I apologise... Last night I was supposed to meet my ex there at 4..to move my belongings out of his storage into mine but he didn't show until 9:30. I went out at 9:58? Then thought i left my bank card by storage door entrance. . And by the time I got to the gate..it was 10:00 on THE NOSE. And I had to lock my bike up by a inside pole.. And jumped the side gate... SORRY lol

Taking advantage of their offer for a free unit with a truck rental was a huge money saver. Just be aware the rent is due 30 days from move in, not the end of the month.

Both locations were great. The truck itself ran well and was clean. My only complaint is that a lot of water got into the truck and multiple items ended up pretty wet, including 2 queen mattresses.

The employees were great, but U-haul policy is terrible. I had to pay for three days truck rental and insurance for a one day move. I won't be renting from U-haul again.Then to add insult to injury I was billed for an extra day. Done with U-Haul.

Question additional charge of 39 $for another day of rental. Picked up on 11/21/20 at 7:23am and returned at 11pm on the same day. Not sure how two days of rental charges can be charged for one day of use. Sounds like Uhaul is gouging customers for additional charges, makes me want to make my next rental truck at the competition and to encourage all my friends and associates to do the same.

When I called to make a reservation the person I talked to had an attitude with me that I didnt understand and was kinda rude. When renting the vehicle the tank was not full and although i understand i should have marked how much the tank was at I was charged 17 dollars for 4 gallons of gas, now that is expensive and really surprising that uhauls are so has inefficient when I only drove 25 miles in total. The tank was not full, yet I was charged for it anyway. When I brought that up I was told I could fill it myself or eat the fee.

When I got the enclosed trailer home it reeked like someone was smoking pot inside. I took it hunting and had all my gear in it. I told the person when I turned it in that I would like a discount off my bill.

Most miserable move in at a storage ever. Only one door that could be used and it was way far from my unit. I was told 64 over the phone for the unit and upon arrival told 99. It was a very tight area to maneuver a 26ft uhaul. The only door that was allowed to be used locked and said that I wasn't signed in so had to go out and sign in again then trek all the way back and down the long long hall to put the lock on. The floors were filthy and the huge rodent poison trap kept falling apart. All around will never suggest this place for storage. The ceilings in the units are all exposed nails and spray insulation with a flap of plastic over about half of the unit.

There was a “Check Engine” light upon initial startup of the vehicle. This should not happen if the vehicle is properly inspected prior to rental. A process change to do a walk through of the intended vehicle before paperwork would simplify the process. In my case a second truck had to be selected and additional paperwork.

Pretty much all of it was the worst experience I've had with U-Haul. I've rented a lot of equipment from various U-Haul locations and the Oregon Way location in Longview provided far and away the worst customer experience to date. Snarky, unhelpful counter reps and staff that purport to know what a burned fuse looks like sent me on a lengthy, expensive, and frustrating quest to fix a problem that didn't exist but which prohibited me from renting equipment. I made three trips to the U-Haul for one rental and endures three transactions to get one piece of equipment. Excellent customer service is not terribly difficult to provide and 3/4 of the staff (literally three of four people) I interacted with failed miserably.

No clear signage or information indicating where to park the truck after hours. People where parking and leaving their trucks in the middle of the entry lane.

Due to circumstances out of my control I was not able to return the trailer for 2 extra days. I made sure that I was there to return on the 3rd day before the store opened and yet I was still charged with a 3rd day of having the trailer. I found that very frustrating

It was at night. Longview is super sketchy at night. They need more lighting in the parking lot. A very petite woman dropping of a UHaul after dark alone needs a little more security going on. Location was fine, but the first drop off location was an hour and a half from where we were located. When I called, the woman sounded as though I was bothering her. She told me the drop off location was where I indicated. It was in another state! She did however get it moved to the correct location without a hassle. Not very pleased with our experience overall.

The car condition was not comfortable. It makes me scary to driving 600 miles. Hope newer car is better for long distance to drive with rental car. It was good other than uncomfortable during to drive.

No explanation was given for the basics. Like gas use, what type of gas, keep my contract with me, took forever to sign me in because the online check in wasn't working, then had to check me in a second time because I was paying in cash. No where on the site or when I was reserving it, told me there would be a 100 $deposit. I was lucky to have that in cash. I was then told to go to a drop off in Vancouver, but I asked to go to a Portland location that is closer because of the pay per mile and I had to Lyft from the drop off location. They told me St. Johns location was a corporate location and I could get my cash deposit back there. I went to St. Johns and they told me my drop off location was in Vancouver. Very unhappy with this because I was told by the St. Johns location I would have to pay a fee to leave it there, and I was running late for work at that point because I had to wait 30 minutes to figure everything out that Longview location didn't. And the Longview location would not pick up.

The staff is great. I watched one clerk deal with a very very very obnoxious customer and towards the end not even the most experienced worker would have been able to keep their cool. But she was calm and didn't even show a hint of irritation even though we all knew it was there. My problem with this facility is the fact that for one there is no elevator to the second floor. What if you have really heavy items. There should be something in place. My second concern is the second story storages on the second floor. Climbing those rickety stairs with heavy objects is a unbelievably dangerous and unnerving task.

Almost impossible to reach by phone. Not very helpful staff. Nothing but problems with access codes and things because people didn't bother to set me up properly. My storage unit leaked and the resolution was to use tape to hold the sagging insulation material up.
