Hi, when I went to return my Uhaul, I realized that the store clerk had accidentally charged me for insurance. When I signed up I specifically waived the insurance because my car insurance covers me in a uhaul, but she charged me anyway. I want this refunded immediately! I'm very upset because she didn't even ask me and it wasn't in line with my online order.ILAN G.

I made an appointment a month in advance and got a friend to follow me to the shop and then give me a ride home and showed up at 7:30 am and was told that the person who does the work does not work on Tuesdays, and they did not have the parts. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY.!!! He said they would call me tomorrow but they did not. I called them on Friday. Oh they " just got the part and were going to call "- yeah right. Call the day before to verify. I returned the trailer shortly after closing time, and the staff was still on the premises. Despite that I got there after hours, the person was very helpful; they helped me back the trailer back in, unhooked the trailer, and checked me in with their phone so that I did not have to go back into the building. I was told that because I had arrived 45 min after the estimated pickup time that my vehicle was almost given away. The driver's side door was damaged (missing key cylinder) such that you could not unlock that door from the outside. I was not told about this before taking the vehicle, and only realized it at a rest stop on the highway. Just before leaving I was told that I'd be charged >30 $if I had not folded the blankets, so I ran outside to do that in the middle of the parking lot in the rain to avoid charges.BRIGID D.

Gas gauge didn't work. When we originally scheduled the truck we opted to drop it off in Whit River Junction, then our location completely changed and the customer service rep on the phone was rude and unhelpfulBRIAN C.

Postive experience overall. Le personnel était amical et serviable. Equipment was in good shape. My only issue is that I put gas into the truck and rest was still charged (I think too much) for gas. The truck was not full when I picked it up (a bit more than a half tank). So how accurate can uHaul be with claiming I had not returned it at the same level of gas?? It is vague, and I feel I was overcharged.CHARLES R.

I was there Friday 10/1 in Natick. Can't say enough about check in guy. Very knowledgeable about the products. Friendly, pleasant guy. Worked with me to get me the truck I needed. It got busy at one point and a guy came in yelling about something. Man behind the counter (sorry don't have his name) diffused the situation quickly and the guy came back in and apologized. I was there for all of 10 minutes but was impressed. Often the checkout person is the only person you deal with and you make your opinion about the company. He represents UHaul well.TIMOTHY D.
You have to fix the check-in website. That site is mulfunctioning with the location, adding photos. It is cludgy at best and a watse of good time. Frustrating experience.IGSHAAN T.

Returning the vehicle through app is horrible experience. App never accepted the photo during the return for odometer and fuel level. Also, never ever anyone said there is a return fee during off hours. When you project 24/7 then why do you charge the fee. Dint false promise customers. Horrible..AMUTHAPRAVIN M.

Always send it out with a full tank of gas. The truck I rented was 7/8 full, but when I replaced the gas just before returning I filled it. I thought I would stop and check gage, but it was full before I stopped it. I guss I donated 1/8th of a tank to U-Hall. Other than that I was pleased that I got a good truck. Merci.Paul S.
I did NOT receive an email confirmation that I had checked the vehicle prior to departure. I used the link that I received via text message when I received the keys from the employee. I took updated photos documenting pre-existing damage. When I completely that process the page indicated that I was all set. So, I drove off with the vehicle. Later when I arrived at my destination I noticed on my phone that there was an ERROR Message on the Receive and Dispatch screen. It appears that the updated photos and vehicle damage that I noted prior to leaving the rental location were not accepted or recorded. UNACCEPTABLE!SCOTT R.

Only one person was working and responsible for the whole store. Luckily I was the only customer but I felt badly that the poor woman had to do all the work - UHaul needs to shift money from overpaying corporate executives to investing in the front line staffNathaniel W.

The remote pickup app is not as user-friendly as it could be and I REALLY disliked the requirement that I photograph my driver's license and send it to you to check in. Photographing it and sending it makes that information vulnerable to hacking, even if you use a secure connection, and I think that's not good practice. If I rent from you again, I'll check in at the desk instead. The guy at the counter was friendly enough and helpful, but he probably could have used a second person to assist. Even with a short line, things were slow, and the van I was renting was parked-in and I had to wait until he finished with another customer before he could come out and move the vehicle in front of mine so I could leave. All told, it took me nearly the first 30 minutes of my rental time to get into my vehicle and get going. I don't think that's the kind of convenience that your remote check-in app is supposed to provide.Paul F.
