Very old trucks. Bid noise. No proper instructions on how to open the truck back door. Old lock difficult to unlock without proper instruction. While unlocking we have to pull down the lock hardly.

Not being a Nashville native, I can't say whether or not this particular day was extremely busy, or normal. There were several customers such as myself picking up trucks and trailers. The staff was very knowledgeable and worked through each customer quickly and professionally.

In Broomfield I was told to “call the TN location when you get there and let them know you're dropping off”. Called the number for that location. It was a ‘general U-Haul CS number'. Was on hold for 17 minutes listening to annoying U-Haul propaganda. Then it rang through and I was hung up on. Upon arriving the sign said ‘Stop, stay here, stay in your vehicle and wait ‘. Sitting in a parking lot, staring into the abyss, hoping that “eventually some one ‘may' notice im here so that I can move on with my busy day and not be here for hours” is a stressful and frustrating thing for a customer.

Overcharged. I returned the unit at 2:30pm and staff was busy watching their mobile phones and very uninterested in helping my return. I was told they would forward final receipt to email. Final receipt showed up at 6:53pm and I was charged for 2 days. Check your cameras if you need proof when I showed up. I'm disputing the total charge on my AMEX. Give me a break. Terrible. Never renting here again.

The food stains, crumbs, dirt stains, etc. were shocking. I called customer service to report all of these problems. The app would not allow me to upload photos to dispute the scratches, paint impacts, & sent a on the exterior. Customer service said there were no other vehicles available at that location so I had to take the dirty truck with a low tire 34, 33, 32, ...21psi. During dropoff, I reported that the vehicle needs to be cleaned. Uhaul's app decided to charge me for the dirty vehicle that was clearly Uhaul's fault. I stated that I would be filing a dispute with Discover and reviewing TCA & USC to identify the appropriate regulatory agency and file a regulatory complaint. Thanks, Will Ward willward@mit.edu

Moving is so stressful and challenging but From beginning to end every person we worked with was amazing! So nice to have customer service personnel who treat customers like they matter! Great Job U-Haul!

The trucks need to be cleaned. The young man behind the counter wasn't nice or helpful. He just stared at me and barely said two words. He told me he didn't have a truck for me despite the online reservation. I had to point out that they had several trucks sitting outside before he changed my reservation and gave me one.

When we got there we still had to call road side assistance to fix the tow dolly that did damage to our car. Long wait but they helped us with trading out for a car hauler since the tow dolly was defective. Did damage to our car. Very concerned people.

I think all vehicles should be cleaned on the inside of the cab with proper disinfectant always but especially during these times with Covid-19. I spent an hour cleaning and disinfecting the inside of the vehicle and it was still very dirty but I knew it was at least germ free.

I dropped my trailer off on Sunday when we were done but it was not checked in by the employee who helped me. I noticed something was awry when I did not have a receipt in my email inbox the next day. I called and was on hold for 20 minutes before I was able to talk to a live person. This person told me I could check my rental status online but I told them that I believe that the employee did not sufficiently check in the trailer I dropped off. She did not seem to believe me but eventually made a note that she would send a note to that location. I asked for a call back when the issue was resolved and she said she could not guarantee that because uhaul was "busy." Uhaul simply does not do customer service well. My trailer was confirmed to be dropped off several hours later with no call back.

Employees were a pitiful group of dunces. They were not wearing their anti-CoVid masks correctly. They could not locate key to my rental vehicle when I first arrived at my reservation time. The employees clearly enjoy a collegial camaraderie, but they are not in any remote way professional. Also, my rental vehicle interior was filthy, with a nasty scent throughout the cab, and dashboard indicators noted neglected tire pressure and monitoring software system problems. Cargo area of my rental van was soiled with dry and wet soilage and what appeared to be the occasional smear of a substance strongly resembling feces. The rental van ultimately met my needs at a reasonable cost for short- term use, but the overall experience was tremendously off-putting.

I wasn't notified when my U-Box arrived at the facility. I had to follow up to see where it was, and it turned out that it was delivered as scheduled, but I was not texted as was supposed to happen. Otherwise, everything was great and the staff at the facility was extremely professional and helpful.

They block off most of the parking with too many trucks. They didn't know anything about my online order when I came to pickup and claimed there was no such thing as the plastic moving boxes I had rented until I pointed out the stacks of them they were using to hold up their credit card readers. On return there was no one working inside the location at all. I had been there for 15 minutes without finding anyone and the breakroom and office doors were wide open so I was just about to call the police thinking the had been robbed and the employees taken or something when a person with a nametag that read "Jared - Owner" came in. He said he was the only one working at the place that day so couldn't be inside. Then when I told him I had the boxes to return he didn't even want to take them. He was the rudest most unhelpful person I've ever met and that's saying something since I'd already experienced the staff at this location. If this guy is the owner you need to buy back the franchise immediately before he ruins your reputation.

I believe you should be honest and upfront about all charges. There shouldn't be any last minute panic because you need the truck and the price is going up between rental and reservation. Your customers deserve better.

The young man I dealt with was rude and had an attitude he advised I had to fold and stack the blankets/pads I had rented or he would charge me a. Service fee. I question him on this and he insisted claiming it was printed on the wall inside the trailer -not so-after folding and stacking I ask if there was anything else he advised no and then unhooked the trailer I said the he just stared at me a m d said nothing I told him you are welcome. Clearly an unhappy employee not suited for meeting the public He needs training or a new assignment

Tail lights did not work on the trailer. Obviously the trailer was not checked when it was returned by previous renter. I was told there was a blown fuse in our truck. The fuses were checked, but there was no blown fuse. There was no problem with the truck. An hour after we arrived the trailer was changed. After another half hour, we were on our way. Too much time was taken to determine the problem. The trailers should be checked when the trailers are returned. And, there should be a way to check the truck output at the light connection. We were late for an appointment. You have a good system. It's easy to reserve and easy to return. There seemed to be a lot of disorganization at the pickup location. They were also very busy.

Everyone (excluding a gentle man named Michael) was absolutely horrible. The female - not wearing a name tag or mask when she entered and wouldn't give her name, but appeared to be the "manager" was extremely disrespectful to myself and several other customers stating "boy, there's some f*cking characters in here today". She yelled - and I mean yelled, at a customer to "keep social distancing standards" which he was complying with, then kept yelling at him to move to the other side of the store even though he was waiting to talk to an associate that was near him. She was yelling at this customer however wasn't requiring her staff to wear masks - which are currently under mandate in our city. I asked a few questions during the check-in process in which she responded rudely to stating "I'm not fighting with you on the process, this is how we do it" when I was simply asking a question to clarify. In addition, when the transaction was finished she looks at me and goes "yeah, you don't need receipt do you?" which I did as this was going on a business credit card and we needed documentation of the expenditure - she huffed and puffed as she went about printing the receipt. When she passed me the printed receipt I asked where to go to get my vehicle, she wouldn't respond to me and instead called the next customer. When I asked again, she called the next customer yet again and told me she was "done with me" she had been so rude throughout the process that I finally told her she needed to be respectful, answer questions and assist the U-haul customers when they had questions and to hold every patron to the same Covid-19 health standards. I'm ASTONISHED at how rude she was. I always try to be very, very respectful to any associate. I have no idea why she treated everyone the way she did. Thankfully, a nice gentleman named Michael assisted me in finding my rental, checking it over, and moving the vehicle that was blocking it since the woman inside wouldn't even tell me how to identify the truck I had rented. I've NEVER had that poor of customer service in the dozens of times I've rented from U-haul.

This is my first time EVER leaving a review for anywhere, but the experience here is something that U-Haul should be absolutely appalled about. I am also confident this is not the only complaint you will receive about this location today as every single person in the store while I was there said they would be leaving the same.

The trailer did not close all the way. When we picked it up the door was not closed all the way, but we didn't think anything of it. Once it was packed and we were trying to close the door it still wouldn't go down all the way. It was going to take an hour and a half for someone to come look at it and we were not able to wait that long so we just rigged something up carefully so we could make the trip.
