I told the clerk that I was emptying my storage lockers the day it was done. I then had to endure several phone calls where I informed several people that the lockers were empty. One of which hung up on me. As well as numerous e mails. Your people do not communicate with each other.

Dealt with two staff who were both helpful, especially the woman at the check in desk. My only suggestion is better directional signs both inside and outside the building. Inside the arrows on the floor are great, but I couldn't find the office until I ran into a staff member.

Had billing issues continuously. Locked out of unit several times even though I was assured that would not happen. Your corporate system needs to be modified. Staff did all they could to try to fix the situation but were unable to do so. That is why I cannot recommend you to someone else.

Made a reservation for a 10x15 unit when i arrived with all my stuff i was told they had none. Had to accept 2 units. Had to pay 120 to have a lock cut off because i could not get in my unit for 6 months and management wouldnt help. i made an appt for them to cut lock off because the doors on the unit are messed up and i could not open lock. Staff couldnt either. and when the day came i was told they no longer cut locks off. Noone notified me and i drove an hour to get there. I had movers empty my units dec 26 2021 and when they unloaded it into my apt all my stuff was infested with roaches. I called and was told the manager would call me. They never did. I informed them a honeless man was living in a unit and had lock picking equipment. Nothing was done. This place is a joke. Horrible. They should pay for the extermination of my apt. They never reimbursed me for a lock i returned either. I only needed one and they charged me for 2.

Your staff is amazing. I usually have terrible experiences with Uhaul facilities and the Uhaul staff is usually rude, short with me, and difficult to work with. The staff at Uhaul of Parma is fantastic. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and knowledgeable and the check in and check out procedures were quick and easy. This staff should be commended for their fine work.

Except for past due notices I received when it was supposed to be taken out of my checking account it wasn't late but I would get a$15 late charge this happened like 4times to me. Which added up to $60 for no reason. When I went in to ask about it it said it was the mails fault

We had a challenging move in as the power was out at the store. Staff worked very well with us. One minor issue was a billing issue but that was resolved.

I informed the office on November 1 that the unit was vacated. I spoke to a real person who answered the phone and he said I would get an email confirmation that the unit was vacated. I provided my name and number of the unit. Then two days later I got a notice of a late fee. It was already emptied.

1st was told we had a storage unit waiting for us, same size as our truck, but when we arrived it was gone, and we had to get smaller same price, I explained there is no way this truck would fit in that storage unit, so we were given another of the same free 1 month then was paying over 440 per month when it should've only been 220. For 1 storage unit, very un proffesiinal didn't know what was what, had no idea on cubic foot,measure, that would be something your employee are encouraged to know up front or taught,because they don't seem to know and actually act like spoiled kids if you tell them different and walk away from you when your right. And they have nothing to say, but can't make any big decisions, so im assuming only management can't make. We paid out rent 1st of month but wasn't due till the 6th, we moved 2 units out on on or before the 4th, so we go our money back,then we weren't able to get other room moved out till 7th of that month we were told "WE DONT PRO RATE" funny but uhaul, makes it very comfortable for them we won't get the other half, and I didn't see it on either Bill so they stole 220 or if they prorated for the day after rent was due.. and I paid on the 1st of the month I should've gotten maybe 200 almost back for that 2 units we had 4 units but 2 our considered one together. So were still owed 200 at least. But won't see it supposedly till next month,but if you don't pay your rent they lock you stuff that day.. and charge you exstra.. nice company! You don't want to go back to. Do as I say, not as I do, right?

The man who did my registration on the phone helped me reserve a unit. When I got there they did not have an outside unit available. The man at the site was very helpful and was able to work with the staff to locate a unit for me. He was helpful, courteous and went thru everything with me. Great employee!

First the person there did did know what to do we had to go get cash because the credit cards thing was down then as soon I was walk in it was up we only was gone for 5 minute. I had to come back to get the storage unit because they said that he didn't know what they was doing. They messed up and over book so I couldn't get the storage inside. And the had to do 4 unit until I got the one they gave us.

Uhaul has always accommodated my every need. There is a representative named Keyonna , this lady went above and beyond to make my transition into the storage unit, quick fast and easy. This lady was professional, eager to help me,, she answered all my questions, was very nice, and she made me feel like my needs were important to her as well. Keyonna is a breath of fresh air. When I left the Uhaul facility, I said to myself WOW, that was easy, thanks to Keyonna. Thank you Uhaul, & thank you Keyonna. I would like for someone to recognize this young lady for her excellent service & demeanor. I will recommend this Uhaul facility on Brookpark Rd to all my friends and family..

I am so very angry with my experience with Uhaul as it pertains to the storage. When I first got to the location on Sunday I was turned away even though I had a reservation for a storage unit. I did appreciate Candy she was helpful on Monday but I most certainly didn't appreciate being ignored by the manager either. Then I was repeatedly told that my 15 foot truck should fit into this 5x10 unit. It DID NOT fit!!! I have been terribly inconvenienced and I feel nobody cares about that

wellI didn't elect to have auto pay, but when I got my contract it said I was enrolled. I didn't give permission for that. Another thing I didn't like was the size is over-estimated as for square footage and apt or home comparison with two-three bedroom sizes etc. I also didn't get the free month everyone got that the site was advertising for. This stuff upset me. Otherwise its clean and not far from me. I'd like the auto pay removed.

I was afraid that, due to weather extremes, some of our things may have been ruined after being in storage for 16 months, but everything was in the same condition as when we first moved it into our unit. We found everything about your facility convenient and we've already recommended your facility to others!

I was speaking two fine gentlemen at the store yesterday, I expressed my feelings about this store to them. Then I found out I was talking to the owner. I must repeat myself again, this facility is the greatest U-Haul store on the planet.

Got online checked out before end of the paid month. After 2 days I get an email with late charge fees and an invoice for next month to pay. Looks like the staff didn't cared much to check online move out requests. All and all good location.

While the facility itself is great, it's pretty crazy the polices UHaul corporate has in place. I reserved a unit and thought that meant I'd be charged and start paying on that date. In fact found out that my unit was given away. This was not listed anywhere visible or clearly noted. On top of that, the month of included storage was taken away because of a policy change, and the website did not reflect any actual units available. Pretty abysmal experience from U-Haul corporate. Half the reason I chose to use U-Haul was because of the month of storage included with truck rental. I could easily pick any other storage facility without that, and plan to look at cheaper options.

First I reserved my unit online and I saw a coupon for a free month so I applied it and it told me it was applied and I didn't have to pay till July 22 but when I got there I had to pay and while paying when I didn't think I had to I asked about a lock being in there or if I had to provide it they said it was in the unit when in fact it was not so I called up to the desk and they told me I had to come grab it from them I didn't have to pay for it but all the employees that were there saw that I was in a immobilizing boot and everyone was worried about going in the back and they all wanted to go. It was just unprofessional and after having to pay and not having the lock they could of at least ran the lock to my unit but what ever was in the back was more important cause when I did in fact go back to get the lock none of the employees I saw at first was there it was another guy.

what we were told for storage what we got was not any where near a 20 foot truck a young girl gave 2 small storage units. Which where not even close I went in and order 2 more same size as the others and this gentlemen gave them to us for a month free, so 8 think out of all good, but you need to know you stuff about.. cubits, and measurements.. or else.. the girl couldn't even figure out where the storage units were located she had to ask someone else.. so that perturbed me a little.. But all was good in the end.. and was taken care of..

Tre experience was good. One comment I have that when I was renting the truck the U-Haul app led me to believe that I was getting a first month free on my storage room. However when arrived at the facility the staff told me that the drive up storage does not qualify for this offer. I will follow up with a phone call.

The service was great they just need to answer the phone instead of taking the phone off the hook with busy tone... I was calling to ask question and I call most of the day while I was at work.. When I get there the person just sitting there messing with cell phone and I call from parking lot just to see if phone was going to ring and still the same thing sounds like phone is off the hook .

Helpful and friendly staff, good location. Definitely recommended. Some suggestions. I would like for the sliding door be open outside office hours, because the side door that remains open till 10 PM is very small and it's tough to bring things in through there. Would also be great if they'd let overall access be available beyond 10 PM. All other storage units I've used have included 24/7 access.

Only moved out because we found a much cheaper place near where we store our travel trailer. Our room's locking mechanism jammed easily. But we will visit to buy propane, though the transaction would be easier if you could call the office directly and meet the associate at the pump (where they collect payment anyway) rather than park, mask, and walk through the store. That's because the phones are all routed through a central office.

I originally had a 5x10x7 unit for $79 a month reserved, I was afraid my stuff would not fit so I asked to upgraded to a 5x15x6 for $139 a month. The unit I was given was 5x10x6, so basically the same as my first reservation. All my my stuff ended up fitting anyway. I need to price changed to $79 a month because I would have just stayed with my original until because they're the same size. The manager said he would fix it but the cost is still showing up as the larger unit on my account. I tried calling 3 times today, I was on hold for 25 minutes and then the call dropped. I tried to resolve the issue before leaving a review.

I was very pleased with the storage unit and company. The facility was very clean and well lit every time I was there. I knew my belongings were safe with the security available. I would most definitely return if ever I need to store my things again and have already talked to family and friends about how happy I was.

I wanted to be placed in a storage unit outside so that I could drive up and unload. They kept placing me inside in a temperature controlled unit. After 3 attempts, they finally understood what I wanted. They wouldn't show me where my unit was at, and they didn't explain how the security card works. I had to ask them. They didn't seem very motivated to help me. I won't be back after I am done using the unit. It shouldn't be this hard.

I was rented a storage space that already had a lock on it. I had furniture and other items line up only to have to move them. I had hired labor which caused an extra expense. When I got to the second space that had a lock on it as well! It already filled with someone's else's items! Your staff was flustered and argumentative! I wil look for a Thor storage facility next time. Stag was unprepared to handle the situation as no manager was there

The facility itself was very nice. The staff, not so much. They have an attitude with customers as if they are doing you a favor by working. Also, very behind on paperwork apparently. I closed my storage unit out on December 28, yet they were sending me late notices and late fees on January 10. I requested a phone call when the matter was ultimately solved, still didn't receive that. They also never answer phones at this specific location.

The bathroom was consistently dirty and/or non-functioning. There is a leak in the roof in the inside loading area. Makes me wonder if the roof isnt leaking elsewhere. Maurice is nice but when I was switched to 24 hr access in the middle of winter and I had trouble getting in (due to lack of communication), I tried to call Maurices phone number which is posted everywhere several times and I got no answer. I called the main uhaul number and they basically said "sorry we cant help you". I believe that communication is lacking with the customer service. Not everything is explained and all employees are not on the same page. Both lockers that I rented, they forgot to remove the zip ties from the storage doors. There always seems to be some sort of computer issues. One employee just said "our computers are going down it seems" in the middle of accommodating a customer and that its kind of a regular occurrance. If trying to call the facility or seeing them in person, the wait times are usually atrocious. There always seems to be new employees. The climate controlled units and loading zone (with carts) is pretty nice though. Ive never seen such a set up but it makes moving in and out so easy.

When uhaul on Lorain didn't have storage like promised I had to go to this one, prices for same facility were $40 higher, and they tried to make me buy there lock, they only allow a certain kind you can use, I already had that one so didn't have to purchase there's but what a scam don't tell you any of this before so you can decide... I feel with a big company it should be the same at every location...

I moved out online on the 10th and the people that worked there never looked at the emails to check me out.. So now they said I didn't move out till the 15th now they trying to charged me 76$ for extra day or 2 ..dont be a customer with them they are out to rob you

The lock on the storage unit we were given was broken, and we were assured it would be fixed. However, during the 2,5 months we used the unit, it was never fixed. We called several times to have it resolved, but we were told every time that it would take longer. The last time, a manager implied it was our fault for not calling more. However, that had been our third call. While the staff members at that location are very kind and helpful, the management is lacking. We would not recommend the business for that reason.

Had communication issues with the employees. I was asked to provide multiple people for the application or what not... did not have anyone to put down had to make up people. Asked to speak with manager.... he told employee to give me to another person whom was not a manager because i was upset. I filled everything out online and was being asked the same questions. Whats the purpose of reserving online? Once shifted to another employee she was great help but apparently she could have checked me in for the truck rental as well but didnt. Manager refused to help at that point and pushed me off to the employee inside. Very unhappy with my service. And overall experience. Once arrived the next day to put things in my storage unit cleaning lady was cleaning it. So i also was given a dirty unit that i had to wait 10 min to be cleaned. It was time consuming.

The staff and store manager were very accommodating to my needs. When there was a question about a turn signal not working the store manager came outside to correct it by switching out the tow-dolly with another one. I have since then used the offer for a storage unit and just recently got a second one to rent. Very clean store and outside parking lot and the areas around the storage units.

I moved from Pittsburgh to Cleveland and the employees I interacted with went above and beyond any expectations I could of imagined I spoke to candy, And Chrissy, By phone who went out of their way to find out the answers to my questions and were so helpful, and there was a gentleman I can't remember his name unfortunately but he helped me to get into my storage unit and was very helpful with showing me how to navigate my way around. I am so impressed with the service I received it was one of my few pleasant experiences in a stressful move. I can't thank those staff members enough.

I stopped in to discontinue my auto- withdrawal since I was moving and could finally empty my storage. The rep kindly removed it in the system and told me the date in which I had to empty it. Then i received calls declaring I was late on my payment. They said they would update the notes in the system. When I arrived, my lock was double locked by theirs... my unit number was lit up on the board in the office area. I felt like a criminal. I told them as much too. Also, the snow accumulation around the unit was bad and it was so icy, my elbow is still bruised from losing my footing when getting out of the truck. Place could be 5 stars if they just paid attention to the details. hen

Outdoor units are heavily slanted and have a big bump so you cant roll anything easily in or out... And $220 a month is pretty ridicoulous rate in my opinion. I would not recommend.

Facility is enormous and offers a ton of services I didn't realize were available. Very happy with the unit I rented. Staff were friendly and got me checked in very quickly.
