The reason for rating is I reserved on line and when I got there I was told no lockers. Then they wanted to send me to far locations. Eventually after begging I got a large locker but will have to move everything in a month!!!

The truck was clean and ready to go when I arrived. Checking in was fast and easy. Thankfully I took a picture on the dashboard when I got into the vehicle this morning. The tank was a little above 1/4 tank. When I returned the vehicle, the worker told me that I owed an additional $100 in gas. This was because they said the gas was at 9/16th of a tank - not even remotely close and felt like a major scam. I showed the worker the picture and the time stamp and rush charge was removed. It seemed very shady and intentional.

there were some delays and we still have 2 uboxes shipping to california. we had to make two different orders because of two different destinations. Would have been nice to split up one order but I see how this could be confusing.

Inform each customer of every single charge they will or might have. I was not sure if I would be able to return my truck until after hours. The staff assured me after hours drop off would not be an issue at all. That's great. However, at no point at all did they inform me that there would be an additional $20 fee for using after hours drop off. I was informed of this after the fact after my card was run. This is something that should be told up front as soon as it's mentioned.

The biggest problem with u-haul is the customer service. Calling the customer service for help is a joke! You wait for hours. My husband was broken down on the side of the road with the truck waiting for help but the customer service takes so long. They also messed up the time for us to return the truck. I had to go through customer service three times, the last time including an hour of waiting for an answer, just to get it fixed.

The first registered place was awful. Had to go 30 minutes out of the to 2nd location which was great.

This survey does not allow me to share my dissatisfaction with the trailer. The interior dimensions of the 12'x 6' trailer are NOT listed accurately. This made a huge difference to us since we measured and plotted out what would fit where and one or two inches made a huge difference. The problem is that the side bumpers and the ceiling reinforcements are not taken into consideration. If we had known the true inside dimensions, we would not have rented the trailer -- we probably would have rented a larger truck. Now we are forced to make a second trip. Not happy.

The uhaul was clean. The only issues with the truck were the passenger door wouldn't close all of the way (definitely broken) and it had a decent amount of damage on the outside. It drove totally fine though and worked for our move.

The uhaul brakes were bad. They grinded/slid at the end of pressing the brakes. The check engine light was in when I picked it up. Felt unsafe but since I never drove a truck before I wasn't sure how it was supposed to be until my boyfriend said it was not right. Didn't use the truck, returned it the next day and had to rent something else

I was never notified when they went to drop off my uboxes that someone refused the delivery. So my boxes were lost for 5days, then they were put into storage without my consent, also when I went to empty them the 1 container was missing the lock and only had a pin in it. Also the entire container had been repacked, and I have a roku that is missing, a TV that now has a Crack and a vast hat was also cracked and broken. And in my orifice online order I paid for 1000 container insurance for the boxes themselves and 5000 coverage due the contents inside. So I don't know what Happened however no one ever contacted me to tell me of any type of accident or anything Like pithat. That had taken place with the uboxes.

I don't know how much was unique to this location, or if I was just fortunate with the vehicle. It came with a small dolly and a bag with a few moving blankets. I didn't actually need either, but it was a really nice touch. Also there was a padlock chained to the back and the key was with the vehicle key, so another thing I didn't have to worry about. A small additional expense up front for U-Haul but made a big impact to this renter.

The truck was poorly maintained, the transmission felt like it was going out, having trouble shifting, and also the suspension was horrible, the slightest bump shook the entire truck like an earthquake.

Only thing I had an issue with, I replaced the fuel, the gas gage was not working in real time, it needed a little over a quarter tank for return, gage was weird, ended up putting over half a tank in, lots of money in today time.

I was calling from time open to have a return call because it said was busy and take 25 to 30 minutes so I took the call back and when called back never answered I was put on hold I also rented a storage space and it said if I rented in the last 2 years first month is free but I was charged why I don't know but I had to take it because my time had ran out and I needed to be somewhere I have 3 other storages and was about to move them all at your facility but have changed my mind due to the unprofessional conduct and charging what a know I clearly read. But Thank you! Anyway!

I literally only got half of the equipment I rented and no one contacted me like uhaul said they would so I still paid for everything. Also I only used half of the gas you charged me for.

Staff was very courteous and made the process quick and hassle free. Staff made sure trailer was hooked up properly and helped check lights. Drop off was quick and easy with the staff checking us back in without going in the building. Will definitely use this location again.

Very unhappy that we were not notified that our trailer had to be picked up at a different location from Lorain. We were setting up for a wedding and this impacted our morning timeline to get to our venue. POOR RATING on the communication about the different location.

Make sure your employees do not wear expensive shoes and have extra socks on raining days. I shouldn't have to walk to the bottom of the parking lot to get my truck. All the other reserved trucks are parked up by building.

No access to key in lockbox for after hours pick up even though I was assured on morning of that night it would go smoothly. Waited 70 minutes outdoors in dark parking lot on HOLD for UHaul National helpline to inform me they could do nothing. Necessitated getting a nearby hotel room to wait for pick up when location opened at 7am the next morning. Manager comped me one free day but that hardly made up for the hassle as I was late for an event in Akron.

I initially scheduled a time at another location gor a mobile pick up and the app didn't even work! so I had to modify my reservation and it messed up my entire moving day. The app said please wait until your pickup time to get the vehicle and it was after the time. Mobile pickup was a joke!

The actual millage and the actual gas level did not match what was on the computer. We had to inform the U-Haul Representative. He checked the computer and the truck and saw that the report did not match the millage and gas gauge. The young gave us another truck. The young man was extremely polite and made sure we were satisfied before leaving.. However, the computer not matching the gas gauge and the millage seems to be a common occurrence with U-Haul. A week prior, my Family rented a U-Haul and was charged 60 miles for the same distance traveled on this particular day. someone should investigate this common practice. Rita Dent company.

I have rented a cargo van twice in last two weeks Both times found the cargo holding part of the van to be dirty. Previous renters return van not at least sweeping back area out. Pointed this issue out both times upon returning van. Staff very apologetic indicating that they should have caught that before van goes out..

The passenger side rear view mirror was set in a way that I had to use an Allen wrench to adjust it. Just pushing wasn't doing the job. Please ensure that the mirrors are adjusted properly.

I'm sorry I did not get names, but the representatives that helped me with pick up and drop off were kind, polite and very helpful. When I picked up the trailer it was raining but he stayed outside and made sure everything was hitched up correctly and safely. He made sure nothing was going to go wrong. They over charged me. Had the wrong mileage and gas and trying to say I went 88+miles when I only went from old Brooklyn Ohio to Parma Ohio. This place is a scam . Never again will I use uhaul service.

The trainer ceiling leaked and got some of our items wet since it was raining. The left blinker stopped working during our drive and the chain link had too much slack and was dragging as we drove. It appears this was hooked up to our car and not throughly checked. However, the return went very quickly and efficiently.

I told the clerk that I was emptying my storage lockers the day it was done. I then had to endure several phone calls where I informed several people that the lockers were empty. One of which hung up on me. As well as numerous e mails. Your people do not communicate with each other.

Dealt with two staff who were both helpful, especially the woman at the check in desk. My only suggestion is better directional signs both inside and outside the building. Inside the arrows on the floor are great, but I couldn't find the office until I ran into a staff member.

Had billing issues continuously. Locked out of unit several times even though I was assured that would not happen. Your corporate system needs to be modified. Staff did all they could to try to fix the situation but were unable to do so. That is why I cannot recommend you to someone else.

Made a reservation for a 10x15 unit when i arrived with all my stuff i was told they had none. Had to accept 2 units. Had to pay 120 to have a lock cut off because i could not get in my unit for 6 months and management wouldnt help. i made an appt for them to cut lock off because the doors on the unit are messed up and i could not open lock. Staff couldnt either. and when the day came i was told they no longer cut locks off. Noone notified me and i drove an hour to get there. I had movers empty my units dec 26 2021 and when they unloaded it into my apt all my stuff was infested with roaches. I called and was told the manager would call me. They never did. I informed them a honeless man was living in a unit and had lock picking equipment. Nothing was done. This place is a joke. Horrible. They should pay for the extermination of my apt. They never reimbursed me for a lock i returned either. I only needed one and they charged me for 2.

Your staff is amazing. I usually have terrible experiences with Uhaul facilities and the Uhaul staff is usually rude, short with me, and difficult to work with. The staff at Uhaul of Parma is fantastic. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and knowledgeable and the check in and check out procedures were quick and easy. This staff should be commended for their fine work.

Except for past due notices I received when it was supposed to be taken out of my checking account it wasn't late but I would get a$15 late charge this happened like 4times to me. Which added up to $60 for no reason. When I went in to ask about it it said it was the mails fault

I informed the office on November 1 that the unit was vacated. I spoke to a real person who answered the phone and he said I would get an email confirmation that the unit was vacated. I provided my name and number of the unit. Then two days later I got a notice of a late fee. It was already emptied.

1st was told we had a storage unit waiting for us, same size as our truck, but when we arrived it was gone, and we had to get smaller same price, I explained there is no way this truck would fit in that storage unit, so we were given another of the same free 1 month then was paying over 440 per month when it should've only been 220. For 1 storage unit, very un proffesiinal didn't know what was what, had no idea on cubic foot,measure, that would be something your employee are encouraged to know up front or taught,because they don't seem to know and actually act like spoiled kids if you tell them different and walk away from you when your right. And they have nothing to say, but can't make any big decisions, so im assuming only management can't make. We paid out rent 1st of month but wasn't due till the 6th, we moved 2 units out on on or before the 4th, so we go our money back,then we weren't able to get other room moved out till 7th of that month we were told "WE DONT PRO RATE" funny but uhaul, makes it very comfortable for them we won't get the other half, and I didn't see it on either Bill so they stole 220 or if they prorated for the day after rent was due.. and I paid on the 1st of the month I should've gotten maybe 200 almost back for that 2 units we had 4 units but 2 our considered one together. So were still owed 200 at least. But won't see it supposedly till next month,but if you don't pay your rent they lock you stuff that day.. and charge you exstra.. nice company! You don't want to go back to. Do as I say, not as I do, right?

The man who did my registration on the phone helped me reserve a unit. When I got there they did not have an outside unit available. The man at the site was very helpful and was able to work with the staff to locate a unit for me. He was helpful, courteous and went thru everything with me. Great employee!

First the person there did did know what to do we had to go get cash because the credit cards thing was down then as soon I was walk in it was up we only was gone for 5 minute. I had to come back to get the storage unit because they said that he didn't know what they was doing. They messed up and over book so I couldn't get the storage inside. And the had to do 4 unit until I got the one they gave us.

Uhaul has always accommodated my every need. There is a representative named Keyonna , this lady went above and beyond to make my transition into the storage unit, quick fast and easy. This lady was professional, eager to help me,, she answered all my questions, was very nice, and she made me feel like my needs were important to her as well. Keyonna is a breath of fresh air. When I left the Uhaul facility, I said to myself WOW, that was easy, thanks to Keyonna. Thank you Uhaul, & thank you Keyonna. I would like for someone to recognize this young lady for her excellent service & demeanor. I will recommend this Uhaul facility on Brookpark Rd to all my friends and family..

I am so very angry with my experience with Uhaul as it pertains to the storage. When I first got to the location on Sunday I was turned away even though I had a reservation for a storage unit. I did appreciate Candy she was helpful on Monday but I most certainly didn't appreciate being ignored by the manager either. Then I was repeatedly told that my 15 foot truck should fit into this 5x10 unit. It DID NOT fit!!! I have been terribly inconvenienced and I feel nobody cares about that

wellI didn't elect to have auto pay, but when I got my contract it said I was enrolled. I didn't give permission for that. Another thing I didn't like was the size is over-estimated as for square footage and apt or home comparison with two-three bedroom sizes etc. I also didn't get the free month everyone got that the site was advertising for. This stuff upset me. Otherwise its clean and not far from me. I'd like the auto pay removed.

I was afraid that, due to weather extremes, some of our things may have been ruined after being in storage for 16 months, but everything was in the same condition as when we first moved it into our unit. We found everything about your facility convenient and we've already recommended your facility to others!

I was speaking two fine gentlemen at the store yesterday, I expressed my feelings about this store to them. Then I found out I was talking to the owner. I must repeat myself again, this facility is the greatest U-Haul store on the planet.

Got online checked out before end of the paid month. After 2 days I get an email with late charge fees and an invoice for next month to pay. Looks like the staff didn't cared much to check online move out requests. All and all good location.

While the facility itself is great, it's pretty crazy the polices UHaul corporate has in place. I reserved a unit and thought that meant I'd be charged and start paying on that date. In fact found out that my unit was given away. This was not listed anywhere visible or clearly noted. On top of that, the month of included storage was taken away because of a policy change, and the website did not reflect any actual units available. Pretty abysmal experience from U-Haul corporate. Half the reason I chose to use U-Haul was because of the month of storage included with truck rental. I could easily pick any other storage facility without that, and plan to look at cheaper options.

First I reserved my unit online and I saw a coupon for a free month so I applied it and it told me it was applied and I didn't have to pay till July 22 but when I got there I had to pay and while paying when I didn't think I had to I asked about a lock being in there or if I had to provide it they said it was in the unit when in fact it was not so I called up to the desk and they told me I had to come grab it from them I didn't have to pay for it but all the employees that were there saw that I was in a immobilizing boot and everyone was worried about going in the back and they all wanted to go. It was just unprofessional and after having to pay and not having the lock they could of at least ran the lock to my unit but what ever was in the back was more important cause when I did in fact go back to get the lock none of the employees I saw at first was there it was another guy.

what we were told for storage what we got was not any where near a 20 foot truck a young girl gave 2 small storage units. Which where not even close I went in and order 2 more same size as the others and this gentlemen gave them to us for a month free, so 8 think out of all good, but you need to know you stuff about.. cubits, and measurements.. or else.. the girl couldn't even figure out where the storage units were located she had to ask someone else.. so that perturbed me a little.. But all was good in the end.. and was taken care of..

Tre experience was good. One comment I have that when I was renting the truck the U-Haul app led me to believe that I was getting a first month free on my storage room. However when arrived at the facility the staff told me that the drive up storage does not qualify for this offer. I will follow up with a phone call.

The service was great they just need to answer the phone instead of taking the phone off the hook with busy tone... I was calling to ask question and I call most of the day while I was at work.. When I get there the person just sitting there messing with cell phone and I call from parking lot just to see if phone was going to ring and still the same thing sounds like phone is off the hook .
