The trailer and or moving blankets I was given had bed bugs which infested my furniture. very disappointed that the equipment was not cleaned properly to prevent this.

This is the third time I've used this location and every time it is WAY under staffed. When I picked up the truck in the morning there was only one employee trying to cover everything. Running in and out dealing with the counter trying to check out vehicles and equipment. Not a good experience. A line of people on a Saturday and only one person working. I felt sorry for that guy! Then when I returned the truck in the afternoon same thing different employee. Only one person working. Trying to check people in, check people out…it was a mess! Busy Saturday and you're only going to staff the place with one person all day!?!?! Not good for the customer or the employee!

When I returned the trailer, your employee disconnected the trailer and asked if I wanted a receipt or if an email receipt would be ok. I said an email would be fine. About 3 hours later, I received a voice message asking me when I was planning to return the trailer. As it was after business hours when I picked up the message, I reached your main number and was told there was no record of my return. I checked online, and there was no indication that I had returned the trailer there either. I assume this has been corrected now, but it caused me needless worry and a lot of time waiting on hold to make what had been a very pleasant rental experience into a very stressful and disappointing one.

PLEASE make sure that customers understand that they must have a functional smartphone to be able to return equipment after hours and avoid a 20 $convenience fee! Had I known about that penalty I would have simply waited for the location to open in the morning rather than leave the truck there at night and use the key drop slot. As it was I read the drop-off instructions that were sent to my flip-phone AFTER I had returned my truck at night. As a result I turned up at 7am, wishing to avoid the 20 $"convenience" charge. Having made that clear, I would like to commend the staff at the Ventura Thompson Blvd. location for being courteous and efficient in all other respects!

The young men working at this facility were quick, courteous, and kind. Their efficiency got me on the road faster than any rental facility I have ever used, & my return of the equipment went even faster. Excellent service. Great facility.

I had a great experience with my truck rental at Ventura UHaul. The telephone system however, is not at all customer friendly when attempting to contact the rental location. 20-30 minute wait and zero contact on 2 call attempts. I was running late on the return and wished to notify the store. The return process was quick, painless the final cost reasonable. I met two staff members, both were fast, effeicant and personable. Will use uHaul again. Thank you for do your job very well.

The appliance dolly was not available, even though I reserved it and confirmed. I was forced to drive 12 miles to the next location to get the dolly. This should be regulated better. I did appreciate mileage and gas fee was waves. Disappointed I not only had to pick up but drop off the dolly at the location that was extremely out of the way.

First, the trailer I reserved was not available and I was not notified about the change until I arrived at the facility. The staff member was helpful and accommodating offering a different trailer. The trailer was not clean ( it had quite a bit of gravel and dirt). I also reserved an appliance dolly and like the original trailer reservation they did not have an appliance dolly for me. The staff was great but I reserved two items and was notified that one was not available as I was standing in line and the second item, I was never notified about.

I suggest you define for customers what dings on trucks need to be documented, for example dents, and scratches longer than 3 inches. And if you can put stickers on all the dings ahead of time. This will speed up the customer check out process now that we have to do it via our phones without a U-Haul person.

Van had a lot of dog hair so didn't make me feel comfortable about it being clean Location was good but the customer service reps were the worst. Kept quoting me wrong prices and telling my I was wrong about what they said. On hold FOREVER too!

Well they could at the very least have a clean windshield.my windshield was dirty. I'm 5'4”. Couldn't wash it myself. And wash the truck. My truck was dirty. But the manager blew out the back of truck. That was nice. For 345.00. It was a rip off. Sorry 😞

I get nervous when I see wads of electrical tape on the trailer hookups. No problems arose with the lights, but the hitch receiver scuffed my hitch ball really bad too.

I purposfully did the mobile pickup to avoid having close contact with others due to the pandemic. When I went to pick up the truck, the mobile site said that there was no equipment assigned to my reservation. I had to wait around for someone to return a truck. Luckily it was under an hour, but still, it's not cool that 1: the mobile pickup wasnt properly handled 2: my equipment wasnt ready for me and 3: I had to wait around for a truck.

Very surprised to get excellent service from u-haul. I have been to the Oxnard location on Saviers road and that place is always a hassle and make me wait an hour in line, the Ventura location was excellent no issues very fast service I would go there instead.

The website was difficult to maneuver and when I called it was a 20 minute wait. We tried to change to a drop off / 1-way when we arrived, but the employees said we could not change it as we had already signed up for round trip - crazy that we couldn't make a change. When we got to Uhaul, we needed some work done on the hitch and your people said it would take 2 hours. So my husband took the truck home, did it in 5 minutes and returned to pickup. Overall the guys were nice but the procedures and website were not user friendly or interested in servicing the customer.

Waited in store, 3,5 hours in the store for box to be prepared due to scheduled pick up not be entered correctly. Requested to speak with Store Manager and have not received response. RIDICULOUS!

The manager, Anthony, gives 5-star service. However, this location's setup is not optimal for long-term storage. If you primarily need moving services, it's a great choice! Great people.
