I was told that my storage was not accessible about 1 year ago, then 1 week before they sold my things, they said I can pay a fee to get my things out but I have one week and it must be out. I would've gotten my things a year ago if I could.

It was very convenient to be able to do everything online. However when we got to our unit there was not a lock like we were informed. It wasn't that big of deal being we had to go to UHaul to drop off our trailer. The person who helped us was also very nice and helped us no problem !

If I could I will give it 0 stars!!!This is the absolute WORST STORAGE PLACE EVER!!!!! DIANE BERTIN should be FIRED!!!! She does not answer to emails and phone calls, and she would double charge your account!!! I closed my account in December, got all my stuff out and paid the price for December that she double my storage price on. Yet she trying to charge me for the month of January which I had all my stuff out in dec.She won't received a penny from me. She the main reason why I'm taking my business somewhere else. She is a complete jerk and a ripoff!!! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE NOT EVEN A DOG!!! My storage was 59,95 and then it went up to 65.99. And when I got the bill in December it was 209. So I closed my account right then and there. Dianne bertin has the worst customer service ever,bad attitude, and she a scammer!!!!! Please do not go there!!!! Take it from me I know.And also the help button at the storage place do not work so a person could easily get kidnapped. Dianne bertin which is the manager has a very nasty attitude,she do not know how to treat her customers,she is very rude!!!!! I don't even know how she even became manager. She has no customer or professional skills at all.she is the main reason why I'm taking my business somewhere else!!!!! If yall get rid of her it would be a better place!!!! I was overcharged everytime!!!! This is the worst storage facility I ever came across!!! All I know yall gone keep losing customers if yall don't do anything about Dianne bertin. And another thang let say you u come up there and tell them that you gone be late on the storage and that you will pay for it on this particular day maybe bout 1 or two days later they would still charge you for the late fees. They really wrong for that.because normally when u call up there and tell them you gone be 1 day late you should not get charged. The storage place is very nasty and not clean. I saw big rats and roaches over there!!!!so them mouse trap is not working at all!! It was the worst experience ever,they don't even care about the customers!!!!

I never had anything in storage at this location.I have a totally different unit from this one.I tried calling about it to MacArthur office couldn’t get no one.I contact customer service and was supposed to got contacted by Alexandria and never did.Finally talked to Tyler Thursday/Friday and was told Gm was gonna contact me but never did.So I came from Atlanta on the 7th to get issue resolved personally and now I’m waiting on my refund from this storage I never used and was charged for.

Although the staff and facility provided good customer service. The reason for "above average" rating is due to rate increases on the size of unit rented. Therefore, I chose to vacant. I recognize increases will occur but at this rate I simply cannot afford the most recent increase.

My only problem with this facility is that you can't reach anyone if you have an issue. There is no prompt for storage facility problems and if you call the number provided you are disconnected. I could not get assistance after five calls. Very frustrating.

Only thing I was truly disappointed in was the small door....I truly need the large door...maneuvering around the small door with large furniture where it was located was NOT convenient

I at first rented a smaller unit. Once I got to the unit with my stuff I noticed it was going to be too small. I went to the office and they switched it to a bigger one right away with no problems.

I was locked out of my storage for "nine payment despite the fact that I had a $0 balance! I went in to make a payment the guy said there's nothing to pay,the store manager came in about 2 hours later did something and all of a sudden a payment was due! Made the payment and still didn't have access to the unit! Once I got access to the unit and everything was fixed the key card didn't worktried to go clean the storage unit up key wouldn't read! I'm so over uhaul!!!

There I was. 24-48 hours earlier I had turned in a 5x10 locker. With little notice I needed a 5x10 again. Off I went to my friendly neighborhood U-Haul only to learn no 5x10s were available. With keys and card in hand off I went to my larger than wanted locker. Key card didn't work. Back to service counter. Card redone. Off to locker. Key card didn't work. Phone call to service counter. Fifteen minutes later new card delivered. Success. Cart heavily loaded, I proceed to my locker and find it padlocked. Phone call to service counter. Given a new locker at far end of building. Enroute I pass my old 5x10 locker open and empty. By this time having been up since 2 am I am an empty shell of the man I once was. Resigned to my fate, I proceed down the green mile to my destiny, a open, clean, locker. Kudos to the manager for her efforts helping me survive the perfect storm.

The floors are a little ruff in spots and the other end of the building could use some outside access. Thata a long walk if locker is in the rear.

I was given the wrong storage space and I had to wait for a storage, then I was told the the mileage was .a mile and I ended up paying 1.09, then they charged me for gas which I shouldn't have been. I was told to bring the gas back at 3/4 of a tank and I got the contract where she highlighted what the gas was before I got the truck.

Diane Bertin is a force of nature She demands excellence by example and her leadership as well as her proactive attitude are contagious and very refreshing these days when most are doing as little as possible to get by She answers her cell after hours and gets up at 2 am to ensure her customers and their property are safe I have a tremendous amount of respect for her as she makes managing a fleet of trucks snd trailers as well as over 1500 units look easy She recently had a mild heart attack and answered the phone like it was just another day Whatever she is being paid; it’s not enough- she is a keeper and will be a huge asset at any company Impressive Thank you for all you do every day to make my life a little easier Your hard girl and dedication are noticed !! My overall experience with U-Haul was great until I came the very next day to move my stuff out of storage which was very few items...I came literally the next day after Christmas which was 12/26/2020...to get the rest of my belongings out of the storage...keep in my mind my bill was due 12/22/2020...with a two day grade period of 12/23/2020 and 12/24/2020...so keep in mind the very next day was Christmas so I couldn't go that day due to the closure...and I mean honestly who wants to do all that during Christmas when that is meant for time with your family...so fast forward to the day I go in which is 12/26/2020...I go in thinking you know I been with U-Haul storage for at least year paid my storage fee on time or within a certain time frame never got the late fee in all that time until this one time...so I'm thinking U-Haul appreciate me for paying on time and also I rented numerous U-Haul trucks that I brought back in good condition and undamaged each and every time...wishful thinking that U-Haul actually cared about there customers cause they don't...so I go in to see about just getting myself out because it was just bags and comforter sets no where near me paying $60 or the monthly fee of $114...side note I only paid it because one of the comforter sets in there was for my mom I didn't want to lose it...so with that being said I was late I kid you not no more then 2 or 3 days which the time was around Christmas...they owner, store manager or whoever wanted me to pay $60 for two days because I was late again 2 or 3 days and I'm like y'all want me to pay $60 for two days what a rip off to the full extreme especially to a good and loyal customer...also the lady also explain to the owner or whoever that I've been a good customer paid on time and all but management wanted me to pay $60 still for 2 or 3 days...I knew it wasn't much in there but it was on time contraints on what I could and couldn't do so I went ahead and paid a full months rent of $114 because I didn't have time energy and at the same time I was already upset and disappointed...I personally will never refer anyone to that U-Haul location nor if I can help it rent a storage or truck from there ever again if I don't have to I will find another U-Haul and storage facility before I rent there because that's not giving back to good customers....we are going thru a pandemic U-Haul is not losing any money and I couldn't be cut a break for being loyal reliable and good customer...some people wouldn't even been able to pay that with everything going on but I'm thankful I was ... ALSO, THIS IS NOT FOR THE TWO STORE WORKERS I ALWAYS DEALT WITH WHEN I CAME TO THE U-HAUL STORE THEY WERE VERY VERY UNDERSTANDING AND ALWAYS I MEAN ALWAYS DISPLAYED GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE FRIENDLY THEY ARE THE ONLY REASON WHY I DIDN'T GIVE A RATING OF POOR!!!! THIS IS MEANT FOR THE OWNER, STORE MANAGER OR WHOMEVER SAID FOR ME TO PAY THE $60...THAT WASN'T RIGHT AND WAS TRULY UNFAIR....

Everything about this experience was fantastic. The facility was extremely easy to get in and out of with my security code, any issues I may have had the staff was on top of getting it figured out. This is definitely the place that I would rent from.

I used a 6 x 12' trailer that I got from the facility near my house initially I had some problems l called the hotline and they told me too call the manager so I did and I spoke with my Mr. Matthew Grimmilion who immediately took action in correcting and restoring everything He basically single-handedly remedied the situation entirely he actually drove to where my location was corrected the problem , inspected the trailer and was very patient with my questions as I learned a lot just talking to him this isn't just the guy that does the bare minimum to get by ; this man wanted to make sure that things were right and this the guy you want on your team for sure as his work ethic and attitude are surely contagious as he change my attitude towards the whole experience which was giving me peace of mind which you cannot put a price on when you're pulling a trailer on aI 10 - he advised that I Return the trailer to the main location which is on MacArthur Drive in Alexandria Louisiana which is where I met Diane and her team who force of nature in her own right ; very professional very clean extremely gracious and extremely knowledgeable - a hurricane was Moving in and most other companies would've already been shut down or not been available but her team ensured I had everything I needed and that I was safe - guided me back me with the trailer And used perfectly clear I am gestures to make sure I was In the right location and then they moved their big trucks in front of the windows in preparation of the hurricane it was probably a few hours out at a time. I was so impressed with the way they did business that I went ahead and rented a storage locker , bought a dolly ( Which is made in America l must add)as well as several other items for moves in the future. Working in another state causes me to need to travel very often and God willing when this virus thing is over will start doing that again but I need a company and a group of people that I can count on and I found that - there will be no more shopping around no more researching and definitely no more second guessing because I found my go to company for all of my travel needs and I will recommend it to any family member friend or coworker because I truly believe that they not only went above and beyond for me but they do this on a regular basis very impressive and very appreciated it's become a rarity to have pride and passion in Your work As well as in the people you're serving word-of-mouth travels very fast and is very very powerful I'm telling you this is the place to go if you have any moving your storage needs J. Quick and convenient rental made extra special by a 30 day free storage offer. I was moving to Alexandria from Lake Charles after the devastation of Hurricane Laura and my home is still not quite ready in Alexandria so I needed storage of my belongings. The storage facility is the nicest I have seen and even comes complete with super clean restrooms and convenient dollies for customer use. Thank you so much for your kind and generous offer. Reserved a 10x20 drive up unit weeks before arrival and when we got here, the unit was given away and there were no other units available. We were told sorry and good luck as most of the other places around town were sold out as well. They gave me the "option" of 2, side-by-side, 10x10 units in climate control warehouse across the street for an additional $65 a month which i had no choice to accept. The new units were around 1/2 a football field away from the parking area so moving my entire life by way of small trolleys across miles of extra walking distance and in 95+ heat with 100 %+ humidity was the icing on the cake...I guess the extra $65 a month was for the exercise plan After talking with the corporate, we were told basically, tough crap, we didn't have to accept what was available, and either accept it or move out ...very thoughtful and empathetic bunch of folks. The only positive was the store associate that checked me in when i arrived. She was apologetic, helpful, and even drove over to the offsite location to make sure we didn't have an problems accessing the unit. Hats off to the store and shame on corporate; we will never be using U-Haul storage again!!

I went to get in to the storage at 7:11 pm and I the front door will no open for me. So I was never able to access my storage and I live 25 mins away. The staff online could not assist me either because I had to wait for someone the following morning.

Uhaul made moving a stress free experience from the pick up of my trailer to returning it and getting a storage unit. The holsum bakery uhaul location and staff were excellent.

Upon leaving couldn't find a dumpster for a few items I wasn't taking...I had to haul them home! Other than that it was a great clean secure place to keep our things.

First day I was not able to access unit, bill got sent to wrong address causing $15.00. After removing my belonging I went to office where I waited close to 10 minutes and was still never waited on.
