dollars don’t make the final bill 240 which includes a 20 dollar fee for someone to do their job and check the truck back in. Worst experience ever with a truck rental company. Enjoy that money. Never a penny more.

I love everything about Uhaul except the online check in. It would not let me take pictures while i was there, and I spent 30 minutes on two phones, and could not get it to work. As we left, I tried again and it finally worked, but we were not turning around.

The right blinker quit working during the trip from MD to WV. I did my usual equipment check at the halfway point and it was not working. I had the attendant at the drop off location help me to troubleshoot the problem. It turns out that it was, indeed, the trailer.

While we were being assisted picking up the truck we reserved, the clerk answered the phone and put the gentleman on speaker phone. He was less than helpful and downright rude to the customer on the phone. The customer was pleasant and asking reasonable questions about renting a truck. My service was fine but his behavior was unnecessary and not representative of good customer service.

Was charged more than $ 100 for damage I know I did not cause. I don’t think the customer should be expected to photograph the entire rental unit to verify condition of unit at time of rental. In addition, my debit card has been charged twice for the damages. I / my family will never use U-Haul again. My son and daughter have also had bad experiences with U-Haul

The first truck that was rented broke down almost 2 miles from pick up location. The uhaul facility had to bring another truck. I already had movers at my storage unit and still had to pay them for time that was lost because of truck braking down. In all I lost $90.00 because of that. Bad experience! I would like to be contacted by a representative. Thank you

Danny (who checked me out when I picked up the truck) was a damn clown. He didn’t acknowledge I was in the store for over 10 minutes because he was on the phone with some woman talking about “student loans”- nothing relevant to business. Then, he got mad and started cussing and throwing a fit when the actual store phone rang. Finally, when the student loan lady had to take care of something else, he hangs up the phone and tries to help me. The truck was filthy and the seal around the door was completely loose. Whatever, at least it ran. Then I came back to the store to rerun my equipment that night, AND NOBODY WAS ANYWHERE TO BE FOUND! It was 5:30PM- nobody was there. So I dropped my keys off, let the uhaul at the return destination and left. Then this morning some woman named “Deb” calls me to ask when I’ll be returning the truck. Like, really? I did that yesterday. Then I call the location to make sure they received it.. the (male) representative said that he did, and that my card will not be charged anymore. BIG SURPRISE, I GOT A $40 CHARGE ON MY BANK STATEMENT!!! This was a horrendous experience. I’ve been robbed, treated like shit, and over-charged. Never again. Never ever again.

I would like to be greeted when I walk into your business. I stood at the counter, 2ft from a worker, for 5 min before she spoke to me. Then as she continued my reservation she had conversation with another employee. She stops working when she talks.

I have NO complaints. The staff was very nice and helpful! Adrian checked me out and Devin took my call later in the day, when I asked about extending my time to keep the rental. The entire staff was awesome and helpful!!

It's not the location. It's the system the app took me over an hour to do the after hour check in and they still charged me a $21 fee because the app didn't let me do the full check in. Then spent an hour trying to get my money back. Also the check engine light was on the entire time

Need to know how to treat customers better. Make sure the vehicles maintenance is taken care of. And get new electronics in side cause they seem to always mess up. Some of the trucks have faulty gas gauges

I was promised a on ed way truck on Wednesday for today. They gave me the wrong truck which I had to return to Huntington and pay a lot extra for fuel. It had slightly above 3/4 but they said,it was full. After the 29.99 fee, I paid well above the 1.00 per mile for the trip. I argued with them for twenty minutes, had to go across the street and put yet another 25.00 gas in th ed truck. It was quite an expensive day for me and I'm struggling on social security. A bad day for me.

I felt every uneasy about the employee taking pictures on hinpersonalncell phone of my license. Both sides. Said it was their policy!! Best not have extra charges or identity theft. Doesnt make sense. I declined insurance and was told a safe fee would be good, no accidents $14 would be returned when brough back in the same shape it left. So wonder who by that? The same man that had my personal business on his personal cell phone!! thus is wrong in ever way possible. I used it approximately 2 hours! Retutnedbit and was $60. Very concerned with the way customers card both front and back are in their personal cell phone. Will be checking onto this because it's very wrong.

The return equipment lane is apparently confusing for some people as someone was upset when I pulled in and said that I “blocked” them in. They were in a car and not returning equipment.

I tried to turn in my rental at the correct time and when I put the mileage into the app ( that I had to download to turn in) it said I drove over 10000 miles in 8 hours and wanted to charge me around 20,000 dollars to turn it in at the time I was supposed to. I haven't been charged yet but I am betting that the 20 dollar fee will be added for not turning it in on time. Other than that it ran fine and was clean.

There are so many hidden fees that no one tells the customer. I was shocked by my total bill. Plus, I spent an extra $46 for a local move. Not that happy with my overall experience.

The check in after hours was HORRIBLE. The website did not allow me to connect, even after following the directions for check in. When calling for help, I was put on hold for over 25 minutes. Calling the 24/7, I was put on hold for close to 30 minutes before I just hung up. Another customer there after I arrived just happened to be able to check theirs in after 30 minutes and I checked mine in on a strangers phone. Not acceptable.
