Customer service was exceptional @ pickup, the man working the yard was quick to hook up and get me on my way, despite the rain and heavy flooding he had to deal with. The customer service at the desk was top notch. During the return, the young lady at the equipment return was very busy but stopped what she was doing to help out. I told her since she was so busy and I was in a hurry, I could drop the trailer over in the yard to make everyone's life easy. She agreed and said that would be very helpful. This is where everything went down hill. The man working the yard was disconnecting a trailer, so we pulled next to the other AT trailers and disconnected it. Set it so he was set set. He insisted that the trailer get brought over to the other side. So I hooked it back up and brought it over realizing he didn't want to get wet. However, the trailer was already set, and nobody would get wet, I had already disconnected it standing in a little. Puddle. Now he wants me to back an auto transport trailer into a spot using a 40' RV, not possible due to the tigh spot and I'm going to hit a Uhaul truck parked across from the spot. He then says, wait here, I have to go get my boots. Seriously? We have been expecting this storm since Monday, forecasting between 4â€-12â€ of rain, this is Florida , it rains here, and Andrews, where that Uhaul location is gets flooded with normal rain, this is a tropical storm, of course you are going to get a little flooded, and Saturday was much more flooded and the guy working Saturday didn't even flinch at the rain. Not happy ! I brought the trailer back to the front and again the young lady in the front was very helpful and ended all the nonsense.chad A.

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!!!! I am not one to leave reviews but this place is a SCAM. I dropped the uhaul off on the day it was supposed to be dropped off on, when we got there we went in the store and all the employees were asleep on the desk we woke the girl up and asked where to leave the keys and she said to drop them in the uhaul key box outside. Normally they are supposed to check the truck out, never did. Never even told us where to leave the truck so we left it on the side near another uhaul van. Something was off so I emailed uhaul reps and told them the situation and that the contract never got closed. ITS BEEN 9 DAYS, I've been emailing uhaul all week keeping them updated and finally the manager CLOSED THE CONTRACT 9 DAYS LATER AND CHARGED ME A LATE FEE $385??? WHEN HE WAS THE ONE THAT TOOK THIS LONG TO CLOSE IT OUT??? THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS DO NOT COME HERE!!! Horrible horrible location. I would give 0 stars if I could, this place needs to be shut down immediately.Chandel P.

I was charged for services I did not authorize, they refused to reimburse my card, over $200 of unauthorized charges were debited to my bank card. I am furious and do not recommend this location for any services. When attempting to address these important issues the representatives were very disrespectful and unconcerned about me being robbed of the money they were not authorized to charge/take.Michael B.
Have faster help, when you return your vehicle and or equipment. It should not take 10 minutes or your staff to wait on a customer that's trying to fit a refrigerator in the backseat of their car. When you finish moving you are ready to go home. And not wait for your staff and a customer that is not ready to check out.DEBBIE N.

The truck was terrible it felt like the transmission was pulling. We felt the brake lock up going over a curb on a bridge so unfortunately this location was not good then when we report it they said the truck was ok but honestly it need some repairsLATIA T.
My reservation that I booked 1 month out had many problems. I arrived at the location my UHaul app told me to arrive to, only to find out my contract actually stated to go to a different location 25 minutes away in Pompano. When I arrived, I was told they did not have my truck available for me, and that I would have to call a number. I called, and the rep was very courteous and said they fixed the problem and that my truck was indeed here at the Pompano location. I went back inside and told them what the rep said, and they began to retrieve my truck. The truck took 30 minutes to arrive, at which point I was told a check engine light was on and would take time to fix. Another 40 minutes passed and eventually I was able to rent my truck. The whole process was very cumbersome and frustrating, and it felt like the truck I had reserved and planned for could fall through at any moment. I now do not want to use UHaul again even after having used them for multiple moves before.Mitchell B.

Reservation process was a nightmare. I booked one location for pickup. When I showed up they informed me that my pickup location had been changed. Drove to the next place. At this new location the one trailer that fit my size did not have functioning trailer lights, so now on to the third place.James P.

I've made a UHaul truck reservation @ U-Hauk of Pompano Beach (788056) 801 S Andrews Ave, Pompano Beach, FL 33069. When I entered the building location to pick up my vehicle the agent who reviewed my information quoted me a different total price. When I kindly asked to provide more information about the different price he was not able to provide more detail regarding the difference between the initial reservation and the quoted price. I had to disagree with him, he lacked customer service skills to answer a simple question on why the price was different. He got into a verbal argument with me by telling me that this is the price,take it or leave it. When I responded and it was clear that I am not going to agree with the quoted from him price another female agent stepped in and reviewed the information where she found out that the input approximate millage was overstated from 80 miles to 180 in which the other agent again tried to argue and to blame me that I told him 180miles instead of 80miles which is what I initially stated on my online reservation. Only after I got upset with the first male agent that assisted me and the matter escalated into a verbal disagreement the 2nd female agent was able to stepped in and resolve the misunderstanding. I used the equipment and everything was fine after however I wanted to make you aware of the lack of customer service skills with the first male agent. He was not very professional and was not able to resolve a simple question regarding the difference in price furthermore he was acting as if it was my fault for the approximate millage statement. The kid was very argumentative towards me and surprisingly rude.Ilian L.

My confirmation email gave me a pickup location of Post n Go on McNab Rd., close to my home. When I got there I encountered the rudest person ever and no truck. He sent us to another location where the woman was much nicer. She had a truck but not the equipment I had reserved. The whole experience was horrible and I will not be using Uhaul again. I've also shared my experience with my friends, family and thousands of fellow realtors. What is the point of your reservations and confirmation emails if you don't have the equipment??? The trailer itself was clean inside but in tough shape in parts outside-- topical damage which did not hinder riding function. After experiencing rain during the first day of our 800-mile trip, it continually leaked inside from the back left roof. Upon delivering to dropoff, it was noted that both turn signals were not working--- not sure how long they were not working.SIOUXZEN W.

I arrived at the location and was directed by a guy working there, he told me that I needed to tip him or I would have to be charged an unloading fee for dropping off the trailer.
