Owner Andrew refused to contact Harley for my refund after I stating she requested him (Andrew u-haul owner) to call her for the process of the refund. He stated â€œOh, knowing them they already processed itâ€â€¦.. they never did until the 29th and I turned my trailer in weeks before. Do not trust u-haul or the owners they do not care about you or the contract just the money they get. Andrew seemed really excited to get my trailer a day early to then sell a contract for that same trailer to leave the very next day.Micheal S.

Aaime was exceptionally helpful. I called the day before to meet the next morning and when I arrived she greeted me with a smile and had paperwork ready to go. I originally had a reservation for the Meridian location. I called the day before to change my reservation to the following day. When I arrived to pick up the cargo van I had reserved I was told it had been cancelled. I waited for an hour for another truck or van to arrive. I was then told I had to drive to Ferndale to pick up. I was charged full price for the rental even though I had to drive to a new location and waste 2 hrs of my day, which was supposed to be used moving, dealing with Uhauls mistake. Not happy, I should not have been charged at all.Monica S.

Aimee and the staff at Ferndale Uhaul were incredible! I continue to have excellent service, including with Uhaul Traffic, who helped me problem solve a dilemma with delivering my Ubox to a remote location. The on-line reservation system worked, but I had to call to confirm that the reservation had been made, and waited 20 minutes to get the answer. The program had locked me into joining the website and then would not recognize my new password. I would rate the on-line reservation system as poor.KAREN S.

In Sacramento, majority of Uhaul personnel did not understand how the computer programs work. It was a complete disaster. However, in Ferndale it was the complete opposite. Manager Andrew and his associate Aimee are both GEMs in your company.Brent H.

This was easily the worst experience I have ever had moving. There was constant confusion among staff, poor communication, and we were charged an outrageous amount with added additional fees every time we talked to someone. Our belongings arrived in Denver on 6/7 and we were told they would be delivered to Boulder on 6/12 (and charged the full amount at that time). When they didn't arrive, we were told â€œoh no, they aren't coming until 6/20â€ (TWO WEEKS after they had been in Denver. Then we were charged an extra delivery fee of 100 $when we had been told we had already paid the full amount. I will never be using uhaul again. All this happened after our original uhaul truck reservation was canceled and we had to live without any belongings for a month. Also, the Uboxes themselves were in terrible shape with the doors nearly falling off. I'm very surprised they arrived in one piece. I used to love uhaul, but this experience has been horrible enough to turn me off for good.Jacob I.
Very unhappy. Would never recommend. My boxes were to be at my home on June 10th per Spokane office. I was informed when I got to Ferndale that there was no truck available to deliver until July 10, thus costing me another months rent and much inconvenience. But I could bring one at a time! 8 boxes later, 10 days later we had our things. Couldn't afford to hire help for that many days so my 77 year old partner and myself (70) unpacked them. We felt mislead and ripped off. Fortunately our last move. The staff at Ferndale was very helpful even if they were in the middleKathy E.

Management was pleasant and easy to work with has a good sense of humor. facility is handicap accessible the office has a cool ramp.. the door is a little heavy. the storage units are insulated and heated which is really nice. I registered online for smartphone pickup. When I got there phone said it was available but no truck matched the number. I had to go inside only to discover that the "supervisor decided to hook it up to a trailer" which I did not order. The attendant then had to back out my online order and restart from scratch twice, due to conflict issues. This was not convenient. The excuse was given that it was the computer system. This was either a cover-up of the supervisor's mistake or the online system needs radical improvement.Ron D.

The general manager, Andrew Haldane, was by far the best U-Haul employee I have ever worked with. I tried to call the U-Haul hotline a few times and I wasn't quite getting what I needed. I decided to stop by the ferndale location in person and Andrew made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely recommend this location and will continue to use it for all my future needs.Benjamin Y.

I arrived to pick up a trailer. The person on duty had no idea what he was doing. Kevin is a nice person who tried very hard, but U-Haul did not provide him with the training he needs to be successful. Kevin had no clue how to process my reservation and totally unable to process the guy in front of me in line. I waited 45 minutes before I could even talk to him with one person in front of me in line. My checkout should have been fast as it was pre-arranged online. I arrived to pick up my trainer in Shoreline at 9am. My guaranteed trailer was not there. I was diverted to Ferndale for an 11am pickup for a different trailer. I arrived at 11:10 and waited until 12:30 to pickup this trailer. We missed the move-out time at my son's apartment because of U-Haul screw up. I should have had this trailer at 9am as scheduled/guaranteed and as we planned the move out. I am very disappointed with this experience.DAVID EUGENE G.

We are from Canada and because we cannot get across border to retrieve our boxes from the sale of our place in Arizona, the Manager Cheyenne at the Ferndale, Washington location went above and beyond to help us. She was very professional, friendly and because of our circumstances made the transition very smooth. Everyone who works at the Ferndale location are super friendly and get you checked in and in your vehicle quickly. The van I rented was very clean and like new. U-haul rep Gabe was not the greatest rep. I rented another one way truck a month or so ago at another location and it went well. Gabe told me it was u-haul's corporate policy that the alternate phone number be called to verify it is accurate or he couldn't rent to me?? I have never heard of this. Furthermore, the truck was filthy outside and I had to clean the windows and mirrors myself.Kenneth M.
