Quick and easy. No further comment. I see there's no area for further comment, when uhauls are rented it's to move, a stressful time. I HATE that when I pick up a truck the first stop has to be a gas station. I want it full when I rent it and I prefer to return it full so there's no guesswork upon return. Ended up returning well over our required amount. FRUSTRATING. And then funny, on intake for it said 1/4 tank, it was well abound that.Liz B.

We were instructed to drop our truck off at 10pm on Saturday. There were 3 customers trying to figure out how to return their trucks at the same time. I tried to drop the keys in the drop box but the drop box was locked "due to high theft". I called customer service, like others. I was instructed to park the truck, lock the passenger door, leave the key under the passenger seat, and keep the driver door unlocked. I told them I needed to double park another truck because the truck return was full and the only other places to park would block through traffic to the lot or take up the only car spots on the lot. The next day I received a message that I may be charged an unlawful parking fee if I didn't get back with the keys. The message was polite but it was clear that there wasn't record of how the car was returned available for them. I called back about 8 times but couldn't get through and the wait times kept saying 40 minutes. I proceeded to drive to the lot but was able to get ahold of them to explain the situation about half way to the lot. Everything with the truck was alright but the pick up and drop off were pretty inconvenient and would deter me from renting again. This is constructive feedback I don't want to be a burden. After I arrived, I parked the truck and went through the online checkout, as directed by a text message I received from uhaul the day of the rental. When I went to deposit the key in the drop-off box as the last step, I was informed by a small sign on the box that the location did not accept after-hours dropoff! I was stuck! I tried to call customer service - was put on hold and no one ever answered. I called the drop-ff location this morning and still could get anyone on the phone there - I was eventually transferred to corporate after a 15-minute hold. A very bad experience. I won't be using uhaul again.James B.

The employee who assisted me was so professional and helpful. I was very frustrated because Uhaul had alrady reassigned my return location to somewhere much further from my new home, then I arrived at 6 am to return the equipment after hours. I cmpleted the whole check in process on my phone, then went to the key drop amd saw that this location doesnt accept after hours drop offs! I was supposed to be at my new job in my new city at 7 am but had to be late. I waited around until the store opened and a super person helped me. But I lost a lot of time and emergy on this and am disappointed.Gail O.

I was rented a 9' cargo van that was not on the premises after I was given the key. I returned to the counter and was given a different key, but was told my contract wouldn't be updated. I also did not receive the packing blankets I paid for. The next day, whomever had taken the van on my contract returned the van with damage, which I was charged for despite paying for damage coverage. When I returned the van, I was told the manager would call me to reconcile this issue, but I never heard back. I will not be returning to this U-Haul location in the future.Timothy V.

I originally booked my Uhaul rental at 1119 NW Leary Way Seattle WA, because this was the closest rental site to the moving I needed to do. I was very displeased with Uhaul that this site did not have the right size truck so they moved my reservation to InterBay (This was not communicated in the reservation details) which was out of my way and took extra time to drive and pick up the truck. The attendant at The Ballard Uhaul would not rent me another size truck to help me out. He said all of his trucks had been booked for the afternoon, and even though I told him I just needed it for the morning, he did not want to risk me not getting back in time. I have rented the same 17' truck from this Ballard Uhaul three years in a row now and would have appreciated more communication that my reservation had been moved. I have never received kind customer service from anyone at the Uhaul in Ballard and will have to look elsewhere for future rentals. The Uhaul at Interbay was very kind very fast and friendly they were just out of my way for what I was doing that day.James R.

Filthy truck bird poop everywhere had to wait for them to clean but even then not great. Check engine light on all the time. They said truck had been sitting under tree for two months so time couldn't have been an issue...lazinessJIM L.

I had to wait 25 despite having delayed my pickup time of my van by one hour. After waiting 20 min, I commented," You guys need to have another person." Once I did get the keys to the van, it was blocked in by another van. They expected me to drive over the river rocks, sidewalk and curb into moderate traffic going the T-bone way. They said, "We do it all of the time." She said, " You have insurance don't you?" I told her, "Just back up the van behind the van you have assigned me to" She told me she had a line of people and go back to the guy that just helped me. He was helping someone else and had told me to go to her! That was after I had located the van they had assigned me to. He finally backed up the other van. I was EXPECTED to back up the van I was to take. There was only inches clearance on either side. It took me more than 13 minutes because the mirrors were having to be pushed in from the other vans. She then admitted, THEY (meaning U-HAUL) hasn't given us another person. THEY NEED TO HIRE ANOTHER PERSON. They didn't have time to do a walk around for damage which I videoed before I left. The left window didn't go up or down. I was there one hour 15 min. although they checked me out on the paper as 45 min. before that.CHERIE R.
The truck only had 1/4 tank of gas but it showed 1/2 on the paperwork. So, please reimburse the extra gas fee. I also filled the tank to just under 1/2 when I returned it. So, I returned it with more gas than when I checked out.JESSE B.

The shocks on the vehicle I drove were practically nonexistent, and the after hours drop off was not possible. Moreover, I was not informed about the lack of ability to drop off the vehicle after hours and I was shamed for having a problem with it the next morning. When returning the uhaul the personnel was quite rude, and marked my drop off as an additional day, please make sure to complete the drop off on your own or while you are on site.Shubham K.
They do a scheme here. If you hire their services make sure to track the mileage and do not fall for the 17 $credit discount they claim to offer because of the 1/4 gas tank. Make questions you will see the logic behind does not match. In the end, they will advise that an email will be sent to you with the receipt. Suggesting you do not need to stay there and wait for the receipt. Do not leave, stay there and request your receipt in person. I did trust on their explanation prior to use the truck and after I received the receipt by email I saw the extra charges.DANIEL R.

Really understaffed at peak periods. There was only 1 clerk available on a Sunday morning. So, long wait. Aside from that service was good. It sure would be nice if there was a nearby parking option -- this U-Haul store is directly adjacent to another parking lot that would be great to leverage for short-term rentals.Douglas L.

All their trucks were booked and the person who had mine before me had not returned it by my pick-up time. This is, of course, not U-haul's fault - the staff were very apologetic, they took down my number and called me as soon as the truck returned (2,5 hours later) and was sanitized. Great customer service! I'm glad I scheduled in a buffer time to my move.George F.
I believe UHaul could accommodate parking on site. I had to wander to find a parking spot (which had hour restrictions), and then cross a very busy street. This particular location appears to have room to park quite a few customer cars. I would warn potential customers that this is a major drawback to using UHaul.Rich B.

The specific Seattle Uhaul location was excellent; however, Uhaul as an organization needs significant improvement. When the rental reservation was originally made, there was no apparent issue. However, upon showing up at the designated reservation time and place, only then were we told of an outstanding issue with the renter. The corporate customer service was extremely unhelpful and rude thus providing no assistance in the matter. The whole ordeal took over an hour to resolve and we ended up having another individual make a reservation, which only delayed the overall move resulting in us not being able to move all the items that day.TRAVIS C.
The online Truck pickup experience is legitimately worse than the in-store experience. Sure, you can skip the line in store. In exchange, you get to wander around the lot looking for trucks that are not there like you're in "Trains, Planes, and Automobiles". Took me a full hour to take all the required photos, get approved, get key, find truck, etc. I watched people arrive after me and leave before me.MATTHEW B.

U-haul either didn't read the mileage BEFORE I took the cargo van or AFTER because I was charged for driving 56 miles when I drove 17,5 and now I have to fight to get my money back. Of course I didn't take photos because I thought u-haul was capable of reading mileage and I was wrong. That's a 40 $or so mistake that I now have to pay for.Kenton W.
