When I made the reservation to add extra days I was informed that if returned earlier than planned and paid for extra days ahead of time, I would receive a refund for the extra charged days I did not need. Apparently that was a lie. I am very disappointed to be told one thing (on three separate occasions to make sure) then have that not happen. Why else would I have paid an extra $350 dollars. We arrived to our destination ahead of schedule and keeping the trailer wasn't an option either. Again extremely disappointed with the false information then how it was handled when returning.Sarah L.

Maintain better inventory of accessories. I reserved a furniture dolly but the location didn't have ant stock. While I didn't get charged, I also didn't have a piece of equipment I was counting on using.Kevin S.
Pick up location was inconvenient. Multiple locations closer, and U Haul closed one location where I was suppose to do the pick up 3 days before my move. What a disaster! The U Haul should have been able to be relocated to a closer destination.jason H.
Don't take a reservation that has a hand truck request if you don't have them in inventory. Hard to understand: if you had one to â€œsellâ€ to me (which we did), you had inventory to provide one to me with my reservation. Doesn't appear to be limited to your location â€¦ the Renton Uhaul did the same thing so I'm guessing it's just a way to sell a hand truck. Not great business though.Carreen F.

The U-Haul app hasn't been working for few weeks now so I couldn't do a self check I . The older gentlemen who works there in Saturday mornings, specifically on June 17, was very condescending and rude especially since I already had a full reservation, credit card on file and have signed all the waivers and acknowledgements. To the point that other people in line felt like they needed to apologize on his behalf. The younger people working there were great but I can definitely see him creating a toxic working environment for them. So I can see you guys having a lot of turn over there I. The future.Daiva T.

The office and people there were fine but Every time I need to call a Uhaul customer service, I have to wait a long time on hold. Sorry to say that but your website and app are awful! I had to extend the time for one hour because of a mistake in my contract, it tooks me one hour!!!Babak P.

I called the schedule center... My personal truck had to be tolled, as I was pulling a large smoker at the time. I asked to rent a truck for 5 days maby 6 days out of Kent. It was granted.... 20 minutes later I got a returned callback from UHaul ... the Lady told me I needed to pick it up from Tacoma... that wasn't possible at the time because of the location I was... She said they didn't have a truck in the Kent area for that long of a time. I asked to get it for one day, and I'll regroup the next day . Maybe my truck could be fixed, but for sure I can get to Tacoma the next day. ( She said No! Because she didn't trust that I would bring it back the next day because I had already asked for 6 days...) I asked her again.... and told her I would bring it back in the morning not a problem, ( she again said No, that she doesn't feel comfortable, because I wanted it for 6 days. I have rented trucks about 10 times last year, and I buy my propane from U haul... I knew the management by name at the Kent store. I asked my wife to call for the truck.... they said yes... she picked it up from Renton... I'm a black man.... she's a white woman... It really doesn't look good and didn't look good to all my customers standing there lessening at the time. Thank you Chef Willie WilliamsonWillie W.

I generally use Chevron UHaul in Bellevue and only chose this location since it stated "guaranteed availability" during the reservation process. 1. I was called the night before my scheduled pickup and told the trailer had been stolen and asked if I wanted to rent something else. I was offered a cargo van at a discounted rate since I needed a covered option due to inclement weather. 2. When I arrived to pick up the van I was told discounts weren't an option but that I would be comped the fuel as an alternative and just needed to return it with 1/4 of a tank. 3. I was directed to "row Q" which ended up being empty, so I had to search the lot for the van. 4. I dropped off the van six hours later (I had scheduled for 24) and still had over a half a tank of fuel in the van (I only needed to have a 1/4 tank) but was charged $45 for fuel regardless. 5. I called as soon as the receipt was emailed to me and got the recording that my wait time would be 20-30 minutes, so I replied to the email instead and received no response. 6. I had to waste time and fuel by driving back to the location to request the refund from the person who had offered it. I will never rent from this location again.Catina P.

The cargo van had so much dog fur and other debris on the chairs and in the back of the van. Upon pick up, I was never told that the gas tank must be returned with 7/8 of the tank full. I was given a cargo van with a little less than 3/4 of the tank full. The pick up associates were not communicative at all. And rather than addressing the gas situation with me upon drop off, I was charged $31 for not filling it up however the associate thought it should be. He got pretty aggressive in his tone with us when we tried to explain that we assumed we would return the van simply with the amount of gas that we received it with. We don't know about the 7/8 tank rule, it's not common knowledge. We got a refund after an awkward encounter and showing photo proof. The pricing was alright, the customer service was bad (online and at this location), and the truck was plain dirty and gross. I will just recommend going to a different location nearby.Ravleen K.

This location has usually been great. However, on this occasion they really let me down. I reserved a 27 foot truck. When I arrived I was told due to circumstances beyond their control they could only offer me a 10 foot truck. That really put me in a jam and had to rush to find a solution. They employees there at the time offered nothing to help make this right. Then in my rush I put more gas I. The vehicle than I needed and once again was just out of luck. Very bad experience. Still trying to get the rest of my stuff moved.Daniel T.

I've utilized this location before and I would imagine I will again. Turning in the vehicle was super fast and easy and they kindly let me use the truck an extra day.Paige S.
Truck cargo area was very dirty. The previous customer must have been moving yard waste or something because the floor was very wet and dirty with literal dirt, leaves, twigs, and other debris. Also, the blankets were not in the truck and I was not reminded to get them so I had to come back after I initially drove away. The assistant manager was very understanding and helpful and redeemed the experience overall.John M.

Usually we have a good experience. Not this time, the lady who checked us in did not explain anything except where the truck was, added safe movers protection without our permission and failed to tell us to get the moving pads we paid for that were outside. The truck smelled like smoke when opening the door, Check engine light was on and the truck felt like a death trap. When we explained upon returning the truck â€œ sorry it's been around a while and it's in it's last lifeâ€ then we were told we would get a receipt she could check it in, after we just fueled up to where the gas was when we got the truck we were slapped with a $25 fuel charge for 4 gallons. Check engine light on. Visor hanging down broken is a big safety hazard. Take the time to clean the glass. Button up the check in area and clean it thoroughly. On line check in is unclear. Do you go in and talk to someone? Did I miss a step?Sean A.
