He said yes and the next day I received an email that said the truck was overdue and I was charged for an extra day. The situation was then rectified by the field manager.

John MartinThere unfortunately was not ample room for me to back the van up and out of the parking lot. There was barely a foot of room for me to get into the van and although I am quiet a small person I had to squeeze myself into the drivers seat. It was not parked in a spot that allowed me to drive forward out of the lot. As a result, I scratched the van within 5 minutes of having it, just trying to get it out of the parking spot. I had to pay $260 for damages. This could have been avoided if it was parked in a way that at least had enough room for me to open the door fully.

Jennifer EtueThe location is busy and difficult to access with nobody around to help you drop off. You have to find someone after getting out of the vehicle and I was blocked by another truck from entering for more than 15 minutes who was having the same issue.

Brenda CavanaughI went to rent a uhaul and I was supposed to only be charged for one day and they charged me for 2 days. The lady who handled this interaction was extremely rude. Very unprofessional and I will not be coming back and I will not refer anyone there.
MIGUEL PAYANOThe staff at this location are extremely rude and unprofessional. While dropping off, the worker was on her cellphone while "helping" another customer, complaining about the employee that was "supposed to be working" and cleaning trucks, she literally left the counter in the middle of the interaction with the customer and walked outside while still in her cell phone to continue complaining about a coworker. The truck we received was filthy, brakes 100 % needed to be replaced; the brake pedal was pretty much on the floor for it to even begin to slow down, the transmission/engine was awful, wouldn't switch gears properly and just stayed at higher than normal RPM's. The doors didn't close properly and the lock in the back wasn't functional. We filled the gas to the exact amount when we received it and yet I was still charged for gas. I was charged for two furniture dollies when I only received one. Awful experience and will never use U-Haul again, there's much better companies out there that don't rip you off.

Kinkin TimboMy interactions with the staff at this location were great, so I don't want my review to reflect negatively on them. With that said, overall my experience has been very poor. I tried to book and pickup the truck through the uhaul app, but the app was unintuitive and slow to the point that I had to abandon it. While the staff on site were great, the vehicle I got was not: The steering wheel was worn down to bare foam. While driving the Sun visor swung down and obstructed the windshield before falling off completely. The vehicle had so much cleaner/air freshener in it that it was honestly very difficult to drive it. This was far and away the biggest issue. I have worked in manufacturing facilities with industrial coatings and solvents, but nonetheless I was barely able to stand the hour I spent in that vehicle. I left with a headache and a determination not to use Uhaul again.

Jack HankeI booked uhaul for Saturday morning. When I reached there I found that my truck was already given to another person using my details. My partner had to do the entire booking again. Lady at uhaul told me that she will follow up with this fraudulent activity. However, I continue to receive emails and updates about the booking that was supposed to be canceled on Saturday morning. I will not recommend getting a rental truck from this location in providence as the staff attitude was very careless and nonchalant.
Danial TahirTake the lock with green tape off before the customer leaves the lot. Then when they come to get the stupid key to unlock it..make sure you give them the right key. I wasted over 2,5 hours going back and forth to the location for a key. Then the next day U-Haul charged me again for going over on miles! Hilarious cause I used those EXtra miles going back and forth to the store for a dam key. Tell anyone coming to rent a truck go to another location. When I first pulled up an older women stopped me at the door and said if I wanted any service I have to park in the street. Mind the lot was Open! I was in a parking spot. I had someone waiting in my car. Just U-Haul needs to get rid of this location totally.

Then they gave me the wrong uhaul keys vs information on the one i was priced so had I not gone back inside, i would've been charged for a tank under 1/2 when it said it was full and been charged for using almost 90 000 miles because the one on the paper work said it had only 6 000
