First trip to the storage unit and they had locked it themselves without telling me to lock it before hand, second trip around I had a Uhaul full of furniture ready to unload and the gate was closed for the night. Had to keep Uhaul an extra day so I could unload.
It would be nice to be able to reach the facility directly on the phone 4 of 5 times instead of the opposite of that. Otherwise all good.
I would like to thank you all who helped me there. You took very good care of me. I appreciate everything you all did.
The process was easy and the online system was user friendly.
I rated average because I requested a 10x10x10 and the unit I was rented has a lower head clearance with roll up door cylinder just inside entrance. The unit is actually 10x9. I had 3 standard pallets to load in to be pickup later and can not be stacked to 6'4" ready to go in storage unit. Disappointed and will have to repack in driveway at time of pickup.
Everyone at these two locations were incredibly helpful and eased my process of moving. When I move in the future I will definitely be using the storage facility.
Need more parking space.
I don’t understand why I keep being charged for storages I already made a settlement on? And it’s hard to get in contact with someone at the store. I settled my account in September or October and I have been getting billed every month after that. I don’t want this to go on my credit report. So please fix this error.

The staff is AMAZING, and they give great service. I was upset that I was charged a late fee of $23.99, not knowing that I had to pay right on time. I'd like that to be refunded. Having spent money on vans to move, etc. - I feel I invested a lot to support this crew, and happy to do my part. But disappointed with the inability to reverse the charge.
The owner Bob was very helpful. We had a very rough move from Phoenix with equipment issues and changes that no one could control. I was very upset at the situation and was rude to say the least. Bob worked with me and calmed my concerns. I am thankful he took the time to help me even though he was dealing with several other issues himself. Thank you for the understanding and I will be using his location for any of my upcoming rental needs.

I gave only an average rating because I had some individual issues regarding moving out of my storage and I had a horrible time getting through for help on the phone line in addition to leaving repetitive phone and email messages without hearing back from management.
Always busy, so allow plenty of time to check in.

The staff at the Beaverton facility on TV Hwy are great people; very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Even with all the smoke and the natural stress patrons bring with them, the staff was able to retain their sense of humor and helpfulness. The storage unit was clean, very secure, and easy to access. I appreciate the tall ceilings! Thank you U-Haul!
only issue I had. I had waited 30 minutes in line to get a truck and rentva unit. The guy stated I could fill out paperwork when I returned truck. I assumed my storage unit was in the system, so upon my return I could place my items in unit. I was not given my code, upon return I had to wait another 20 minutes in line to finish getting the unit, in which was never put in system upon my first visit and the unit was not placed on hold and was unavailable. The second time waiting in line was my issue.

Too expensive
My only complaint, which is kind of a major one. The prices were a bit high and kept rising. Which is why I had to relocate to another storage place to pay less.
I love the guys in the office they were helpful, friendly, funny and light-hearted. During such stressful and uncertain times it was really nice to just be able to crack a few jokes and lighten the mood. I will definitely use this storage facility again in the future if the need ever arises!
I really liked that I could rent via mobile device and after hours, since the move was unplanned. However, I was supposed to receive the first month free with the rental of a vehicle. There was no way to apply the free month via online. There is no way to contact the storage office directly (I must call and wait on hold from 20 min to 1hr+) and have yet to receive assistance with this 3 weeks after the move-in. Also, the access wasn't clear, and we we're locked out of the facility after hours the first time we arrived (because 2 vehicles entered using our code, which "logged us out"). We had to call an after hours line, leave a message, and wait 30 min for someone to show up only to tell us that we could have walked outside the gate and enabled our code again. If there was a usable FAQ or chat feature, and if I could actually reach a human at the rental location, this would be much better.
Jeff set up my storage unit very professionally. When he had a computer glitch, he knew how to get around it and kept the process going. I appreciated the time he took and will recommend him and the facility to others.
Clean storage, secure, temperature controlled, no issues with humidity or mildew, helpful staff.
Understaffed and the staff who are there don’t respect client’s time. Each time I have gone in, I have waited nearly half an hour to get service, been treated like an inconvenience, and the office staff are very disorganized. No one ever answers the phone either. Do better.
I dropped a rental truck at this location as well as renting a storage unit. The process with the storage unit went well and there were no issues. I however have an issue with the rental return. I picked up a 15 foot truck in Medford Oregon on Saturday June 27th. When I picked up the truck it was very low on gas and I asked the attendance what is the process for fueling. I was told to return the truck with the same amount of gas as when I picked it up. I returned the truck with the exact amount of gas to the Beaverton location but then last night got a bill for $54 in fuel charges. I called the store and was told they will look into it. I am not sure why I was charged for fuel when I returned it exactly the same amount of fuel as I picked it up with. I think this is taking advantage of customers and a sneaky way to get some additional money from the customer. I will certainly dispute this charge if a credit is not give to my account. This is no way to treat a customer.

The office always has a line. Maybe they need to hire more staff?
The staff were very loud so it was hard to hear to process my reservation. Besides that, my reservation was lost and had to be created which took much longer than expected. The paperwork there is duplicative and wasteful. Why can't the storage contract be emailed? Why did I have to fill out my insurance information twice? These seem to be mostly systemic issues and not the fault of the particular location.

Unprofessional, poorly managed, and rude staff
other than long wait times in line, excellent.
other than very long wait times in office lines to pick up the truck/van and arrange for storage, getting from california to oregon with a 15' foot, returning it, and then putting stuff in storage was a breeze. next day, picked up a 10' van to transport from storage into a condo. HOWEVER, was not informed needed to provide home owners insurance coverage information for storage and that would have been helpful to know when reserving.
There were only 2 Uhaul employees behind the counter at 3:30 on a Sunday. Also the 1st day of the month. The line was out the door. I was told the gentleman was going to put a lock on my empty storage unit and then I could leave. He never came back. 10 minutes later someone else finished the transaction but only by telling me he would send me and email.
Jeffery at the beaverton location was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend! Give that man a raise!

Go someplace else. Take pictures before & after renting a vehicle or move into storage. So when they try to charge you bogus fees you can get them removed. Be persistent, use the 800 cust service #.
Not a good experience. There was a lot of miscommunication that frustrated me and obviously annoyed the employees. If things had been communicated clearly, there wouldn’t have been any issues.

Auto pay option doesn’t work online. 2 customer service people at peak time with customers waiting 30-min isn’t good business. Front desk closed my unit and eliminated my access code before I exited.

The gate was not working properly , my code dont work and I can only get in when uhaul is open Tripled the cost of my move had to miss work and. Hire people because of the fact when I can get in.
I had to walk back and forth from the storage unit to the office a couple times. Which in itself is no big deal. However there was no clear signage as to where to go or how to get into the office.
The gentleman that checked me in was very rude he kept on wanting me to hurry up and get out of the truck I’m 62 years old disabled and it takes me a while to get down from an elevated position

My experience here at the Beaverton Uhaul was quick, easy and as expected.
I was disappointed to learn that the unit rental was not pro-rated as I paid for a full month but vacated on the 14th. I was told "No refund". My payment of $245 was made on the 6th.

This is a good Uhaul Center. I have experienced far worse. China is an outstanding representative of this facility

It’s a tough areato navigate, get items from vehicles to storage units. Staff and facility is fine... but the old layout makes it tough to recommend.
