staff did not give a receipt 6 days later this ripoff co. sent a receipt for 1,042.00 on a 463.13 of charges.NOT knowing I already printed out the charges and got the ins co. ck. on top of that I called them on it and A magical receipt showed up, this is 6 days later. all this is due to staff incomitance I'M not paying for their mistakes the bank is in agreement, the insurance co. did their job and paid what was on the bank charges and my lawyers on this case said they have seen this before. and not to worry they have to eat it...

I was charged a refueling fee 4 days after my drop off despite the fact that I fill the truck before I returned it. If they got ANY more gas in it it was less than a gallon and they charge my card 51.53. FOUR days later. Shady.

the gas gage fluctuated & we did not have time to call in about it we went 19 miles & put $15 in to avoid additional charges the new policy about us being responsible for checking all that out feels unfair you could respond by refunding us some $$ we shall see how much you really value this input!

I wanted a Ford van. If I ask for one, I should be able to get one if it's available. The GMC vans don't drive as well, and don't seem to have good gas mileage.

Make the insurance free. Mine was $70. I didn't need it because I take care of things, but I worried more about other people damaging the van while I wasn't there, and I shouldn't have to pay for other people.

I have called customer service and they will call me back. When I returned the truck they said I damaged the side and the front. I asked to speak to a manager and then asked her to show me the pictures that I accepted on the app. When she finally got the pictures up she agreed that the side was already damaged and was on the picture I accepted and did not charge me. She then said she could not pull up the front because it was already checked in. I said then you can not charge me for it - how do you know I did not do it. She said she was charging me for it - and I got upset and said that is not right - as the side one you said I did but when you looked at the picture you said it was there - so why would the front not be like this. I asked to call Customer Service together as I am sure they have that picture and she said you can call customer service on your own I have other things to do . Extremely rude. I then said I will record you as I asked the facts as I am frustrated that you could not pull up the front picture that I accepted on the app. as I know I did not hit anything. She said that she will call the police and I said that is a good idea. The police came and basically said that I had to call customer service. I am shocked that the General Manager was so rude and not helpful. I guess maybe she was having a bad day. I just want a picture of the front that I accepted on the text that they sent me - and then I would like the damage charge that they charged me refunded.

I can’t think of anything. Arranged via telephone and everything was ready. No issues on the road. Brand new tires gave me a lot of confidence in driving from Arizona to Minnesota, especially on icy roads as I went further North. Excellent work UHaul teams. I had a reservation to pickup a truck 1.1.2020 at 7:00 am. They had assigned the wrong truck to me. I had to reach out to Uhaul for customer service that resolved the problem, but it took almost an hour of my time wasted due to them assigning the wrong truck to me. When I returned the truck I spoke with the Manager Michaela MELGOAZ she would not listen to anything I had to say about me wasting almost an hour onsite trying to pickup the truck that I had a reservation for. I have rented Uhaul from this site 16 different times in 2019. I received no consideration from the Manager for a reduction in the rental fee. When I got home I called Customer Service Uhaul to file a complaint which I did. They advised me the Manager would call me within 72 hours. The Manager called me the next day and offered me a refund of $1.25. Now if that is not an insult I don't know what is $1.25. That is the consideration a valued customer gets after 16 previous rentals from this site. I will never go back to this site till the Manager is replaced. I rented another Uhaul several days later from another location and talk about politeness and professionalism far exceeds this sites Manager. If you want a good UHAUL Rental go to: Uhaul 800 N McClintock Tempe, AZ 85281 I went there today 1/4/20 and they were very prompt.

After we filled the truck with furniture we went to start it and the battery was dead which cost us extra money and time since we had to pay for movers so that part was extremely frusterating and tiring. Because this set us back in time we were late for another appointment. We do alot of business monthly with Uhaul and this was not convenient at all.

I have rented equipment from UHAUL many times. Your improvements on the technology have been impressive. The ease of checking in and out is simple. Additionally, all of the people working made things very easy. Honestly I have been to this location several times in the past 6 months and most of the other experiences the staff was not that happy to be there, and more directly not that good at assisting my rental. Not sure if something has changed or I just got lucky but figured someone should tell you. Hope that helps. Again, best experience in years! Feel free to call me if needed. Location and truck itself were fine. It was the initial intake experience that really needs some improvement. When i walked in , early morning around 10 am, no one else in the place but one staff member comfortably sitting in the chair, behind all your for sale merchandise (he was hard to see and kinda covered) , and didn't greet me as I walked in. I had to find him. I had made a reservation two days prior. But that didn't seem to help this process or speed it along at all. Staff person was very slow and his whole demeanor was, "I'm on my timeframe". He seemed nice enough, but kept repeating, "this is what the system is making me do." He had to re-enter all my information, which wasn't there already. The process seemed complicated for a simple rental of a 10 foot truck. Especially when a guy walked in after I did, your other staff person showed up from the back, and he was helped immediately, and sent on his way in a jiffy. Long before me. I asked to rent a dolly. He asked if I needed a furniture dolly or box dolly. It wasn't explained to me the difference, so the one I got, was not helpful at all. I called to get another one; no one offered to deliver one, a few miles away, and was basically told, No, we can't do that.Treating customers differently, and not in a consistent way, is evedently a UHaul thing. I suggest management takes a look at this and corrects these patterns with training and some role play, so you avoid poor Yelp reviews and Consumer Complaints.
