The customer service at this location is totally lacking. Girl who checked me in had her feet propped up in the chair for customers and didn't move so that I could sit. They were not accommodating when I needed to change my reservation. Then when I returned the trailer website check in was only set up for trucks with mileage. Spent over an hour on hold with trying to check in vehicle. Was called 3 days after trailer returned asking where the trailer was. I had already talked to 3 customer representatives and was told the location was notified but yet it took them 3 days to check it in. After this experience I have no intention of ever using uhaul again.Cassie B.

The trailer I initially rented I believe was given to another customer, and it was just lucky that after I had already checked in and paid, someone was returning a trailer and I was able to get it. Trailer light we're not working even though a worker "checked" the light. I found that the trailer side harness was all split with bare wire and shorted together. This wiring Is extremely dangerous cause it blew my trucks tail lamp fuse. Luckily the fuse did it's job but still a possibility for a vehicle fire. This trailer needs to get fixedJason N.

We filed an official complaint well over a week ago about this experience and never heard back from U-Haul about it. Long story short- we had a reservation for a 15' truck to pick up at this location. We drove from Georgia to pick up some furniture and arrived at this location at 940am, our pick up time was 10am. The owner told us he didn't have a 15' truck for us but could give us a 10' one if we could come back in an hour. We weren't sure a smaller one would work but said as long as it didn't have wheel wells in the cargo area, we would try it. We left and came back and sure enough, it had wheel wells, making the cargo area not a flat surface. **THERE were MULTIPLE trucks on the yard at this time, some bigger than 15' PLUS a 15'** The owners exact words were, "this truck [10' one] belongs in Atlanta" and "I can't have that [15' truck] going north" After almost THREE hours of trying to get a truck we finally drove off the lot with our 15' truck that we should have had to start with. The owner obviously wanted to keep his larger trucks local, but that isn't how U-Haul works. Wasted so much of our time on a very busy scheduled trip.Dennis L.

We were originally set to drop off on a location 3546 S Military Trail, however the store refused because he was no longer dealing with Uhaul, we had to travel an additional five miles to drop off. After being on the phone for 55 mins with uhaul, to speak with someone to helps in getting the truck to a different place; what should haven the easiest part of this particular instance ended up being the most upsetting thing. My suggestion is remove him from your list so someone else doesn't have to experience what we did.Diana K.

Rude employees, worst truck that I have ever drive. The steering wheel did not respond as it should, driver door hard to close, truck back door really heavy ( I weigh 200 pounds and had to use all my weight to make the door come down), side mirrors stuck and not able to adjust. In the end had rented for 24h and used way less and got my car doing multiple trips to finish what I could have done in 2 just because I did not felt safe in that one. Clerk was on her phone on a personal call on speaker while I was waiting to be helped, clearly not paying attention as she assigned a vehicle to me that was not on the lot, the whole process too far longer than was needed. I was uncomfortable at the location the entire time and was even questioned about how much money I made by one of the employees based on his perception of my line of work. The only good part of this experience was the general manager of the location coming out, personally fixing everything and getting me on my way, for him I was grateful.LONNY R.

I returned the eqpt at 8 pm (after closing), took pictures of the eqpt and called your office to confirm that I did not have to do anything else. I was told that staff would process it in the morning. Later that day I received my receipt and it showed that I was charged for 2 days because they did not process the trailer until 10:21 am (the next day). I had to spend over 50 min on the phone with one of your reps to have her correct it. I was finally issued a refund but told that it would take up to 5 days to show up on my credit card. I find the whole situation unacceptable because I did everything I was supposed to do and wasted close to 1 hr of my time to retrieve $28.31. My guess is that most of your customers probably don't bother because of the hassle...Doris L.

This vehicle was full of roaches. I catered an event and used your van, and some of the food had roaches in it. The back break lights didn't work so, I had to find someone to drive behind me so that I didn't get a ticket.connie T.
this was my worst experience ever dealing with any company in this country. U-Haul is the most customer and friendly and headache nightmare really company to ever do business with in every way I will send to four different locations just to pick up because no coordination is all different phone wraps that I talk to and to drop off the equipment was even worse way worse I spent two days on the phone literally hours of my work time which is loss of money for me so counting from that and driving around again losing a day of traveling a whole day late because I was driving to 40 from locations on my gas and my time to pick up the equipment and calling for hours being hung up on the phone by a different reps made my experience with U-Haul as a whole the worst ever ever ever ever ever ever I would never recommend any ever this company to anyone you should be out of business you don't deserve business from customers U-Haul shame shame shame on you all the way you deserve to be out of business I will never ever ever ever ever recommend you to anyone for anything shame on you U-HaulCheikh D.

The main problem I had was the type of truck I reserved was not Available until about 45 minutes late. There was none in the lot & I had to wait for one to be turned in. This is the second time that this has happened in the last couple months. This is unacceptable once bad luck, twice there is a problem that needs to be addressed & fixed.Walter S.
First off I reserved a trailer at the Palm Beach Gardens lot. Then 2 days later they told me they had no trailer so they sent me to west palm beach. The trailer they had for me the lights did not work so they gave me another trailer. When asked if I could return the trailer to my original lot they said no I need to return it to same place. The truck we rented was pretty dirty on the inside even though the representative who did the walk around with me said, "Yep, that's clean." I called customer service to explain that when I came to drop the trailer the employee made me wait for more then 30 mins to take the trailer. And now they want to charge me 2 days...the guy on the phone is extremely rude...and hung on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. My phone number is 5614241273Lucas B.
I rented a 6x12 utility trailer. The trailer was very dirty, which would have been as simple as sweeping it off with a broom (which I did when I made it home.) The gentleman who "connected" the trailer to my truck did not do it properly, as he was too busy telling me how he was the best worker at the location. He neglected to latch the trailer to the hitch ball. Once I made it home and went to load the trailer, it came off the ball. Luckily it didn't damage my vehicle, or else this would have been a totally different discussion. The gentleman also neglected to latch the rear gate on the trailer, and the gate dropped less than half of a mile from the location. I then hand to pull over and realize neither of the securing pins were in the gate. Again, luckily the gate did not fall on a vehicle behind me. I was forced to come to this location as the location I originally rented from did not have the equipment. The woman behind the counter was very nice and helpful, however, if the people in the yard cannot connect equipment properly, they are putting many people at risk. I will not be going back here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.Richard S.

The general manager Kevin accused me of cutting the straps on a tow trailor. Had to go all the way back to get them to fix it and then was accused of doing it myself. As I explained to Kevin the straps were broken before I even loaded the trailor. He was a total ass hole and when I started to leave he yelled Fuck You. So I'm still waiting on his supervisor to contact me.William M.
Horrible experience. staff at the West Palm Beach Okeechobe Blvd were not friendly, disorganized and lack customer service manners. Gave me false information regarding truck with wrong gas level and wrong odometer reader. Car had sensor error messages for tire sensor and battery showing in dash and dash screen which hid the milage so I couldn't verify. Truck was poorly maintained and kept making weird noises while driving! I used truck for 10 miles and ended up getting charged for 200 plus dollars! Not using Uhal again unless this gets resolved.Mina T.
