The gentlemen I checked out with was great! He pulled the truck out for me so I could easily get on the road. He helped me with the extra supplies I needed, too! The miles were wrong. When I went to enter the miles on the vehicle after turning it in, the site wouldn't let me because it said the miles I entered were less than the miles at the start of the rental. I had to make up a number to estimate how much I drove.Andrew W.

I had a reservation at west 7th for two months, and the day before pickup U haul tells me they don't have a trailer available and I need to drive 3x the distance to silver lake to pick it up. Customer service refused to help. It's unreasonable that a literal moving company can't move a trailer to west 7th, especially with *two months* of notice. I had a reservation, which y'all agreed to. You failed to meet your end of that agreement. Do better, U-Haul.Philip S.

When I picked up and dropped off the van I rented, the customer service that I received was excellent. The van's side mirrors and windshield were dirty on the outside.COLLEEN W.
Checking the truck in using the mobile app was an absolute nightmare. based on the number of pictures on my phone, it took me 15 tries before it completed successfully. every single time i would get part way through the process, and the app would start over. it literally took me an hour to check the equipment back in. I would not wish that mobile app on my worst enemy. it's absolute garbage.Clyde H.

It was busy when I dropped off truck so I had to wait. Waiting sucks and my wait should have been a lot less. Second, the little scam with the dolly and the pads in the truck SUCK!!!. They were in the way the whole time and everyone keep trying to use or move them. If I needed them I would have ordered. Just because of that wasted space and inconvenience I would look elsewhere next time. If you need more money charge for it but don't do this bullshit. Thought you should know how I and my movers felt. The truck was great and Phil and the guy who checked me in were great. Glad I only move every 20 years. Thank you FredFREDRICK B.

Both people that helped with rental and then with check in seemed distracted. The person who checked us in was super friendly and helpful. And was also answering the phone and holding those conversations while helping us. The constant interruptions were frustrating to him and us, and anxiety producing for me as we stood there and waited. I do not fault him with this. UHaul needs to provide sufficient staff. Especially on a Saturday when everyone and their brother is trying to move, and rent vehicles, and calling in with questions (though some of the calls seemed to be from coworkers with questions, which should have been put on hold). My frustration wasn't as much with this employee trying to do his job, as with the company that didn't provide enough workers to enable him to do his job. (but also - there needs to be a "put you on hold" option so that he can do one thing at a time, and employees need to use it. which would probably be impossible for one person, as the phone kept ringing and real live people were standing in line behind me waiting to be waited on.)CATHERINE P.

The two people who worked at this location were extremely helpful, but I had to go to three different locations just to get a tow dollie. My first reservation was at the coon rapids storage location and I was extremely disappointed because I had made a reservation weeks prior, and when I showed up the lady had no clue where my tow dollie was and she told me that they had none for me unless I upgraded to a full trailer bed. She proceeded to be clueless and suggested me to drive to the nearest Uhaul location and see if they have any tow dollies. I drove there and they had none, I explained my situation to the worker there and he had apologized about it and then helped me find the location in new Brighton that had a tow dollie available. As I got there, the customer service was great, but then my dollie had the passenger brake light out! They told me it was a wiring issue and that they couldn't do anything about it, so they suggested me to buy a brake light set for 34 $and I did because I was driving across the countryâ€¦ so yeah. Overall experience, I am unsatisfied and disappointed. Would not recommend this to anyone else.Matthew Y.
