We called to see if we could return the trailer 3 days early. We were told yes and that they would be closing in 15 minutes. We arrived before close to a locked door and open sign off. We called from outside and the woman who answered the phone said they were inside the store,but closing. When I confirmed â€œyou are inside and your store is still supposed to be open,but you won't check in my trailer I just called about and confirmed we were on our way?â€ She confirmed that was correct. We had some trouble checking it in through the website and were still outside long enough to see her run to her car and drive off. We did confirm through hand signals that the trailer was parked in a place that was ok to leave it. I wonder how often employees deny service during business hours?Sarah F.

If the odometer reading on the paperwork is incorrect and you ask us to take a picture proving that it is incorrect but then you continue to charge for the incorrect rate that is not what I would consider professional or a good business practice. There is no way that I drove 60 miles in the time I had the vehicle however that's what I was charged for.Sean B.

The on-line reservation was less than satisfactory. I selected Bountiful, Utah as the pick-up location. When I confirmed all of the information and paid for the rental I was disapponted to learn that the pick-up location was in Salt Lake City on State Street. When I called the morning of the pick-up I was informed that the pick-up location had been changed to 2100 South in Salt Lake City. No es bueno!Walter B.

I was very disappointed with Uhaul in that I was about to board a flight to Utah to pick up the rental I booked over a month ago. They informed me they did not have a truck for me. I had to take a larger truck, causing me to incur far more fuel costs.Tara S.
They didn't have the blankets and roller that I paid for and waited 15 minutes for help from one of the guys from the shop. The lady that I initially dealt with showed little interest in her job. The service returning was excellent and the man that helped did an above and beyond job unfortunately the truck pickup experience made the experience harder than it had to be.Elliott M.

This is only my recent experience. I returned the equipment and told I was good to go. The equipment was never checked in, I was called 9 days later and left a voicemail asking where the equipment was. I called back the number, went to the national call center and waited 30 minutes. The representative at the call center said she didn't know the reason for the call and would put me in touch with customer service. All she did was send me back into the hold queue for 30 minutes. After which I was hung up on. I finally drove to the location yesterday showed them I had a picture of me returning the equipment and the problem was fixed.jake D.

Employees were badmouthing customers with the GM at the registers. 'Couldnt wait to go eat so we can get away from idiot customers'. No one was friendly or even smiled. No one wore masks. The couple in front of me were told that their reservation was not available. When the couple asked if an employee could call around to see if one was available elsewhere the employee said no. After the no explaination check out I recieved every employee and GM went on a smoke break. They sat right out front on a rental truck tailgate. I didnt feel confortable asking any questions or double checking anything about the rental. I will not be using this location again.Mindy H.
An incredible team was onsite Saturday. The general manager had me ready to go within minutes of opening and when we returned the car tow in the afternoon we were immediately assisted with detaching the tow. Best rental experience I've ever had. Merci.Anders L.

I rented a trailer and got double charged when I kept it for less than 24 hours. I can't get anyone to fix this issue, your customer service representative was not helpful and could not be reasoned with. I am very upset. It's not about the money, it's the principal and doing what is right! No one seems to care about that. I even went to the location to check on this and I was going to get a call back from the manager since employees could not fix the issue which they agreed was done incorrectly but no contact yet.Martin M.

Kudos to the young woman, Paige Wiseman, who assisted me. She was friendly, knowledgable and even helped load the rental pads into my vehicle. She obviously is well versed with not only the local operations, but also helped in finding a drop off site. Improvement to the phone system needs to be made. Cleanliness should not be the only focus in your survey. Customer service was fair and my experience was totally inefficient with disorganized staff who lost keys to a vehicle that was blocking another only to learn the keys were in one of the guys' back pocket. The first truck I was given had the driver seat so far back I could'nt reach the gas or break and the seat adjustment was broken. I got another truck abs it smelled like cigarettes which was awful. The price of 19,99 $ per day sounds great but 1 $for every mile adds up quick. Knew it was too good to be true!ANDREA S.

Two of the three employees I worked with (indoors) were not wearing masks. With it being such a small and busy store, employees should be required to wear masks considering the global pandemic we're in. Also, I was not informed that I would be charged an extra fee for dropping off the trailer early and charged for moving blankets that I did not use. Overall a disappointing experience. I will find an alternative in the future as I am not comfortable with the disregard of customer safety and experience.Johnathan H.

It took me an hour to return my trailer. It was after store hours so I used the website to return. When I tried to confirm my location with the website it was unable to verify I was at the right location. I turned on location services and was still unable. After 30 minutes I had to call a friend and make them drive to my location so I could complete my check in. It was infuriating and a huge waste of my time. There needs to be some other option to verify location in the event that this happens.Mathew D.

I had been in the store the day before I was to pick up my moving truck. I confirmed the date and time. When I showed up to pick up the truck, it was not available. I was told there was nothing that could be done. Finally someone called the manager (who was on vacation), then told I could either pay for a 1 day rental (that has a mileage charge) or be given a 50 $*sorry we can't help/don't care* certificate.Charlotte K.
