Change the whole staff, all the people in the front desk were laughing and making discrimination jokes about one elderman who was with me, just because he doesn't understand English. 100% disrespectful attitude when I said he was with me no one said anything or at least apologized to us. I was angered by this so much that I spent my whole day feeling this way because of this disrespect. You should really do something about this, because those people acting that way could lead to lawsuits.

Employee was hostile during price discussion and refused to call a manager and decided to go inside store and press a silent alarm instead of calling police. When cops arrive they figure it this is a business issue and the u-haul manager magically appears when I was told he was on vacation and no one was in charge. Employee from the start appeared on some medication or narcotics. His reaction could have caused an escalation of events that were unnecessary. I will contacting the corporate office for a formal complaint.

The uhaul employees were very nice, BUT not thorough in going over the rental before leaving the lot. AND he forgot to pit the dolly in the back. Had to call and cancel the dolly.

Very accommodating as I rode my bike from home about 3.3 miles to pick up the truck, and due to me overestimating how long it would take, I arrived about 20 minutes prior to my reservation time. The guy who helped me said “no problem!” Truck ran well, looked like the oil change due light was on, that’s all.

I made a reservation to pick up a U-haul truck at Foothill Blvd location in Pasadena. I did not receive word that the reservation was changed to Rosemead Blvd. location in Rosemead. No phone call, and no e-mail received. Consequently we were behind by nearly 4 hours in getting to the necessary business of moving out of my condo, all while I had hired help on the payroll. Upon arrival at Rosemead Blvd. location, we were standing in line FOREVER, at least 30-40 minutes before my brother said something to someone. The line was NOT MOVING at all; there were 2-3 different families ahead of us, plus others behind us. When my brother said something, the person treated the matter as though it was no big deal. Again, we had hired help on stand by waiting to move me out, and this hold up shortly curtailed our time that we could use the help we were paying for. Apparently there had been a fraudster who was caught using falsified credit cards and Sheriff Dept. was there, and that was taking up everyone else's time, but still, you pull other personnel to assist when you see your store is full of waiting customers. Next, I needed to rent a truck, again, on May 2, 2019. I called early that morning, and my brother, allowed me to use his credit card to make the reservation. NOT AT ANY TIME WAS I TOLD THAT THE CARD WOULD NOT BE HONORED AND THAT I WOULD NEED TO PAY CASH $100.00 DEPOSIT IN ORDER TO GET THE Truck. Again, this put me behind by several, several hours on May 2, 2019. Your reservations center needs to impart this information to future customers about the credit card holder needing to be physically present at the time the customer presents at the store to rent the vehicle. Additionally, put adequate help on the desk at peak busy times so that you don't come off like the banks or the post office, putting only 1 person on the counter who has two speeds: 1. slow, and the other, 2. stop.

The truck itself was fine. Upon returning the truck however, an issue arose. I had to return the truck with gas filled between 1/4 and 3/8 as it shows on the contract. Issue is that as I was filling the truck, the gas gauge needle would not move to show me the gas level as I was filling. I was turning the ignition to the ON position (turned it on and off trying to get the needle to move, it would not move until I started the truck and began to actually drive). When I got back to the Rosemead blvd. location, I asked the guys there about this and what we can do. I was told that this was on me and that uhaul will do nothing when too much gas is added even thought this was an equipment fault. I re-iterated that the truck would NOT register the fill level until I started actually driving. Still, the worker did not care in the least and stated that I can talk to the manger, who of course was not there and they couldn't call the manager. I spent about $50 in gas that I did not use. This feels like a setup to get extra gas from your customers. It would be much easier on the customer to leave in a truck with a full tank and return it full as with a rental car. If you look at the contract, the truck was driven 13 miles. I don't know if you can or will do anything about this gas, but at the very least, your folks at this location need serious customer service training. Also, there is a lady that sits at one of the desks facing customers as they walk in, she looks at you and says absolutely nothing to you, even when I said hello, she just looked down. Yeah, customer service at this location is the worst that I have experienced in a long long time. Please help them.

Overall the service personnel at the site are friendly and good at their job. However, there is usually only one person at the counter helping customers, and a line of customers waiting for service. Also, the last time, the service person said he would email the final invoice, and he never did!

employee had all of the information to help me on my tow. he knew exactly what i would need. it did help and make my rental smooth. of course i would recommend to anyone trying to move a car tow trucks are really expensive

Changing pick up location from one U-Haul store to another (twice the distance away) the day before pick is annoying. It adds $$ to the mileage count, and leaves the customer with limited options for alternatives. You should identify options available/provided at each locale when Customer is booking. Though thanks for comping me the extra miles I had to drive to the new location.

Rental process needs to be done more efficiently. I had to provide 2 phone numbers for referral and had to wait for the rep to verify them via a direct call to each number as additional proof. This on top of the CA ID card and a credit card!! This is too long and bothersome! I told the rep helping me that I never had this happen before and was told it was the new procedure for rental. If this is the case, it really stinks!! I took me 20 minutes to get all this squared away and another 15 to get my equipment!! THIS IS TOO LONG OF A PROCESS! A credit card and CA ID should be enough!

The facility specifically could be a little more organized in terms of parking and going in and out. It's very confusing and out of place the way entrance and exits are set up as well as pick up and return lanes. Otherwise customer service is excellent.

The mobile pick up instructions were not correct. The key was not on the truck latch in the back, it was against the building. If I were to pickup without the uhaul employee on site, I would be lost.

Great service, no hassle, short wait time, maybe 10 minutes the most, the 26 footer was clean & easy to drive. Use caution when making right turn, & back-up. Highly recommend to anyone. The price wasn't too bad, it's won't burn a hole in your wallet. Keep up w' the good serviice. P.S. The only problem, was lack of space for nite drop-off.

This was the fourth location I went to for a pick up, the location in Downey had a tow dolly but the guy had taken off for the weekend and no one at the location could rent it to us, went to a location and Pico to find a trailer that was already reserved he sent us to one off the 10 East of the 605 and said they would have one for us there we got there and it was local only and not one way, they sent us to this location on Rosemead where we picked it up.

There needs to be more room to drop off after hours The 1st vehicle parked at the very beginning (you have a sign saying dont block the driveway) of the row thus causing me to park with my tail stopping into the sidewalk area. Post a sign saying to pull forward ffor after hours drop off? Thanks

I rented a dolly but unfortunately turn out I didn't need it after all. Your rep did not offer to give me the $10 Credit or 50% Credit. He just said sorry. I returned the truck before 6pm. I only used 31 miles. I even added more gas to the tank. It would be nice if your rep offer some kind of credit.

Rented a 10’ truck with mobile pick up. Was unable to pick up vehicle due to the information prompted on the mobile website was incorrect. Did not receive the correct codes for the assigned truck. Photos on mobile prompt didn’t even sync up with the lock type that was at this location. Called phone support and rep was unable to help, and confirmed that I was giving incorrect info and wouldn’t be able to pick up the truck until the next day. Paid $60 of a cab round trip to leave with no truck and no progress on my move. This location, with the combination of the failed CSR makes me never want to rent from u-haul again.
