The staff at the uhaul facility were completely unhelpful. They tried to over charge me as well as deny my transaction outright. Then when I called the customer support, they tried to say the call center I was directed to didnt carry the same weight as them. If i didnt have to use a uhaul to move today, I would have left. Next time I will find other means to move my belongings. I have no intention of using uhaul again.

This location is always understaffed causing waits. The helpful young man that unhooked my trailer today was looking for help, didn't have his phone because the battery was dead, but borrowed a phone and took care of me anyway. He was apparently 2 hours past his shift.

The reservation was supposed to be for 65th street, but after checkout it switched it on me without warning. I had to pay an extra 10 dollars in miles and 25 on ubers to and from.

I will never use UHaul again. I submitted online on January 2nd for a truck rental which is 4 miles from the house I was moving from and 2 days before the date to pick up I get a call that I had to pick up a truck like 15 miles from my house. I could understand if I requested a truck a day or so before pickup but this was over two weeks before. Then they allotted me72 miles to my destination (Modesto) and before I even got to Modesto it used up my allotted miles. Unbelievable!

Took over an hour to pick up my vehicle! Only one employee who was hopelessly inefficient. Repeatedly failed to realize that vehicle she was attempting to check out to customer ahead had not been checked in.

This location was unorganized and under-staffed. The Van I reserved was not available, it took over an hour to get my rental Van and over 6 hours to access my UBox Containers. Employees constantly lied about policies and practices because they were not trained properly and had no real management and/or supervision.

The workers were very friendly and knowledgeable, but they need more people helping customers and/or cleaning trucks. The wait to pick up and check in the truck we reserved was too long. Then we had to wait while the truck we reserved was cleaned out. The truck was very clean, though, and worked well.

the location itself isn't ideal (I wouldn't leave your car there when it's dark for sure), but the car was clean and staff were excellent; they were friendly and easy to work with. Likely outside the control of individual Uhaul locations, I would suggest that the gas meters better match the level of detail provided on the truck. For example, the truck I rented only had a halfway mark between empty and full, yet the form that describes how much gas is in the truck was to the 1/16 of a tank... This is really hard to get an accurate reading. I didn't get penalized and the staff at my location was easy to work with on this, so I didn't have any problems, but it's just shady as a company and likely up to the discretion of the person helping you. If I hadn't had such great customer service and understanding staff, the actual tank before and return would be difficult to dispute to the 1/16th of a tank when you hare only given a half tank mark on the truck.

The staff here were so friendly and helpful. Very quick to help us and very professional. The gentlemen who checked in the truck listened to our concerns about the drop off location and was kind enough not to charge us extra for gas since the pick up location had misstated the amount in the tank when we picked up the truck. I would definitely rent from this location and wish we could have picked up the truck here.

worst experience I've had there yet. I manage a wedding venue and we use vans from this facility about 10-20 times a year. I made a reservation over the phone and received a confirmation email. the gentleman I met with to pick up said "oh, we were supposed to call you earlier. we don't have a truck for you. but you can drive to elk grove to pick up one in a different size. we are out of the size you requested." I had ubered there originally and did not have another ride so I spent $45 on another uber to elk grove. I will be looking for a different rental company in the future.

Computer was down nationwide, so it took an hour to get our vehicle. We tried on our cell phone, but instructions were confusing. By the time we figured out the phone, the in store computer was working. I would have given a higher rating if not for the computer glitch. Employee on site was as helpful as she could be under the circumstances.

The staff on site was great. Processed me quickly even though I was a walk-in. They hooked up the trailer for me and made sure it was properly secured and lights working fine. When I returned the next day they were just as pleasant and I was done with my return in less than 15 minutes, Will definitely use them again.

Pick was fast and service was excellent. The 5x8 needed a wash. Tires looked like they needed to be replaced which gave concerned since I was driven over 2000 miles. However, the trailer behaved very well and no flat tires.

This location needs more help. When I was in there there were 4 people in line and 1 person behind the desk. My Reservation was for 9 am and I didnt pick up the trailer till 10. Customer service was great, very apologetic for the wait. This isnt the first time I had to wait to get help at this location.

This was the worst rental experience I have ever had. The staff was completely incompetent as I was kept waiting for an hour for them to figure out how to refund me $20 for equipment that was not included in the truck when we took delivery. We are moving out of the area and will be greatly surprised if I actually receive a refund check. The initial rental agent couldn’t get 3 different credit cards of mine to work, I believe due her refusing to verify my correct billing address. I just received an email of the rental return receipt which also has the incorrect refund amount listed.

Update your trucks! The truck was an extremely old make, had no tail lights, driver door was hard to close, outside body had damage and I spent way to much of my own time taking pictures of it because I was told I’d be charged for it if I didn’t. Paulette was extremely rude! I’ll take my business elsewhere in future.

They could not rectify the problem Created by oklahoma dealer with tech support or 2 Transportation phone calls. I sat 1.5 hours for Ihaul screw ups. Plus paid for tank of fuel in excess also insured wrong truck the the idiots charge me 20 for late fee when I returned it at 11:04 am 6 days early.

During my pick up an associate with the dispatch called me from phone number 209-647-3695. She told me my reservation was for 12:00 a.m. which it was not and I have the reservation email confirmation on my phone which clearly states that I was picking up at 10:00 am. returning at 3:00 p.m. I found this to be alarming and she was rude as if I made a mistake. It also sent me into a state of fear until the agent at the office said they had a truck for me to rent. No one deserves to be told they made a mistake on the reservation when in fact it was your agent that made the mistake. Bad customer service on that end; however the agent at the store was nice. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance such as sending my reservation email to confirm her mistake for training purposes. There are many choice of rental truck companies out there so assuring that your agents do not cause your customers to panic would be a move for the better.
