Things were a little confusing because of the corona virus nightmare, but considering that, everything was great. The truck I had could use a new driver's seat, but other than that it was a wonderful experience on really short notice. I ordered the truck online and picked it up within about ten minutes. Thanks U-Haul!

Equipment was NOT ready on time App didn’t work to return equipment on the lot was charged a 20.00 convenience fee, because your app didn’t work Returned equipment at 7 pm Just after you closed and was charged another full day of rental plus another full day for the dollys and pads Instead of paying 150.00, I ended up paying over 300.00 Vehicle was NOT clean when I picked it up But I was charged 25.00 cleaning fee when I returned it You’re charging me for negligence on your part I rent trailers regularly but NOT now not after this fiasco. Completely unsatisfied with your lack of professionalism

Properly set the clock to Daylight Savings time...we never could figure out how to do that and it was several hours before we realized that we were an hour behind what we thought we were....

Noticed the truck had dirty floors and felt that I was overpriced for the total trip. I did not have and choose not to have a mobile device w/ Wi-Fi data to close out the needed info. of the trip. Felt that 20.00 dollars was too much of a cost for this service, plus extra fees/ taxes were a bit too much!!

Great customer service and knowledge of the area made the transition to the new house easy and fair. They were also quite knowledgeable about local cuisine and the all important milage. Concierge style service and old fashioned great attitude. Definitely would use this location over the there. Great job. Keep them. This kind of service is a dying art. Bravo. Sean S. My initial check in was a mess because it was after hours and the app wasn’t working correctly, but there was an employee there that told me to leave the truck and he would take care of it. Well he never checked it in so I got more charges for an extension 2 days later. Luckily, I spoke to a very helpful man named Stanton and he took care of all of it so quickly! I would recommend this place because of the help I received after the mistake!

the staff is always knowledgeable and friendly and there is usually zero to minimal waiting for assistance. i did have to wait but there was only one person working the counter, completing rental issues. he was doing his best and was busy but was still poised, polite, and professional.

Your online return needs improvement. It didn't say anywhere on the return instructions that you had to be on the uhaul lot for return. I returned the truck and filled out the return when I got home and and it didn't work because I wasn't on the Uhaul lot this cost me $20.

The staff at North Charleston UHAUL were awesome! So friendly and helpful! I could not check my truck back in on my cell phone and when I went into the office to let them know - they helped out by manually checking the truck back in and provided excellent customer service!!

Everything was fine until I called back after I done returned it to night before I called an asked if I owed they said no we owe you 35 went down there and finding out that I owed them 9 the information that they give their customers are never on the same page at all . I don't mind paying the $9 it's just the fact that their story's NEVER ADD UP.

Accept cash as payment. I understand needing a debit card on file in case anything happened, but it's absolutely ridiculous that 100% of my payment had to be on a card. Jonathan told me that was the only way to process it, which makes no sense to me. I've rented uhauls before and have paid with cash.

The less than forthright process that shoved in a hidden order (aka "Buyers Club") and charged me without fulfilling the order was very disappointing. U-Haul has been a brand that one used to be able to trust.

Why can I only find the small vans at the North Charleston location? This is the largest dealer in my area, but it is 32 miles from my home. This means that I pay for 64 miles before I ever use the van. I pass 4 dealers to get to the North Charleston dealer.

I am a non-smoker and this rental reeked of stale smoke. This made our experience less than appealing. Next time I will make sure I request a non-smoker vehicle. The store should have asked IF I would take a smoker's rental.

Make sure the self checkin is working correctly. I returned dolly after hours and went to check in and it told me to park it legally and then drop contract in box. Did not allow me to take pics and do normal after hours return. Then was charged extra $21 this morning. When i called location rep told me it was my fault and he would not do anything for me and i was out of luck. Never will use this location again and will make sure to post this negative experience on social media and local news for the local customer concerns. I rent many vehicles and have never been treated this way. I will use Uhaul but will drive to a better location that promotes customer service.
