The check out service was very slow it took me an hour total to get hitched and checked out. After being hitched and almost ready for check out the gentleman told be the trailer was not in his inventory and I would have to in hitch and get a different trailer. The lady was great who hitched me up twice. But she was all alone taking care of everyone alone outside cause the guy couldn’t.

store personnel showed up a half hour late opening the store the trailer had dirt and rocks in the bottom of it from a previous renter very dissatisfied with this location and Rental you can call me for further information and my disappointment

First, my daughter and I both thought the person renting the van seemed "impaired" or at least unable to focus. The interior of the van was dirty and had a rotting orange under the seat. I had the van for 1-2 hrs and returned it to the same person I rented it from. He asked if I wanted a receipt emailed to me and I said that was fine and left. After returning it I spent more total time on the phone speaking with 7 different people at various Uhaul depts. over the next 3 days than time I actually had the rental. Apparently the location did not check in the van when I returned it (and/or some additional glitches) so I continued to get calls and texts telling me it was overdue despite speaking with customer service. Initially, the location manager said the mileage at 100 miles (which is impossible in the time I had it) when I put on 6 miles. All told I was being charged $99.95 for a $19.95 rental. Finally a partial refund was provided but ultimately the location manager refused to speak to me any further on the phone after I contacted customer service stating "I didnt want to talk to her" which is ludicrous since I was trying to call her because she never called me back. While understandably frustrated I was never anything but civil to everyone I spoke to. In the end customer service did finally refund the additional correct amount so that I paid what was due. However this entire experience is way more work than any customer should have to endure to not be overcharged for a simple rental. Contract No. 27797262

Staff is not well trained waited 2 hours to get to front of line to be told that they will not be taking walk ups. Irritated I left and started a rental on line to florin road location who called me to inform that they didn't have my 20' rental and rebooked me for a nearby 20' which actually was vandalized and could not rent only for me having to take a lift from florin road back to West Sacramento to rent 20' from there which took additional hour. 4 hours to get a U-Haul ridiculous. Worst for my return which I was not having that line again. The lot was full and I couldn't even pull in for check out for at least 15mins used the web app for check out. Then a employee stops me in the middle of self check out to address fluid coming from rental I assumed it was the ac as I had it on. Then there was the snarky remark of "we will see". The worst U-Haul experience of my life I will be rethinking about renting from U-Haul again for next move.

Received a text message asking to confirm my reservation by calling a number. Called the number and was put on/off hold for 15 minutes. Received an email that my reservation was confirmed in the middle of the phone call even though I didn’t give any information. Hung up. Not sure why I needed to waste my time calling just to confirm - why can’t this be done online? Or have the phone properly staffed if you’re gonna have people calling just to confirm every reservation? Made a reservation for a 15ft truck for Saturday at 8am, was told it didn’t matter when I came by to pick it up that it would be reserved. Showed up at 10am, reservation was cancelled without warning and I was told that trucks were not reserved ved. Luckily ended up renting a 10ft truck instead, but will steer clear of UHaul in the future :/

Like most Uhaul locations, this one was adequate. The staff was slow to help and seemed really lazy. Everything took twice the amount of time it should.

When I went just to rent a furniture dolly it took over 20 minutes. The lady helping me was nice but mentioned she was new. The other staff 'could not' help because they didn't know how etc.

The only person who was there to help me left out of the store when I was coming in ten minutes early for my reservation, and said she’d be right back. I had a 9am reservation and time was of the essence. She came back twenty minutes later only to tell me I had to do the check out online. There was no good customer service from her and no apology for making me wait almost a half hour from my reservation time. I was late picking up my items. I’m very displeased!

There were a number of process problems with this rental: - I found out two days ago that the reserved equipment was not available - The replacement equipment that was scheduled for me was also not available. At the location I was told that central office books equipment without checking with them. They were not able to find the reservation properly updated based on our conversation - When the final rental was made, it was done for 3 days instead of 10 days - The location was still giving me trouble for renting for Burning Man. I thought U-Haul was over this? I always return the equipment clean, having taken it through a wash and have never had a problem. But the location did sort me out as best they could. Their staff were friendly and helpful.

Your employees were high, over charged me for rental insurance, overcharged me for rental duration, and gave me a vehicle with the gas gage on empty. I am very displeased with your services and have lodged a formal complaint.

Not enough people to handle the work. The staff is poorly trained. The equipment is not maintained and even unsafe. My tow dolly was not attached to my truck correctly and could have been a disaster. I took it back to my house and went to your Youtube videos and figured out how to correctly hook up the dolly to the hitch on my truck. Some of the parts on the the tow dolly were missing and some were so worn out that they had to be held together with zip ties so that the hitch wouldn't separate from the ball. YOUR STAFF IS NOT TRAINED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CUSTOMER INTERACTION. You need to bring in some independent customer service consultants to rate and train your people. Thy are terrible. Your telephone system is really poor. You never know who your going to get in the call routing system (local vs national). I should NOT be expected to have a Iphone to do business with Uhaul. I didn't have one and the staff seemed confused and unsure how to do standard paperwork.

Several issues with this location. 1. Way understaffed for a Saturday. How can 2 people run the office on such a busy day? 2. The people that were at the location had no idea what they were doing. When we arrived and said we wanted to get in our ubox they said we couldn't because they didn't know how to do it. After saying we were not leaving until we got in them one of the guys begrudgingly called their manager who said she was too busy to talk on the phone but that she would text him how to do it. After over an hour of her texting them we finally got in our box. Throughout this process the 2 guys kept messing up, saying they couldn't find our boxes then that they didn't know how to use the forklift. We were also left completely alone in the main office for long periods of time. 3. While the guys were generally nice they were very unprofesional, taking personal calls on their phones, playing games on their phones, cursing, talking gossip to each other, etc. 4. It was obvious we were not the only ones having problems with the 2 employees. Someone came in to get propane and they said they couldn't do it. And several other people came in to pick up trucks and trailers they had already reserved just to have one of the employees mess up the order, accidentally delete it, or try to give them the wrong thing. Overall our experience with the uboxes has not been great and this will be the first and last time we use them. They are constructed poorly and there is too much misscommunicaton between people at uhaul throughout the entire process. Very dissatisfied and we will not reccomend this service or location to anyone.
