I would never do business with uhaul again. Had this storage locker for approx 4 years, never late with a payment except once when it was overlooked. Payment was 1 day late and was paid as soon as it was discovered. Misty tacked a $50 fee on that locker and said that was not refundable because that was the auction fee to auction the contents of the locker. Are you kidding me? Tried to resolve this with Misty and corporate office to no avail. So uhaul for $50 YOU LOST YOURSELF A GOOD CUSTOMER. HOPE IT WAS WORTH IT FOR YOU.i will be telling all my friends about your business practices and advising them to take their business elsewhere.Have a great day

the cab of the truck was filled with trash when I picked up - under and behind the seats - filled a 13 gallon trash bag. new truck with 3200 miles, alignment was off and the truck was difficult to drive, problems with the Advance Track system as well

Upon entering this location we immediately smelled the stench of marijuana. The customer service rep didn't even stand up to greet us, was eating a mcdonald's meal and chewing while she interacted with us. She was not interested in transacting business. In addition to the CSR, there was a minor aged girl along with an infant, who as we entered the building, scurried into the back area and out of sight. Our CSR was poorly dressed and had areas of her body inappropriately exposed for a business setting. I would not return to this location.

When I picked up my vehicle to rent I was told that the location was open until 5 PM. I wanted to settle the bill in person because I had to go to two different Uhaul locations in order to get the vehicle I needed. The second location was further from the first by 12 miles and since it is charged for by mileage, I did not want to pay for this difference. When I returned the rental vehicle at 2:45PM the office was closed and no one was to be found. The vehicle itself was fine, but the service on uhauls part was sub-par.

not friendly - when I returned i did exactly what they asked(returned key to outside return). They called me the next day and said I did not return vehicle. If they would have check key drop or just looked out front window they would have seen that I did. Only used it for 2 hours and returned it. No one metioned any kind of return process and no one was around to turn over equipment to.

I rent pickups throughout the spring and summer to perform lawn care on rental properties. I've used this location all summer without a problem however, this past Wednesday I attempted to reserve a truck for the forthcoming Friday I was told by the young lady working that there was no record of my rental history and that I needed to give my credit card number in order to reserve a truck which is something that I never had to do in the past. This particular employee had a very funky additude and as a long time customer I didn't appreciate that. The following day I called over the phone and my reservation was made and I picked up the truck as I had all summer.

Absolutely awful people that work there. Scammers! Charging me for fuel when I returned the truck with more gas than what it had when I picked it up. I took pictures of the gas level when I picked up and when I returned - they don't care. Apparently it's my fault for not fixing it in some link I should've received upon returning the truck- I did not receive a link, can prove it in my text messages with all the other texts I actually did get from UHaul for this reservation. Hanging up on your customer that has been trying to talk to you for a week? Shame on you!

We moved from Indiana a year ago, and this was our first experience with using a storage facility. A few months back we were able to downsize our unit, and it was so easy. Everyone we met or had dealings with were extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely use UHaul again and would highly recommend the facility in Menomonee Falls. Very clean, easy to access, and the staff there is outstanding. Thank you for a great experience.

The girl who took my reservation initially and who was there when I picked up the truck could really use some customer service training. She barely acknowledged me either time, no eye contact at all, and when she spoke, it was almost inaudible. It was impossible to get any kind of facial expression from her - sure makes you feel like you were a nuisance to her. Very disappointing. She really could use more in depth training.

First time at this location but have used other locations in the past. Young lady at counter , Betsy Kalata, stated she was a traveling manager. Told me that I would Need a major credit card to rent certain vehicles there and that it could not be a debit card. I told her I've used the debit card I had in the past. She then stated the policy came out in the last two months. I told her I had rented a week ago with no problem Ann's asked to see that policy. She first stated it was not written down but I should check the website. I checked the website and found exactly the opposite of what she told me. She then said it was a Milwaukee policy due to the number of accidents and unreturned vehicles. I reminded her that this was not a Milwaukee location. Seems Betsy had instituted her own policy for people that looked like they were from Milwaukee. When I requested her information and told her that I would be contacting the corporate number she went through with the transaction. This young lady making 14 dollars an hour is a terrible reflection of UHaul

The entire facility was impeccably clean- the grounds, the paved areas, the windows, all of the surfaces in the storage area. Everything looked and smelled brand new, even though the facility has been around for probably 10 years now. It's hard to believe that such a big place can be kept up so immaculately. I felt my stored items were completely safe and I felt completely safe there, even as a 66-year old bringing items there alone. Misty is friendly, knowledgeable and obviously runs a very tight ship there. I would highly recommend her storage facility and would note that I've had identically positive experiences renting her moving trucks and vans.

Horrible every time I called " Misty " she always seems like she don't wanna work or has an attitude, nobody told you to work at Uhaul. Also when we moved out we got a Uhaul truck from them, they said the tank was on 3/8 of a tank and it wasn't when we got the truck it was on E. They charged us 59$ for gas which we will be disputing the PAYMENT with our bank because we have pictures and proof of the before and after gas when we put gas back in it. Uhaul on pilgrim rd menomonee falls is a huge scam I would never recommend this to any of my friends or anybody I know! Plus the location is dumb I used GPS and it sends me all over the map all the time and it's very inaccurate. Next time I'll be going with a different Uhaul company! They just hire anybody everybody that works there act like they don't even know what they are doing. RUNNNN!

My big beef was 2 rate increases within 5 months of each other. On top of that, the public areas were always littered with garbage and the entrance gates were often damaged.

I was charged for 2 extra days. The manager at the location was very rude. Rolled her eyes and told me I "couldn't have given her the keys because she wasn't there", when she was in fact, the one I gave my keys to. Ended up being charged $151. For a $57 dollar order. Then charged the correct 57 dollars and 151 was refunded but not right away which caused me to get an overdraft fee from my bank. Horrible experience.

Being the first time we had rented from this location and booked online, it would have been nice to have been informed about the need to do the online vehicle check before we set off. The online verification was easy to do, but we had already driven two miles to the gas station before seeing the notification.

When I went to pick up the cargo van there was a warning for low tire pressure. I was told that it was probably due to cold weather but since there was a warning, the tire pressure was low regardless of why. I tried a second van with same issue. The third van showed OK so that's what I rented. This van worked fine and I had no issues. Overall the equipment was clean and in good shape but if there's a warning light showing it should be taken care of before being handed off to a renter.

Always a problem trying to call the facility to pay my monthly bill. Hard to get thru on the phone. Misty does a great job. All staff was very helpful. Conner gave away my 10'x 10' , I had to go with a 10'x 15', it turned out I needed that much space, so it turned out ok.

Overall, it was nice. There was a siding piece that kept coming off, but it didn't affect our usage. Towards the end our rental, we saw a big dent on the pillar to the right of our door, that was not made by us. Again, it didn't affect our use of the storage but we just would have liked a heads up/ notification in case any damages to our things.

I rented a 10x20 storage and got (2) 5x10 and (1) 10x10. I got the square footage, but it was harder to get my furniture in because the doors where smaller and the corridors limited. I was expecting one large 10x20 storage with a garage door. They should have disclosed this difference with me prior. Smaller doors made a bid difference (was harder)

I picked this place because it has entrances that are covered. If you pick indoor climate controlled, you can get to your stuff at anytime and not have to worry about the weather. Having been in storage many times, I can tell you that this was well worth the price. Everything was great except until they put smelly air fresheners in the outlets during October- that's why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5. As someone who greatly dislikes almost all air freshener smells, it was overwhelming when they first put them in. It lessened by the time I left so it wasn't quite so smelly.

Forcing the use of subpar locks that are easily picked or shimed is very concerning regardless of the security measures in place. I find that detestable and forcing a user to waive all rights to seek judgement if your subpar lock is compromised and theft occurs. I find it reprehensible and even question the legality of that.

I placed an online order for a 10x10 which was offered on your site for that particular location. Upon my arrival I was given 2 units across from each other App To be equivalent to 10x10 I was expecting to have all of my belongings in one unit as I ordered online however, the agent in the office stated that they had no 10×10 available. This should not have been available online if there was no actual unit available . I was very disappointed considering the process of moving is challenging and frustrating by itself.

I did get locked inside the facility one time due to not being aware that the security measures changed (needed key card to leave). I was inside for about 1,5 hours on the phone with uhaul security with no call from management or attempt to ease the situation. Other than that it was great.

I booked my uhaul storage unit online. I got an email saying that I can use my passcode to enter the building and no check in is required. Upon trying to enter with my passcode, I was getting access denied. I then went into the office to see why I couldn't access and they informed me that access codes aren't used anymore and instead key cards are used. No where in the email communications I recieved indicated I needed key cards or would need to check into the office first to get my key card. I was able to find my storage unit after that which was helpful with the map. When I got to my storage unit, it had a plastic tag through it saying it was customer ready, but no indication that I should cut the tag off. I just assumed thats what I needed to do and ripped the tag off but I could have done that to any of the other units as well. Once I got into the unit, I didn't have my lock in the unit and had to go back to the office to get the lock. In the end, I was able to get everything I needed but involved two trips to the front office to get something that was different than what the email communication told me and the check in process took longer than anticipated. It would be nice to have the emailed instructions reflect the actual move in process to avoid confusion.

The only concern that I had is the outside door that we were to enter into was very difficult to close tight. I did call the office and she came right away and looked at it and said that it would be fixed. Hopefully when I return the door will be closed tight when I enter.

Very satisfied with the facility, price, office staff and convenience. A problem free experience. If I ever need storage facilities in the future, I would definitely use U-Haul again. I highly recommend it. They are so much better than Public Storage, who increase their rental rates by 30 % frequently, and are not very nice to their customers. U-Haul is a refreshing change from Public Storage.

Major rodent problem with this storage facility. There was urine and rat droppings on multiple items in my storage locker. I had to spend significant time cleaning and sanitizing items after removing them from storage. Very disappointed in the lack of pest control in this facility.

I was not happy with the woman who worked there when I came to bring my stuff in she wouldn't help me get my key or explain to me how to use my card to get access to the gate.

The staff was fantastic and the facility felt brand new! I trusted my belongings there! Though - the parking lot is a little cumbersome when you park and go into the office. Otherwise, I wouldn't have wanted to keep my stuff anywhere else!

I was let into the storage facility because my key didn't work with the explanation that by the time i was ready to leave it should be good to use. When i attempted to leave, the facility had closed and my key did not work and no one answered the intercom. I was outside the building but behind the gate with a trailer in tow and was stuck in the storage facility for 1/2 hour. I walked the grounds until i found an open door and manually opened exit overhead doors to gain access to the main entry overhead door and essentially drove out the entrance against traffic flow to get out. Make sure your key works before you enter.

We arrived and storage unit was ready to go but too small for what we needed. It was extremely easy to upgrade to a larger unit and costumer service was excellent

Unit was mostly clean, just a few bits of dirt and cardboard on floor, otherwise nice. "A light bulb in any unit over a certain size, would be helpful, but we managed ok.

Directions to the storage locker the first time were a bit sketchy. The map does a poor job of describing the facility and thoroughly explaining the layout. Color coding or somehow further describing the facility would go a long way toward making it easier. Beyond that issue, the place appears to be very nice and may even qualify as "Excellent"!

Climate Control Inside and Drive up. Also non climate control inside and drive up.Well lite hallways and nice music playing over the speakers. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff.

When moving out I broke glass when I asked the office for a broom and dust pan she said she would bring it to me. A young lady I think her name was Angelina came over and cleaned it up for me. She even took a broken box to the trash for me. Thanks for helping me out. Location is very clean and all the staff are super friendly. Would go back for any future storage needs.

There always seems to be something broken at this facility. Key swipe devices to open gates always seem to be down somewhere on the site. Staff can be stand offish and inconvenienced by a question.

Roof pours water down in front of units, also forms large dangerous icicles. We had to shovel out in front of our unit several times because plowing was terrible. Moved items elsewhere. Staff rude.

Sign-in was very quick, and sign-out quicker. When you have a load to store, you don't want to be held up by paperwork. We had a horrible time moving this summer, but it was made easier with U-haul.
