Better lighting and a more clearly defined drop off area would help. It may have just been that the lot was very full when our truck was dropped off. I did not go inside or interact with the staff at drop off, so I gave an excellent rating to not be unfair.

The employees steal your stuff if you leave it by accident. It wasn't even 30 minutes when I realized I accidentally left my step ladder inside the van. I called and talked top Carlos and he said that he would get back to me, he never did. I called numerous of times and every time I reached the call center not the store on Vance Jackson. I'm in disbelief. It didn't take a minute for them to take it. Carlos asked me where the truck was parked upon returning the van. I explained to him where and he debated with me. I know where exactly the van got parked. Excuses is all I got from this man. If you needed a step ladder just let me know instead of lying and debating with a paying customer

Pleasant person who handled my rental. He was alone and obviously needed some help. Had to wait about 40 minutes to get the trailer I needed. Returned it in two hours, but the return time on the receipt showed I returned it the next day????? Got a text and an email saying I would be charged additional funds if I did not return the trailer. So I got to spend an hour trying to talk with someone and explain that I had already returned it. Do not understand how or why this happened. Attention to details U-HAUL.... would make people a lot happier.

The outside of the van was a bit dirty, but the inside was very clean

I had already called over 6 weeks prior to move in date to make arrangements for the moving truck and a trailer to use. Told them the model and make of my truck and got quoted a price, and was under the impression everything was fine. I went the week prior to leaving to purchase boxes and I thought I would just pay for the uhaul then so I wouldn’t have to worry about it later. That’s when I was informed that my truck would not fit on any trailer they had in inventory. So instead of having 6 weeks to plan an alternative I ended up having to get a friend to take off work and drive it from Texas to Mississippi, so paying another $200 in gas then provide a $300 plane ticket for that person to fly back to Texas just to get my vehicle there. On top of maintenance for the vehicle last minute to get it ready for a cross country drive. All-in-all their misinformation cost me a little over $1,000. Whereas if I was told ahead of time I could have made alternate arrangements such as hiring a company to transport the vehicle. Plane tickets would have been considerably cheaper or I could have looked into other arrangements. Luckily will never be using this location again but it put a poor taste in my mouth entirely.

It was a busy morning pickup and the employees looked exhausted and it was only 8am...when I dropped the truck off around 6p it seemed like it had been a long day for everyone. There just wasn’t any customer service more like processing.

Our truck was not inspected when we got it. It got a flat tire as soon as we got it off the lot. So we came back and they guy there got us a new one. Then when we turned it back in, we waited in a very long line. When we got to the front, the cashier told us a guy with a hand-held device would help us. He was unable to check us out, so he told us we would have to go back to the long line. We ended up just leaving and I contacted customer service. This was the most unprofessional u-haul experience and I will not be returning back to that location ever again.

My experience was horrible. My original pick up place was changed to another office that closed at 4 pm - my pick up was at 4 pm. Then I had to wait about an hour only to learn they didn't have a truck either and I was sent to a third location. Dealing with U-Haul was the hardest part of my move.

I was told when I rented the Uhaul that I would have the truck for 4 hours when I booked it. When I went to the store to pick up the truck, I was told I only had 2 hours and I about 15 minutes had been wasted already because there weren't enough workers to help everyone in a timely manner. I was late returning the truck because I didn't have the time I thought I was going to have. The truck was great but that was hard to deal with when we didn't know we had such little time.

Trailer came fresh from maintenance in good shape, but one tire not well tested - good tread but OLD rusty rim (should have been refurbished first) and so it went flat when we loaded car - returned short distance to pickup location got spare installed. One worker overwhelmed by demand, 2 minimum needed, 3 advised, long waits

I did not get an opportunity to rate my last rental at this location, but the service experience was essentially the same. First of all, it seems like the location is meagerly staffed, so I waited quite a while to be attended to. The person helping me out (both visits, actually) seemed like they did not want to be there and bothered that they needed to help me. On my visit to return the trailer, there were eight people in line! I tried to return my trailer using the UHaul app but the app would not find my location. I was told that the apps ability to do so is "hit or miss." Pretty frustrating to have to wait for so long to return my rental. I would only recommend this location to a friend for the price and convenience.

The tires were all low, & had to have them aired up before we left. That happened with UHaul before for me too. Tires are the things you should be checking as #1 priority before the customer takes the vehicle.

The only problem that I have is that it's been about 3 or 4 days and I still don't have the remainder of the $100 deposit that was taken from me. In addition I spent lots of time on hold and been disconnected before speaking to anyone 3 times. Then I called the number listed on the U-Haul website for customer service regarding these type of issues and was speaking to someone who had absolutely no knowledge of what we could do to expedite this what could the location do to expedite this never reassured me that this issue would be resolved quickly in fact I felt like I was speaking to someone it may have been taking a bubble bath at the time I have serious concerns for the after the move process of payment and refund

The truck was the worst piece of equipment I’ve ever rented from Uhaul. I’ve never seen Uhaul rent a vehicle out 100k miles, let alone a large moving truck about to drive 1100+ miles. The truck was burning oil (made the interior smell the entire drive), the brakes struggled stopped the truck when it was empty, and drank gas worse than any other Uhaul truck I’ve driven. I sincerely hope Uhaul considers removing that truck from the fleet or at least not renting it to someone on a 17+ hour drive.

All 4 tires on the auto transport were in bad shape but it was the only working trailer they had (the other was missing a ramp). 1 tire blew out during my drive, which turned a one day trip into a two day trip.

u-Haul Corporate can LOWER it's rates.... Face it folks - you took was was once affordable rentals and made them non-affordable. Fewer people are using your rentals than ever before - and it will get worse. Now; folks ONLY rent from you when they no longer have options..... About 100 years ago a very rich man commented that a dime cannot roll as far as a Nickle can... you need to figure out what he meant.

This location is a Charlie Foxtrot. It is super cramped with equipment, to the point pick up and drop off is almost impossible. The employee there is great! Just a lot to do for one person. It’s just not an ideal location. The equipment like bigger trucks and trailers should be returned and/or located at bigger locations.

I reserved a 26' van, but didn't need it and tried to get a smaller truck, but staff said none were available, even though there was a parking lot full of them. Said I would need to "hang around for trucks to start coming in". Didn't even ask what size I wanted. Truck was very old with a lot of miles on it. Horn was not working, reverse light out, and smelled of overheating. I informed staff of deficiencies.
