My U-box arrived in Pasco, WA and I was not notified at all until I had called U-haul a week after my U-box was supposed to have arrived. This is unsatisfactory by itself. My U-box had time-sensitive stickers on it, so the fact that I wasn't even told it had arrived is pretty bad.

Truck had multiple issues. Bad vibration above 55 mph. Abs light was on when i got truck, eventually turned off. Brake power vacuum brake booster is bad, loud hissing noise when braking with a load in truck. Broken windshield. Driver door did not close and seal well, loud wind sound when driving on freeway.

The gal that checked us in was AMAZING! When we went to return the truck and have boxes bought back, she was very rude because I didn't have a receipt. I said the store can just have them for free because we didn't need them and she seemed irritated that I was even there.

Truck was filthy!! We had to sanitize the cab and the truck had used blankets, bags of garbage, used pop bottles and extra equipment let inside!! Gas was incorrectly reported and we had to fix that with sales rep before we left! When we returned the truck we asked for a discount because we had to clean the entire truck and we were treated so rudely and were basically frowned upon for telling the clerks/manager about everything that was wrong. We are repeat clients and have rented 20+ trucks in the month of November and December and we are really upset to be treated so badly!

Other than the fact that I did not get a climate controlled unit that we requested, and that I got locked inside the building once, our unit was clean, easily accessible and access during business hours was very good. Safety was our major concern and we always felt secure. Overall experience was downgraded only on availability for access to the unit, not on any other factor. thank you!

I overheard the boss telling her employee that they have to cut hours. Yet, when I was there I had to stand and wait forever because there was not enough employee. I also had to waste more miles because I had to go out of my way to pick up and drop off the van I used causing me to spend more money because the milage cost is insane.

When providing assistance and do not go back on your word. Your business said that due to the pass saying oversized vehicles prohibited that I could drive around and you would waive the miles. I had to argue with the manager when turning in the truck to get half of the mileage removed but still got charged. I think that is unacceptable. The manager stated that I was called and told that I could have an extra day to get over the pass. That would amount to $48 waive which would have been great but I was told after I had already been told I could drive around and had driven enough miles that it would have been the same thing financially. I was charged $40 and was told that half of it was being waived. Yet I was charged $36 still. I wouldn't send anyone to your business after having been dealt with like that. It's not right what was done to me.

This was terrible. No one working there was wearing a mask, they were rude, unhelpful, and refused to let me check in with the app and forced me to go inside and do everything through them. They also blocked on the uhaul truck with another truck to make me go back inside again after getting the keys and checking in, and finally finding the truck hidden in the back behind the building. When i asked them to move the other truck blocking in my truck, they seemed annoyed, rolled their eyes, and took their sweet time moving it. The truck size i wanted was changed for a bigger truck, and the location was changed twice as well. This was a crappy experience for me and an unsafe one with COVID.

I reserved a truck & trlr from the Clearwater (Kennewick Wa) location. When u got there at 8 am, they did not have my truck. I was paying $348 to a laborer to load my truck (9am-1pm) but i had no truck to load. Clearwater guy said “there's a truck in Sunnyside Wa (1 hr away). I found the truck & trlr in Pasco Wa, which we rented. The 2 gals in Pasco were awesome. I called several numbers but i was told “i cant help u w/ that” at least 6 times. My last call was to a gal who stated she'd refund me $50. I am so disappointed & will never use Uhaul again. I will certainly tell anyone & everyone what a HORRIBLE experience i encountered

Great storage space. Staff could be better, a lot better. If I need to get another storage unit in the Tri-Cities I will look elsewhere only due to the staff, the facilities were wonderful.

Uhaul needs to be more clear on the rental cost. I was quoted a price online but whrn i went to pickup, not only was it double the price i was quoted but the pickup location was moved 20 miles away from where i had a confirmed reservation at. I will not trust uhaul reservations to get it right ever again.

Out of the way. Originally booked at the Andresen Road locations in Vancouver, this was way out of the way and very out of the way location for what I was trying to do. If renting from Camas, this was a great location, not what I signed up for though. If a vehicle is reserved 3 weeks out, it should be available on the day of pick up. If not a phone call would be most appropriate, follow up with an email. Email doesn't do much good when traveling. Was not happy having to travel 25 mins in the wrong direction and added miles to pick up the truck. Was charged extra for the extra miles which isn't right either

Things do not appear to be running smoothly at this location. Their printer was broken, so I could not get a receipt. Said they would email it, but I haven't received it. But this survey arrived, so the address is right in the system. And I checked junk. Customer came in for propane while I was there but their machine was broken.

The staff is friendly but they weren't helpful. They provided inaccurate information about the delivery time for the boxes, and did not provide updates when things changed. The wait time on the phone is terrible. I was always impressed by how positive and friendly people were on the phone when the place was clearly understaffed. But the inaccurate delivery info caused significant problems. And the fact that the trailers aren't secured when they're left means I could never recommend or use uboxes again.

1. None of the staff or customers were wearing masks during the covid pandemic. Very unsafe for me as a high risk person. 2. The 10' truck drivers seat had a huge rip in the seat and the seat was tilted toward the door. Very uncomfortable. 3. The sunvisor clips on both sides were gone so the visors hung down obstructing my view driving. 4. The ignition was very difficult to find the sweet spot that would actually let the key turn to start the truck. The clerks response was all the 10' truck ignitions are like that. Overall very poor upkeep and safety concerns of truck.

This U-Haul place has Great employees, but the manager does not follow through with problems. I rented a 10 ft truck in California and it broke down in Pasco WA.. They made me rent another truck to finish my trip and charged me for it. The manager was suppose to contact me and I still have not heard anything from anyone, and it has been 3 days. I am very unsatisfied with U-Hauls customer service. You can not even contact a certain place. You have to wait on hold for an hour or so just to try and talk to someone. I will be disputing my charges.

When we picked up the truck we were told it had a full gas tank. Just to be sure we stopped at the gas station a few blocks away and put $20 more in. That seems to be a uhaul practice.

Should have went here first. Spent an hour driving from 2 other locations that had double booked trucks, finally got one here. Very frustrating... especially since I got a call the day before confirming the move from original choice.

My experience with U-Haul for this rental was terrible. I rented a 20' truck on Saturday morning and drove it home, when I pulled the ramp out from the back, the ramp was completely covered in oil, and oil and sludge started leaking on my driveway. It was extremely slippery to walk on and was very dangerous. The vehicle also had a bad smell to it and was smoking. This vehicle was not safe. I returned the vehicle to the Pasco location (where I rented it that morning). I showed it to the employee there. He told me he would mop it/clean it up and then I could take it. I did not feel comfortable taking this vehicle, so I asked if there was another vehicle I could take. He told me they didn't have any other 20' trucks or 26' trucks at their facility. We then called U-Haul dispatch to search for another truck to rent in the area (and we waited for about 15 minutes to get ahold of someone). The best option was a 17' in College Place, which is about 40 minutes away. He told me he had a 15' truck I could take from Pasco. I said that would be fine, but I'd like the mileage fee to be waived because a smaller truck = more trips. He said they can't do that. I then spoke with U-Haul dispatcher over the phone and they told me the same thing. I told them I felt like this was not right and explained my situation on speaker phone in the U-Haul lobby with about 10 other customers listening in. She then got her manager on the phone (Austin). Austin never spoke with me but was able to waive my mileage fees and got a 26' truck reserved for me at another location in Kennewick (which was about 10 min away). I drove over there to pickup the 26' truck and the employee there had no idea I was coming. This rental place had a 26' truck but there was an issue with it so the worker there didn't know if he could rent it out. We had to call U-Haul dispatch again to figure out that I was supposed to take that 26' truck. Three hours after getting my initial 20' truck covered in oil, I left with a 26' truck. This was extremely frustrating and a massive waste of time. My move was negatively affected and we got way behind schedule because of U-Haul. And maybe the worst part about the entire experience was that every U-Haul employee talked with me like this is normal and that this kind of thing happens all the time. Overall, the experience was awful and U-Haul is clearly a company that does not value its customers. It was an extremely disappointing experience and I would never recommend U-Haul to anyone.

The guy who hooked up trailer, and unhooked, in the yard was very polite and professional. The Spanish girl behind the desk and on the phone should not be working there. She was rude, cold, and maybe high on something. I had to keep repeating everything, and she was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Acted like she Hated her job and Hated every customer! Hire better employees !!

I was looking for a truck closer to my location in Kennewick but had to get one here over 15 miles away. There was no offer to reduce mileage even though over 80 % of my miles driven was just picking up and dropping off the truck. The cost per mile and extra fuel made this much more costly than originally planned. There was a line picking up the equipment as well as dropping it off so I had to wait longer than average. I had called earlier to confirm my reservation but was put on hold for over 10 min so I hung up. I had also reserved a hand truck and there was not one available when I got there. I had to go to another more expensive rental place instead because I wasn't informed it was not available until I picked up the truck. Overall this was a poor experience and I expected better from U-haul.

Staff was very friendly they help me get a truck and a storage where I got one months free I’m very grateful for that but the hours for Saturday was till 7:00pm so I had to wait to put my stuff in storage till the next day thought you guys would be open at least a little bit later

Was charged wrong and both times the employees didn't understand what I was asking. I asked to be corrected to out of town fee, one way, instead of 3 times as much for daily in town rates. Not happy. In addition, both times there was an excessive wait time to get help.

The wait to pick up the truck was crazy long. When I walked in there was no one behind the counter. There were people waiting in front of me that clearly had been there for a long time too. It took at l least half an hour just to pick up my truck. The truck was old and crappy. It felt like it was going to fall apart any minute, and the driver's seat was broken. The shop was impressive though. They had lots of moving supplies available to buy. I've never been to a U-Haul store with such a huge selection.

Truck received leaked fuel when pumping fuel into it. Trailer leaked water, getting contents wet. Fuel leaked made truck get 5-6 mpg. I spent $150 bucks in gas (about 50 gallons) When should have only spent about $80 in distance travelled.
