The rental truck has a sticker on the side that states its a fuel saver truck. I averaged about 10 miles to a gallon. How is this a fuel saver? This is crazy to only get about 300 miles to a tank.Michael D.

I regularly rent U-Haul vans to do local deliveries for my business, so I'm familiar with the process. And although I use different locations around town depending on availability, I've come to expect a certain standard of service no matter where I go. This time was different. When I arrived to pick up the van, the woman working the desk took me through the normal check-in routine. First, although I had scheduled the van from 12-6, I was told that they close at 5 and weren't doing after hours returns, so I'd have to shorten my booking. Odd, but I could make it work, so we kept going. When we got to the $10 insurance, I declined. She told me I was not allowed to decline because â€œthey had new vans and they didn't want them getting damaged.â€ I insisted that I didn't want the coverage, and finally she relented, telling me she would have to give me an older, more beat-up van since I didn't want the insurance. Then she told me if there was any damage at all that wasn't there before they would absolutely be charging me. I told her I understood. Then I went to see the van. There was not a body panel on the entire vehicle that didn't have existing damage, and one of the headlights was cracked. I went onto my phone to confirm damage and add photos as I normally do, and their photos of the â€œcurrent conditionâ€ of the van were of a brand new van. None of the existing damage was shown in the photos. And after what had seemed like a threat from the woman who rented it to me, I had to spend an extra 20 minutes taking photos of all the damage on the vehicle. There was enough damage that I hit the photo upload limit before recording everything, so I had to include just the worst parts. Thankfully, the van operated just fine and I was able to complete my delivery with no issues. I wasn't charged for extra damage upon my return. Bottom line - shortened rental period, insurance runaround (U-haul corporate might want to look into their insurance claims compared to other locations because trying to force the voluntary insurance on me seemed very fishy), equipment quality downgrade, and extra time spent documenting damage made for a really subpar experience. I rated it two stars because at least the van worked well enough to do the job. I will choose a different location from now on.Tristan A.

This location was very, very congested. Wasn't sure where to park to turn in the van. The staff Wes very friendly and helpful though. My only other complaint would be you need to allow more miles. In my situation 117 miles wasn't really enough, so I ended up paying quite a bit for the extra 20 or so miles I drove. But the van worked great for what I needed.Sandy C.

The manager was extremely rude, this location is extremely hard to get into and I pulled in and she wanted me to go around the block. It wouldn't have been that bad, but she was rude and basically told me they wouldn't rent to me if I didn't move my truck.Ryan R.

Wife was verbally assaulted and intimidated by uhaul representative. The representative made up claims that we damaged the vehicle with no evidence. When we voiced concern she threatened to call the police. I will be speaking with a lawyer on MondayAndrew C.

Took about 20 minutes for the guy to process what I thought would be a simple return (extra boxes from a â€œbox kitâ€ we bought at another location).Rob N.
Upon checkin, I was told gas gauge was at 15/16ths full. Upon entering the vehicle, I noticed the tank was at 3/4 full. I corrected this on the vehicle inspection formâ€¦ after driving a mere 5 miles, the truck sat in my driveway for about 1,5 hours while we loaded it. Upon getting back in the vehicle to drive to the storage unit to unload, magically the tank went down to 1/4 tank. Not possible at this point having driven 5 miles since pickup. I filled the truck all the way up at a cost of $106. I drove a total of 88 miles today. No way is the gas gauge working correctly and with the continual cascade of reduced fuel readings, I absolutely feel like the gauge was tampered with prior to pickup to make it appear there was an almost full tank when there wasn't. I'm not sure how this is possible as I'm not a mechanic, but no way I consumed $106 or 25 gallons of fuel having only driven a total of 88 miles. Upon mentioning this to the support staff, nothing was done to rectify the matter. I won't rent from Uhaul again.Ryan M.

I am so blessed to have encountered such an amazing experience. We were not educated on the tow dolly as to how to attach or detach it. The gentleman went above and beyond. That was very much appreciated after traveling through 3 states deadhead straight.renee C.
Hi, everything was ok besides one thing: I was asked to fill out the gas tank and I had to put $27 to it but I just drove 15 miles with the truck. The tank was not full filled but the difference on the dash was small. I asked for a refund but was not accepted. I don't think this is fair.Giovani R.

Just make sure with the customer that all of the moving supply orders that have been arranged to be picked up with the truck rental are all accounted for before leaving the checkout register. Great experience, I will use this location for every move!lesa L.

I had rented blankets at a separate location from a truck. I was told I could return the blankets anywhere. When I arrived to return everything they said I had to take the blankets to a story 30 miles away. Luckily they resolved it though it was a complicated process. This location was fine and efficient. However, my blanket rental should have been set to match my truck rental.Noah C.
Not sure the young lady's name at this location, but on 10/8 when we went to go pick up around 11am she was all by herself, other worker I believe was injured, she was handling several customers at the same time. She is a rockstar. She deserves some recognition!Robert G.
Truck had many, many scrapes and scars on every side. Much of that damage was not noted. I uploaded several pictures of the damage and yet was still charged for that preexisting damage. I don't recommend this location.Robert W.

I will never be back. The pics they take of the vehicle disappear after you agree to them, so take your own pics. We were charged over $200 for minor wear and tear damages that were already present, but we had no way to prove it. If you rent from them, heed my warning. Take your own pics of the vehicle beforehand.Jeannene W.

Expect to go here and be treated like less than human you will be treated like crap or if your lucky be ignored all together no one that works there likes there job and takes it out on customers who by the way pay there paycheck or we wouldn't be there. Store people called me and said that don't have any 17â€ truck available (when I was booking 17â€ truck available) and replaced with 26â€ instead. I told them abs lights on and breaks are not good enough to drive. They said you can bring it back but they still charged me for actual prize. I ended up rent another truck from another company. I already shared my experience with store manager as well but customer service level her response was so poor. She couldn't handle the problem at allErkut M.
Do not, under any circumstances, try to use the 24/7 Uhaul APP. It simply does not work. Whatever Uhaul V.P. that let the entire concept of an APP to rent a truck bet past the brainstorming stage should be fired immediately. It took me 45 minutes to get a truck where as it has taken 10-15 every other time I have rented. Just horrible. Once it had failed and I was able to work with one of the nice people at the store, all was good. This survey was about the location, and it was good. But if I was rating just Uhaul, they get Zero stars.Nicholas E.
