I called and made specific reservations for Ironton Ohio or Ashland Kentucky. Huntington West Virginia might be geographically close to Ashland but was much farther for me to travel considering where I worked and lived. Terrible service when someone is getting ready to make a long distance move to have to go that far out of their way for a piece of equipment.

I was treated like I was trying to steal the truck, because I needed it for 5-7 days. The people that work at this location didn't care, if I rented from U-Haul or not. Worst experience of my life. I will go to Hertz next time I need a truck for a project!!!

CSR was not very attentive to My needs and barely spoke of the rental. I had to inspect and get my /find My truck the windsheild was cracked. the fuel level wasnt marked I marked it Half when I left and it was on half when it was returned but got charged 9 us $ . I dont know where Customer service went but it sure isnt at 821-050

I had the truck, it was good. But when I went to pick it up, I was told to return by noon the next day. Then I was called and was told to instead have it back by 9am the next day. Which caused me to have to rush my moving process and forced me to stay up all night to move my stuff, when I wouldn't have had to do so if the return time was noon. I will not be using this location again, and I will not be recommending this location to anyone because of this problem. This shouldn't have happened. I should have been told the correct time, so I can make adjustments to the rental time while I was there.

I have used approximately $5000.00 worth of goods and services with U-Haul this past month whether it was the three 26' trucks, the auto hauler, the 2-6x12 trailers I rented, packing supplies, moving help, whatever. I had no issues at any location other than this one. The two people working here are the two worst U-Haul people Ive ever experienced and since this location is just down the street from my home I have used them very frequently. This check-out was horrible and I would definitely never recommend this location to another living breathing soul. This is not the only time the guy running this location has been far far less than professional. I am QUITE offended by this return and I hope to NEVER have to use this location again. The heavy gal that works there wasn't any better. Truly a disgrace to U-haul and to a customer who has rented enough U-Hauls in my lifetime to buy a small country. Horrible Horrible Horrible people here.

Be sure that the inside of the cab is cleaned from mud and dirt. Also be sure the mileage is correct as well as the gas gauge. If I hadn't checked I would have been charged for an additional 32 miles and 1/8 of a tank of gas.

Had reserved an appliance dolly to make it easier moving my things. It was not on the truck and when I ask about was told they didn’t have one available and that I would not be charged for it. I was still charged for it. Maybe in future let someone know if everything that they had ask for and reserved several weeks in advance isnt going to be available.

Well first off people should be notified of a the 100 deposit when using cash or debit card. It was no where on the website or truckshare app We waited 3 hours just trying to rent the truck after I made the reservation at for 6:15. It would also help that agents communicate with each other. Our rental was stressful snd unnecessary. Not really the location itself but the crap customer service on the phone. An agent said hed brief the new customer service agent that he needed to transfer me to but turns out he just booted the call to her without explaining anything I used to be a customer service rep and I know the difference between a warm and cold transfer. Transparency.

Employees were not helpful. It took over an hour to get my truck which had been reserved for over a week at this location. Employees stated that "systems" were down and offered no other option but to go elsewhere for a rental. They turned dozens of people away while I was on my personal phone trying to resolve the issue by myself. Ultimately I was able to use the mobile app to pick up my reserved uhaul but I was at this location for over an hour before driving away. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

At the start of my visit there were no employees in the store to be found for at least 5 minutes the store had no one at the cash register they also failed to tell me when I made my reservation that they couldn’t accept cash I called the 800 number that transferred me to another place that was doing card processing in which I got extremely horrible customer service the person was extremely rude and I will not be using this location again

People at location were really nice and helpful. However the truck I got was muddy on the inside and the passenger side door was missing pieces. In addition the store said they were having system issues so I couldn't buy any tape or boxes or any other moving supplies. None of the system issues were the employee's fault but they could keep the trucks cleaner and better maintained.

Lower Propane Cost. I buy lots of propane but you guys have became the highest price in town. I have been a loyal customer for 10 years but having to buy propane at your competitors because there is such a significant difference in price. it is ridiculously high

My U-Haul was dirty when I received it.. there was dirt and dead leaves theoughout the back storage area.. I swept it anyway because I didn’t want to get hit with the fee.. the employee who checked the U-Haul back in said “sometimes we get busy and forget to look”. How can you have a potential fee for cleaning equipment when the employees don’t even check if it was cleaned prior.. bad service..

I made the reservation online and needed an appliance dolly. when I went to pick it up, they did not have an appliance dolly that I needed. If they told me ahead of time I could of made other arrangements, possibly through another u haul location. However, I was not going to drive around with the uhaul truck to find one and get charged a dollar a mile. the truck was dirty and had garbage in it. the cab of the truck smelled like kitty litter and was so foul that we had to drive with the windows open. When I arrived, the man glanced over the truck, told me to leave it running and that I could go, and then he went back into the store. Curious if this is a means to burn off the gas to charge customers more.

Triangle One Stop in Hinton, WV provided absolutely terrible service. Not only on this occasion but a previous encounter, as well. On the previous encounter, I was charged for $40 worth of gas than I originally had to begin with. This time I dropped the UHaul off at night, which I was instructed to do so by the Huntington location at pickup. Only to be scolded and threatened for more payment by the rudest lady I think I have ever encountered.

Under-staffed-- had reservation and still waited 30 minutes before someone could help me-- then first trailors lights didn't work after hook-up-- overall experience was less than ideal- and took entirely too long. I also lost connection with lights during 5-hour drive bc wires dragged on concrete. NOT SAFE AT ALL on busy I64 and I77.

The person took pictures of the truck sent me a link that was expired and also never explain that I was suppose to take pictures of the truck before returning it then after they got the truck the worker tried to say I put a scratch on the truck which never happened and I got charged $163. Something for damage that never happened I only had the truck for a couple hours and only drove it like 2 miles, only one trip then back to uhaul. Needless to say she is lying about what happened and I can't prove other wise cause she never sent me the pictures to compare them to the claimed damage the isn't there. I will never rent another uhaul again and will make sure I tell plenty of people to go else where to rent a truck

Used the 8' pickup to move about 1/4 mile in about three trips, plus had to pick up a dolly that would have been about 8 miles more, so well under the 20 miles I anticipated. (I didn't actually check the mileage). I put three gallons in the truck thinking that should cover it, but ended up having to pay the fuel charge. That thing must be a serious gas-guzzler for it to still be under the mark when I brought it back. The $19.95 promotion is a bit misleading as the entire price, with the $10 coverage, ended up costing $44.15 + $7.67 in gas that I put in myself. The fuel gauge measurement is just "fishy" to me. Just rent it full and tell people to return it full and there won't be any confusion. I had it for about five hours total, so it was a bit over $10/hour for it's use.

I am a nonsmoker and the truck had a strong cigarette odor in it. I think you should require that users not smoke and have them put up a refundable deposit to be returned if there is no evidence of smoking when the the truck is returned.

The truck was reserved for an eleven AM pickup. We waited two hours. When the vehicle was returned, the gas tank was full, but I was charged $16.88 for fuel. They also charged a $25 cleaning fee but I have no idea what for. Nothing was left in the vehicle but a leaf or two. This was a $19.99 one day rental plus 33 miles that cost more than $100 when it was all said and done. I feel exploited and violated.
