There was a man inside the store who was not wearing a mask. Masks are mandated and for the safety of your customers, there should be signage stating that masks are required. His presence in the store made me stressed and worried about how many ppl at uhaul had been disregarding covid safety standards.

The trucks are obviously not locked or kept secure. It was apparent that people are able to get into them, especially the holds in the back, and do whatever they want. Our first truck had several beer cans, cigarettes, and Chinese takeout box full of urine in it. The second truck was cleaner, but still smelled of human waste. We weren't charged for some of our reserved items to make up for the state of the first truck, but it seems to me that the trucks should be kept in better condition, cleaned more often, and kept locked overnight so that people can't get into them.

i couldn't believe how seemless this experience was! Reasonably priced, the vehicle i rented was clean and well maintained, and the staff were super helpful. Keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen! The option to handle a lot of the transaction on-line saved me a lot of time at the store.

My issue was not so much with the location, but with the process. I was forced to put down a $100 deposit because your system wouldn't take my debit card, a Bank of America visa debit card, because it thought it was a prepaid card or something. That was super annoying.

There were no space on the parking lot , although it's big enough. Customers have to be advised not park the trucks in middle of the lot in the way that other customers would not have a room for parking(in other words people need to be reminded to consider other people)

My rental was changed to a different location, but I didn't mind that since it was still close by. I did, however, rent 2 furniture dollies and no one informed me that there weren't any available at this location until I arrived to pickup the rental. My only option at that point was to purchase the dollies in store, spending more money than I was planning. It would have been nice to be informed ahead of time that these dollies were not available.

There were no dollies of any kind available, even though I had requested one with my reservation. You're literally a moving and shipping company; how do you run out of such an essential item? It's literally one of the dumbest things I have ever heard in my entire life. I had to move my refrigerator down a flight of stairs and not having access to a dolly made it exceedingly difficult. Also, my reservation was for four hours, but someone called me before my four hours were up, literally as I was at the gas station on my way back, to ask where I was. Super annoying. The representative who checked me in told me I could return the truck after closing time, which would have been 7:30, yet he put my in-time as 7:00.

I was appalled at the overall customer service of U-Haul via phone. It was a terrible experience. I was quoted one price when I made the initial reservation and it almost doubled when I did the pick up. Also, I received a call a week before to notify me of my pick up location. I was told my pick up location was in Canada! I was supposed to have the pick up in Southern California in the LA area, and they gave me a pick up in Canada! When I called to resolve the information, I kept getting all these runaround's and given completely different pricing. I followed up several days later and I was told my reservation was going to be for a week. It was made for three days. They told me the week was the same price. When I went to go pick up the truck they told me it was indeed only three days. I was repeatedly misinformed! Having to pay double also made things difficult since I had budgeted for the lower amount. I expected more from your company. It was the phone personnel at not at the staff at pick up location that had the problems. The was not a rating for company overall, so that is why the pick up location is receiving a Poor rating.

The employee at this facility marked the gas tank incorrectly and because of it, I ended up paying an additional $20 that I shouldn't have been charged for. Very frustrating and seemed deliberately done by the employee because she should know how to read the gas tank if she deals with reading it multiple times a day.

I would not recommend location as there were a group of guys hanging out front (between Uhaul and the gas station) that appeared to be gang members. I did not feel safe going to and from UHaul.

I was scheduled to have a contactless mobile pick up but my truck was blocked in at the back of the lot and none of the equipment was in the truck so I had to go inside and complete my rental. I drove away one hour after my scheduled pick up time.

U-Haul 7721 Hollywood Wy Burbank, CA 91505 Guaranteed the equipment and sent me the Reservation Number, but when I got there, they couldn't find my name and sent me to North Hollywood 11666 Victory Bl North Hollywood, CA 91606. It's far away from where I live - disappointed. That made me delayed for everything.

It's just tricky to pull in and park at this location, but otherwise it was easy and fast to drop off and the staff is lovely!

The fellow there was very friendly and helpful. He got me in and out very quick. It's an older station that is a touch rundown but they had what i wanted including supplies. So many locations are short of equipment right now (mainly one-way open and closed trailers.)

Mirrors didn't work properly, the rubber tubing around the entire drivers side door fell out and the ENTIRE truck absolutely reeked of marijuana (cab included). Lastly you actually lost this vehicle after I returned it as I received increasingly desperate calls for 4 days asking me when the truck was going to be returned and each time informed the employee that it was either on your lot or stolen. The truck itself drove like a WWII tank which needed to be tuned up.

I waited as the Rep wiped the truck cab down thoroughly. When I got in, the front window was completely wet, on the inside... did he forget to wipe that? The truck smelled very strongly like wet dog. I was not told but learned there were no headlight light control knobs. They had been removed. The headlights came on automatically but I could not turn off the cab light. The truck knocked a bit while driving making me think there was a tire issue but there was not. This truck was more worn and beat than it looked.

The two folks that took care of me at pick up and delivery were great! The first gentleman didn't waste time and got me the truck I wanted. Upon returning the truck, the lady was polite, professional, and prompt. Thanks for the positive experience.

Van was filthy. Was unable to access online account to return moving van. When I called customer service several times, no one picked up. Each time, I waited on hold more than 30 mins before hanging up. I called 3 times. I received my final bill, and the charges were more than $100 over what was held on my card. I tried to reply to the person who sent the email to see if we could discuss the charges, and it was an invalid email address. I tried to reply back to the email sender, and it was from a no-reply address. I again tried to call twice, only to be left on hold for upwards of 35 minutes. No one ever came to the phone. I'm am completely dissatisfied. Contract # 21805925

I reserved a trailer from a location near me. (Lancaster California). The location was validated by a U-Haul representative over the phone. A few days before my move I was told it was not longer available and I would have to drive to Hollywood California if I wanted a trailer. This was a 120 mile round trip. Absolutely unacceptable. If Penske rented trailers I would have gone with them. They have always been dependable.

I rented the pickup and the truck was very Dirty. By far the absolute dirtiest vehicle i have ever rented. The side mirrors were so dirty I could barely see out of them. Don't get me started on how filthy the bed was. You need to do better especially in this time of COVID.

Alex and Amy were VERY easy to work with and transparent regarding ALL charges. I do think that all Uhaul trucks, upon the opening of the rental contract should SEE the interior disinfected. Our truck inside was 'clean' but due to COVID awareness, we didn't really know if the interior of the driver's cab was disinfected with sterile wipes and disinfectant spray... Thank you !

Store and ground ma were filthy. Truck had a “sticky” steering wheel, and McDonalds under the passenger seat. Truck windows were very dirty and the young man who greeted me when I returned called me “man” “Bro” and “dude”... completely inappropriate.

The actual Truck was not exist. I had to get a much longer truck instead. The battery died and I had to wait until midnight to get it replaced and return the truck which was so long and old that I couldn't even maneuver it around my location.

First you can start off with customer service returning emails that's was sent over 5 days ago. My card was charged for an incorrect amount. And No one has gotten back to me regarding this.
