Even if the Truck share 24/7 thing allows you to pick up your truck before the site opens, DON'T DO IT. You'll spend an hour hauling trailers out of the way by hand so that you can get your truck out.Katrina L.

I reserved the equipment at a different location ( NE Cully) and when I showed up they had the wrong item. The guy there was not at all helpful and just said to call others.. this was really frustrating since I was trying to leave town. So I called the sandy blvd location and they were quite helpfulâ€¦ why do you guys â€œ confirm â€œ equipment just to have it not available??? This was a jokeJERRY H.
Ensure all portions of rental are correctly checked in, as I was incorrectly charged two extra days for the tow dolly after I had returned it, and subsequently spent significant time on hold coordinating the return with customer service.Lindsay S.

Online checking in was difficult to use due to bad cell phone service in the area.Sean H.
When doing self pickup, make the lock code clearer on the app. Put it in big all caps letters. Also, be clearer as to where the lock boxes are. I had to go inside to have the attendant show me where the code was on the app screen and he was rather rude about it.Eric T.

One of them who works there told the other guy that he thought I stole the trailer when he told him â€œ hey the trailer is here we need to give his passwortback , when that guy said â€œoh that's nice because i thought he stole â€œ , the way he said it made me feel so embarrassed in front of everyone, just because i kept a trailer one more day, I felt embarrassed in front of the people was there, just because I kept the trailer a day more doesn't mean I'm a theft, Worst experience ever, I feel like he was even racist because I'm Latino and I guess he thinks Hispanic people are theft..Juan B.

Friendly staff, clean facility, prompt and flexible. As a senior, things like moving are exceptionally stressful. The staffs calm and pleasant demeanor from start to finish made this move pleasant and I've never had fond memories about moving up until today. First off I rented the the truck twice Nd drove it the to the same place on both day. But I drove it 20 miles that is what was said on Friday when I dropped it off . Sunday it sad I drove 12,4 miles. So how is it I drove it to the same place both days but have different taxes and mileage. Than I was told that the dolly was going to be credited a d it wasn't. The process was a not very clear to a first-time customer. I attempted the mobile check in but it didn't seem like I actually submitted anything on the site, and I asked an employee in the parking lot about it and was told it's fine, but I did get charged the taxes so clearly I did not complete that step.Rachel G.

The gas tank was below empty when I was told that it would be at a quarter tank. I was then told by the manager that I should just go get gas even though I was worried the truck would run out before I got to the nearest gas station. GET BETTER SECURITY. This is not my problem - It is yours. I was then charged over 300 $for a 13 mile trip on your smallest truck. I clearly indicated on the pre- trip online checklist that the odometer was hundreds of miles higher than what was indicated online and yet I was still charged for the false reading. I had to wait in line in the service office afterwards for over 30 min for someone to fix the mistake. Really poor service. My account is now out over 300 $and I am still waiting for the refund.Christopher K.
The gas was below 1/4 when I picked it up, which was a bit disappointing and meant I put more gas in than I used to return it at the required 1/4 tank level. The moving blankets I requested were not in the truck when I picked it up and I spent nearly an hour on hold trying to contact the location when I ran into troubles with timing for the return of the truck. I wound up hanging up and had to return home to empty the truck in my driveway rather than the intended storage unit so that I could get the truck back in time since no one was answering the phone.Dorothea S.

My items were stolen from my container. They lost my key when they changed my lock and I paid rent on a unit were I was unaware my things were missing. Reserved a vehicle for 9am Sunday. Being a typical busy weekend, there were 4 customers ahead of me when I got there, but only ONE employee! He was pleasant and working as fast as possible. Due to UHAUL's absurd process it was still >35 minutes before I was done. No other vehicle rental company takes pictures of DL's and most just hand over the keys when presented with an ID & credit card that matched the reservation.Carlos M.

Reservation system didn't work. Extremely poor internet service considering web based transactions. Came in following morning to understaffed shop. Waited 45 minutes. Was told there was 1/8 tank, it was empty. I drove 47 miles. They told me I drove 295, than â€œcorrectedâ€ to 193. Turns out they forgot to do whatever they do to calibrate staring Odom. In system. Open cursing behind the counter. Open defiance between staff and someone who I believe was in charge. They were perfectly willing to believe that I drove 295 in 4 hours, saying â€œyou are the only one who had the truck.â€ Simply the worst service experience of my lifetime.Adam A.

Supremely frustrating to find all of the gas siphoned out of the van (gas cap still off), notifiy Uhaul employees of this, update this information using the app (as they directed me to), then remind them at drop off that I actually left more gas in the vehicle than I got it with, and still get charged 60 $extra dollars for gas and a "service fee". Happy Fathers Day, you get to sit on hold with corporate for 20 mins so you can create a Customer Action File.NICHOLAS M.

Staff and facility are great. What was appallingly bad was my experience with your website. I made a reservation online and received email confirmation, but your staff could find nothing about me on the store computers. My account had vanished. Total waste of time and very stressful. Staff, facility, and equipment at the NE Sandy location were excellent. However, there was a major glitch with my web reservation. Appallingly, horrifically bad, the worst experience I have ever had. I reserved a van and storage space online, and received email confirmations (with reservation numbers) from UHaul. However, the NE Sandy store had no record of anything, could find nothing about me in their computer. Major hassle. I am horrified and angry and will tell everyone I know.PAMELA M.

It was nice having a keycard to access whenever needed and not having to deal with staff during Covid. The facility was temperature and humidity controlled as advertised. The storage unit was secure and easily accessible. Whenever I had to talk to staff, which was only during move in and move out, they were kind and helpful. Only complaint I had is one of my boxes had mouse poop on it when I moved out. I know it isn't easy to control, but that was kinda gross. This unit was not usable. We rented it without seeing it due to an emergency situation and arrived to see a unit that was a "stack unit" that I do not feel was adequately described on the website. I could not be happier with my experience at this UHAUL location. Everything explained clearly and they were quite patient with me as I was very tired after arriving from out of state and moving in 90+ degree weather. I was disappointed when my reservation was for a unit that required going up stairs. Zachary was able to seamlessly check the inventory and change my storage space to the ground level.
