There was something wrong with the loading ramp. It comes all the way out and falls to the ground, and it makes it really hard to put it back in. My finger was smashed, trying to get it back in.

All things ran well accept the interesting way.You have of charging the estimated amount and then waiting 3 or 4 days to post the actual Amon.My bank card. Kind of confusing.It looks like you charged me too much and then out of the blue that disappeared and the real amount came on my account. But at this time all is well thank you.

The high price per gallon you charge to top off the tank of a vehicle suggests you would in fact top off the tank of such vehicles, so it is particularly irritating to be given a vehicle with an empty tank. It's a hassle to have to start out my rental going to the gas station. Vehicles need to be ready to go - out of gas is hardly "ready".

Rented U-Haul truck from the people next door to the U-Haul place. The seat wouldn't go up, he battery was dead. This place, great battery, seat moved, much nicer assistance and personnel

Have adequate trained staff present. I made a reservation for a one week rental over 10 days ahead of time onky to be told they didn't have a trailer at that location as reserved. After 45 minutes on the phone Uhaul said I would have to go to a different location if I wanted a trailer. During the rental I was told I would be reinbursed for a hitch extention on return with the receipt. This was denied as a policy when I returned. Odd incompetence to make something up. The day before the trailer was due back a rude employee call me arguing with me about the return date. I told her I paid for 7 days she lied (assuming she should have known having a copy of the agreement in your system) and said it was only 5 days. Trailer door obviously was in need of lube or repair. Disappointing! If you had true Customer service you would move your trailers to the location where you committed to the customer. Furthermore I had been told Uhaul would compensate some way for the inconvenience but this did not happen.

Representative that I spoke to on the phone reserved the wrong size truck for me. Good thing they had a 20' available. That could've messed things up if it wasn't available... Double, triple check with them to make sure it's correct if you speak with them via phone

Make the online process easier. I know this location has nothing to do with this, but it needs to be said. It's kind of ridiculous that I submitted my credit card number, a picture of myself, pictures of my driver's license, and then still was told I needed FURTHER verification? I submitted information for someone to call a third person to verify me and... he wasn't even called.

Wow - never thought I would be a huge fan of a U-Haul location but EVERYONE I worked with at this U-Haul was totally amazing, customer-oriented, and super patient. Due to some unforeseen family circumstances, I inadvertently turned into a really challenging customer in terms of making changes, lots of phone calls, needing lots of help, etc. etc. This team, every one of them, was patient and kind and really understanding. Couldn't believe how welcome they made me feel. They will 100 % be getting my U-Haul and other rental business. THANKS GUYS!

Worst customer experienced, they charged me extra for equipment that was missing, when I explicitly told them that I had it in the back of the truck and the associate confirmed it. Then they charged extra for gas, when the needle did not move (I took a picture). And also for after hours return, with no warning given when I rented it. They just cheated me with $40, but considering that they were trying to cheat me with $130 with the missing equipment, I guess I should be settled? The bad ratings on google should have given me the first warning, now I've learned the lesson. You lost a customer.

This was a horrible experience. I was given a faulty truck and was blamed for the truck becoming faulty while in my possession, which was less than 1 day into my 6 day rental. I returned the vehicle to the lot and was told to move it off the lot across the street and call roadside assistance. I decided to call roadside and wait in the lot. No call came back after 15 minutes, so I left. The problem I had was a leaky gas tank. The leak only shows if you fill the tank more than 1/4 tank. I was given a truck with just a little less than a 1/4 tank. I put 7 gallons of gas in it and drove to my shop to pick up supplies for a trade show. When I exited the vehicle, I could see that gas was leaking, and I moved the vehicle away from the building. I called the lot at 7am when they opened and told them that I had a leaky tank and was going to need a different truck, even if it was smaller. I was put on hold as I drove to the lot. I was still on hold when I arrived to the lot and ended the call. I was met by the manager who told me that I needed to move the truck off the lot and across the street. I was told that I was not getting a new truck because this happened during my possession. She new the truck was fine when she gave it to me. After being told to leave the lot by the manager, and refused help and a solution, and being ignored by the roadside assistance, I decided to go to my trade show 30 miles away. Four days later I drove back and parked the vehicle at my warehouse, all the while never adding gas. When I added gas on the sixth day of the rental and returned the truck, I added just enough so it would not leak and it still had a 1/4 tank in it, just like the truck was rented to me. I ask anyone reading this to think of.. " why someone would drill a hole in my gas tank and not take gas?" The tank never leaked until I added gas. Also, why would the manager immediately blame me without looking at the truck? Why was I refused assistance while at a lot and told to call roadside assistance?

I didn't need any moving supplies, but the invoice included a hand truck/dolly and furniture pads ( which were not in the truck). The customer service representative promptly removed those items from the invoice-kudos for the customer-focused response. A better scenario would have included confirming that those items were desired (or not) at the time of check out.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful when the U-haul systems/servers were completely down and inoperable, preventing them from fulfilling reservations. This was a circumstance which was not the employees' fault. U-haul corporate should do more to ensure their technology infrastructure is more resilient. The servers being down frustrated scores of customers and cost business. It took 1,5 hours for me to get the trailer I rented.

not only was my car hooked up improperly and chained to my exhaust pipe unsafely, they also gave me a truck with the tire pressure lights on and gas almost empty and said the light was incorrect because the “vehicles are old and sometimes have lights that show up for no reason” they claimed they checked and filled the tire but did not.

Very disappointed with the service and questioning whether I will use U-Haul again in the future. Online check in was extremely slow and was trying to upsell me on multiple things just to confirm an order. All I wanted to do was rent a truck to pick up furniture I ordered from a store - I was *not* moving, thank you. Beyond that, the online site indicated that I would be able to pick up and drop off at a site much closer to my home and only after the order confirmed did they send and update that I was being moved to a site miles away. When we arrived to pick up the truck, we had to wait in a line for literally 45 minutes - that was after we did the 'online check-in' prior to that to make the pick up easier. Service was extremely slow and this site seemed to be understaffed.

Well this is my experience I tried to do like reservation online I was able to reserve the truck that I wanted but I didn't know that the reservation was not finalized so when I got to the location I didn't have any information for me to explain and still did not receive the vehicle that I wanted so I was a little bit upset with that and had to do a walk-in which cost me a lot more ready than I wanted to spend but I do you like U-Haul

I rented a trailer for auto transport to tow my vehicle behind the Uhaul truck that I rented. The ratchet system was not working properly because it appeared it was dirty/rusty and not maintained. It would not tighten the straps that go around the vehicle tires until a staffmember oiled the system and this occurred after it least 35 minutes spent trying to tighten the straps with the ratchet system unsuccessfully. After the ratchet system was oiled the system started to work better and we we're able to tighten the straps around the vehicle tires. However, about halfway through the road trip to our drop off location for the Uhaul, we noticed during a stop for fuel that the straps holding the passenger front tire in place had completely slipped off. Luckily we noticed it at this time and tightened it up. This could have been a completely dangerous situation. If the other strap had come loose off of the driver's side front tire the car could have come off the trailer and caused an accident. The equipment could have been much better maintained and was not in acceptable condition to be rented out. The amount of money I spent on the Uhaul truck and the auto transport trailer combined should have been more than enough for proper maintenance to have been conducted on the equipment prior to the start of my rental

The app for checking in was not very intuitive, so I had to go inside. Once inside, they were quick to help, but as I was going through the process, they told me they needed an emergency contact. I had already provided one, but they told me I needed 2 emergency contacts. When I go for surgery at the hospital, I have never needed 2 emergency contacts, and I have never rented a car before in my life where they needed 2 emergency contacts, so it is weird that I needed 2 emergency contacts for a 4 hour, 13 mile rental round trip. After returning the car, there was a very long line of people in the store. The employee outside cleaning the vehicles told me to just leave the truck with the keys in it, and I could go, but would get an email or text saying it was checked in. That never happened, so now I am left not knowing if it got checked in, or if someone walking past jumped in and now has a new pickup truck. I guess I will find out eventually.

When I got the truck the fuel tank was empty, I had 7 miles to get to a gas station which was a bit of a bummer. When I went to return the truck no one came out to help with the checkout process. Overall quite an easy and effortless experience though
