Rented a trailer, was told the gate was 5 feet wide. Went to michigan it was only 4'9". I asked if I could drop it at a u haul up there and pay to have it towed since I had no choice but to pay 3k for a trailer up there that would work. The manager at milford said clearly NO. Fortunately I stopped at a U haul any way and they let me drop it off. Had the Trailer 4 hrs cost me 160 dollars. All could of been avoided if I would of just measured and not trusted this store untrained employee. I will never go back or recommend this store and will try other options before using U Haul again.

I dropped off my 24 hour rental after hours late the same day I picked it up. It was due at 8.30 the next morning. I phoned in at 7.30, an hour before it was due and the attendant who answered the phone went and verified the return and came back at about 7.45 and told me I was "All set." At about 10.30 am I got an email that I had not returned my equipment. I call the 800 number and he told me he had it all taken care of, but I don't think I should have gotten an email at all.

The woman that worked there was extremely kind and worked hard. The man that was there was lazy, never came out to help, only to smoke and lied to me about not taking cash as payment.

Make sure your uhaul "dealers" actually have a parking lot and people available during normal business hours. There wasn't even a drop box. I'm not even sure if "Eurie Realty" is a real business. The lady at the Milford location was very helpful but I think she could have used some help because she seemed to be the only person working there.

Only hiccup was in regard to the added insurance. Told the counter rep I did not want added insurance. He asked about 3 times, I continued to decline. Insurance was still was charged to the account. I called the next day and it was easily removed. Not sure if there are commissions related to this upcharge, but I was not happy to see the charge on my bill. Otherwise, great experience!!!

I droped the tailer off a day early and gave the paper work to the manager on site. They are now calling me saying they don't have the trailer. Probably because of the pick up fiasco, they are all screwed up now. Not a good experience on either end of this experience.

I think the rental of a pickup is expensive for because the offer is $19 but additional the mileage plus the gas plus $1 of environmental fee? Is not worth it.

This is my second rental in last few weeks. The customer service, attention to detail and condition of equipment has exceeded all expectations in Milford and Sharonville locations. My historical experience ( 2 yrs back) has been that U-Haul has equipment that has been beat down, runs rough and the employees are there a short time until they find better jobs. It’s a new U-Haul experience that was professional and friendly these past 2 times. Thank you. Keep up the great results.

we rent weekly from this location for the past 3-4 months. i went in on sunday 6/9 to rent a pre scheduled vehicle and the person at the counter was very rude. sitting behind the desk leaning back in a chair. didn't acknowledge me when i came in. helped a customer who walked in after me and when they were done, leaned back in his chair and still didn't say anything to me.

My truck got a flat tire in Milford Ohio and no one called me back from the Service/Help desk. I had to drive 25 miles on a deflating tire to swap out my truck. Overall took me 4 hrs! Uhaul was virtually impossible to get a hold of when I NEEDED support. I will not rent another Uhaul

Wasn’t told there would be a festival and a parade around this location. Since the toad was closed for an extended time it didn’t allow me to have the truck back on time and it made my day a lot longer

Poor customer service. Was told to wait for them to inspect our truck after we dropped it off and waited over a half hour and they never did so we left. They helped other people and cleaned other trucks while we waited there before they got there

When I got there to pick up the truck and again when I returned it, I waited 10-15 minutes in the empty store and lot. There seemed to be only one employee and he was doing something else both times. The buzzer on the door wasn't working so he didn't know I was there. He was friendly and helpful but the wait was frustrating.

Even though I extended my rental and some days I may have forgotten to call but needed the truck to complete my move today but the person at the location threaten to call the police on me because I didn't extend the rental... But I guess he was just wanting another form of payment but he could have just had me come in but they were more concerned because they lost three people to rent the truck this weekend but it didn't really matter because I had it for a week and I was paying for the rental for the whole week so they didn't really lose any money... But to threaten to call the police on someone when all you needed was the customer to come in and pay for the rental was totally unnecessary and was completely poor service... and then try to overcharge me by another day until I asked for Anthony supervisor and then he changed it to 7 days... Anthony was poor in customer service skills...

When someone is picking up equipment... let them sign all the paper work, go down and hook it up and leave. This is the way it has been done in the past. This time I got an associate new to this location and I started off in the office, went down to hookup and hand to go back to the office to finish the paperwork. Just a more time consuming experience

Do not overcharge for the mileage even if it is 0.2 mile. You add that up and you get hundreds of dollars from multiple customers at a single location within a year. If this happens at a larger scale, you get thousands, in which case it amounts to a major fraud and it will end bad for a company... Does it worth it?

You ask way too many questions in the pre-rental process. I rented a car hauler and you wanted to know what make and model of the car being towed? I think it's a good idea to capture the information on the vehicle that is towing the trailer. It could speed up the process a lot during check in. I can tell it's frustrating for your employees, especailly when there's a line of people waiting.

other than the covered trailer, I had to load everything I rented...dolly, bags of blankets. I rented 12 blankets/$10 per day....because I was pointed to the blankets and told "you can pick the blankets up over there", I did not know how many were in a bag...only 6 it turns out. I picked up one bag...only 6....and was still charged for 12. Explained to the U Haul rep on return, he said he would credit them...did not do so on final bill

Communication was nonexistent. Tried to call the store and I kept getting routed to offsite call center that couldn’t confirm truck was there. They advised arriving a little past my pickup time to ensure the truck would be ready (even though I had paid movers waiting for the truck to arrive). Arrived 20 minutes after pickup time and truck was not cleaned and not ready for me to pick up. Had to pay 3 moving men for over an hour where they couldn’t do any loading due to truck not being there and ready. Very poor experience.

The woman (forgot her name) who waited on us was amazing!! She was the only staff person working. There was a line of people waiting to pick up equipment, there were people needing to return equipment, and the phone was ringing. She was fast, efficient, friendly, and knew everything. Her multitasking was beyond anything I've witnessed. That said, she deserves some help in the store!! I can't believe she was expected to manage the front of the store, including the phone, and the trailers/vans/trucks and other equipment in the lot. Kudos to her, but there should have been at least one more worker on duty.
