The manager of the Nob Hill location is aware of my issues, complaints & concerns. The location is undesirable as it is next to a homeless camp! I was issued two different outside storage units: the first one had items & garbage from a squatter, the decimd one had garbage & human feces in it! The intercoms don't work, so when I have an issue, I have to drive back & forth to the office & wait to be waited on! I check in, I get the "welcome message" but when I check out, it tells me "welcome" again! I don't even know if my units are ever secure!!!?

They did not expect me to wait (they only take drop-offs) and they were a bit confused by the corporate reservation system. But the store itself was amazing. The manager and technician that worked on my car did great work and was as responsive as possible given the situation, the short staffing, and my "surprise" visit and wait.
Eric HArrived shortly after 9:00 to pick up the vehicle had to wait over half an hour to be served. It would have been worse except a couple of people ahead of me gave up and left. The one employee working seemed to be working hard but couldn't keep up with everyone needing service. Fuel level in the vehicle was low so had to stop immediately to get gas.(calling it an eighth of a tank was generous and a low fuel indicator was on). Between waiting to be served and having to get gas right away I lost nearly an hour.

Others with very large, scary dogs walking up and down the aisles. INDOORS! Smell in the facility is awful. I emptied and closed my unit as soon as I saw a needle on one of the unloading carts. The facility does not pro-rate or give credit for moving out of a unit well before the next month is due.

That would add 100 plus miles to my trip. So i was forced to take a smaller trailer and over pack the back of my truck in a attempt to complete my move. I had to leave items behind that i wanted to take and over fill my truck. This is very frustrating and bad service.

Word of advice to anyone renting next, make sure you complete pre trip inspection and make sure your pictures upload. That's what saved my money from being overcharged. Thank you to Angel, this guys only been there a short period of time but he ran a one man show today effortlessly and took the time to verify that my situation was indeed accurate. Not many people out there anymore who actually do their job without self motivated tactics. Will definitely return in the future to this location.

Manager refused to respond to emails, phones are constantly forwarded, equipment return was extremely backed up. We rented truck, they handed us the keys, and said this is where its at didnt pull it forward. It was clear across the parking lot. The truck sounded rough and felt like power steering was going out. We were not greeted (during business hours) upon return of our truck we returned it ourselves never once did an employee come outside. I will absolutely never do business at this location again. It is sad to see a U-Haul location so poorly ran.

DARREL NWe had a terrible experience with communication but once I got the General Manager on the phone everything worked. The boxes arrived a day late with no notice. Then whoever dropped the one U Box by the garage had it facing the wrong way so we called and the team fixed it the very next day. Altogether the issues were resolved quickly. Our boxes arrived later than expected. The driver who came and dropped our boxes was AMAZING. She called me the day before to schedule a good time and even came at the earliest time possible. Literally she arrived two minutes early and was extremely helpful. I wish all of the employees were like Sysilia! All of our items got to us without getting broken.

(Beginning mileage was understated by 18 miles and fuel level was listed at 9/16, more than double the actual level of 1/4. I had to have these figures corrected before driving off the lot. This was either very careless or maybe intentional dishonesty. This is not rocket science guys, get it right. Your reputation is on the line!

On occasion we had to interact with an employee that didn't seem thrilled or happy to help us, but it was not a chronic issue. My only real complaint was false or misleading information posted (or allow to be posted) online for the Nob Hill location. We drove from West Valley because it is posted online that "access" hours are from 5am to 10pm, with no further details. "Office" hours and "Access" hours are apparently the same. We got there within the 7 0' clock hour but were promptly asked to leave. We were standing right in front of our storage unit but told that we were not allowed to quickly grab just a couple of small boxes- this was upon our move out. My final verdict: yes, I would recommend Uhaul indoor storage (I have never rented an outdoor storage so I cannot speak to that). I would, however, encourage people not to trust the website and just call ahead of time to avoid wasting a trip (and gas) or be forced to drop everything and leave. The best thing the owner of this location can do is address any incorrect information online, regardless of whether or not they themselves posted it. Ensuring that customers aren't inconvenienced should be a priority.

Upon my visit I was just going in to rent a storage which I did (by the way storage display was very helpful) I expressed that I was moving and also needed a cargo but was going to rent one in another town upon that the guy was nice to help me find a cargo in another city and was able to book a cargo and same time and get all that set up for me. I left this place amazed if his customer service and taking tht xtra step. Thanks I will definitely send some people to this uhaul place on E. Nob hill and doing my business here. Keep up the good work.

When I asked the person he said " Well, I can't do anything about it, you needed to come in, in person! " so my response was, I'm sorry Sir, I didn't know that you guys were doing the free month with the rental of a storage, and needed to be In person. That's not what the online website says.. I ask to see if they can do the next month for free. He said No and did not give me a reason, why?.. He didn't even give me a receipt to confirm my purchase, like I requested. ( I have it in my email ). This is not how I wanted to start my business with you guys, but since I really needed the unit, I didn't have no choice. Merci.

There are many entrances, but they are "inoperable" and do not allow access. Staff told me it is because the building is not finished being built. The storage business hours are falsely displayed in many places and it is not 24 hour access, it isn't even regular hour access. Storage hours are the same as office hours, but nobody including staff informed me of that. I understand if hours are different due to covid, however, ALL the signs in the building and online could be updated. It is false advertising and will be reported to the BBB. There were several available storage rooms that were much closer to the only door of access so why was mine placed so far from it. Some staff members were rather rude to tell me I could "just get storage elsewhere" when I expressed my concerns. I won't recommend uhaul storage to anyone I know. Mike was the only person to help explain issues to me even though he was unable to help make it right. Basically, all staff told me to deal with it, or I could get storage elsewhere. Inconvenient location of the storage room within the huge building from the only service entrance. Falsely advertised hours of access to storage online and at the facility. Rude and unhelpful customer service.

I was charged over 130 dollars and treated like criminal.... I was lied too, both me and my sick girlfriend had to walk to the closes gas station since our vehicle ran out of gas on a different date... Both me and my family which is a big part of the selah -Yakima community will never rent from U-Haul again. I believe they are doing something completely unfair and wrong as they have also tried to bill me and charge my card for almost 600 dollars... which I did not authorize and will not authorize until court... you simple don't treat customers like this especially Simone who rents several times a year. I hope they never treat anyone let alone a customer they way me and my girlfriend both where treated.

She handled at least a dozen other customers. Including an upset customer, checking out & receiving rentals. I was there 90 minutes after I paid for the unit before she could show me the unit. As a manager is the past, I would say you are blessed with a caring, friendly & super professional employee. She amazed me her coping skills & professionalism.
