The staff at the Pasco U-Haul were very polite and friendly. The process for completing the rental and subsequent return of the vehicle in Yakima, was very easy and fast to work through. Please also pass on to Williams movers that we appreciated their assistance with loading the u-haul from our storage unit. They were on time, worked hard, offered further help to straighten out the storage unit, any any other assistance they could provide. General manager a nice and helpful guy but his weekend team which I believe was Mike and another guy wearing a willys face mask are horrible at customer service and they need some training on their customer service. Very lazy and were angry at the fact they had to be at work for some reason it was not fault. Don't charge for things that didn't occur. The attendant said I needed to pay because I didn't bring it back full. I told him I took a video of the fuel gauge before I left and showed it to him and he agreed that it wasn't full and said that he would remove the charge. However since I said that I didn't need a paper copy of the receipt and just email it to me, he applied the charge and I didn't see it until I was back home and didn't feel like going back down to argue with him. And in regards to the truck I told him that the check engine light came on and also that the drivers door doesn't shut very well and he should get it adjusted so that the battery doesn't drain. I guess I shouldn't have helped you guys since you have no problems lying to me!Thomas E.

When I originally booked my reservation I picked a location then was called and sent a text that I would need to pick up the truck at a different location and was sent a text with the address. When I got to that address they didn't have my reservation after a few they were able to get me a truck but charged the insurance to me that I didn't ask for and didn't know i was charged for it till after I returned the truck.Kristin W.

Was pro quoted for two days of rental at store on pasco and I told them I only need it for one day and there response was oh when you return it they will reimburse you. I arrived at Pullman uhaul and they said they don't do that.Dayton O.
The site with the U box did not have the correct trailer for self loading. The pick up site mobile highway /fairfield, I called the day before to set up the pick up. I arrived 15 minutes late for the pick up. Two of three staff members did not acknowledge my existence. When looking up my information, the attendant appeared confused. I offered my contract number only to be cut off mid sentence. Yeah, I'm looking at it now. I was told that he had to arrange things and he disappeared. I waited for 30 minutes The box was pulled around front, hooked to my car and I was given paperwork. He said okay have a good one. I asked when the trailer/box was to be returned. There was no clear date given by staff despite a clear date on the paperwork. I returned the trailer/ubox three hours later. There was a line of 4 people and one attendant. He got up and left without a word. As I waited, the attendant, vanished to fill propane tanks leaving the customers waiting with no direction. I ended up disconnecting the trailer myself. I left it there in the same spot I received it. I felt uneasy without someone to say it was O k. There were three staff members at this location. Even if they were untrained, they can at least inquire after the customers needs. This scenario was echoed in the Pasco WA store store too. JoeJoseph D.

The first truck they gave me had an engine warning light come on. I had to return and get another truck, while I had movers at 60,00 $ perf hour waiting. The guy who hooked up the trailer at night did a good job. Then I get to Boise, clean return the truck clean and with the same fuel that was in this second truck when I picked it up. Checked with the U-Haul people there that all was ok because I wanted my deposit back. Now I being billed for almost 70,00 $ for fuel and cleaning, getting screwed. Cannot call the number on your notice because it is in a code, not a phone number.JAMES THERON R.

I scheduled a rental truck and appliance dolly several days in advance since I would be moving many very heavy items that night and the next day. The first surprise was a message letting me know that the U-haul pickup location had changed. Now, I would need to travel further to get the truck and further in the truck, while being charged more for every mile traveled. When I arrived to get the equipment, no appliance dolly was available. Although the U-haul employee attempted to find one for me to rent elsewhere, this took up valuable time. It was late in the afternoon and I had appointments already scheduled. I didn't make it to the other appliance dolly renter before they closed. I had to purchase one the next day as the moving crew was arriving early. As a side note, the truck I rented seemed to have out of round tires as the back end bounced at almost every speed over 15 miles per hour. I was very concerned that large mirrors and glass items would break. Fortunately, driving slow helped to minimize the risk to my items and none were broken. However, I did keep the truck an additional day because we ran out of time for the final load. If I was not driving slowly and chasing misplaced equipment, I would have saved some money by getting done with the move on time and not paying for needless miles due to the change in pick up and drop off location.Timothy C.

The service was horrible. Jason from Pasco was rude to me from the beginning til the end. He even made me wait an extra 20 mins before giving me the keys to the uhaul stating that I should've received a text message with images of the uhaul and a overview of the uhaul i never received the text message Jason stated that it should've been sent immediately and that if I did not get it that there wasn't anything he could besides sent a request to the management who was out on lunch. Jason told me I could not Leave with the uhaul until the text messages was received and authorized by me. I waited patiently until asking another sales reps if he would be so kind and help me retrieve the text messages so that I could leave. The sales rep helped me and even stated that he knew Jason was being rude and he did not know why and even apologized for it. Jason ended up adding extra charges to my contract stating I asked for two days when in fact I only needed it for one day for one 4 hours. I got To the Pasco wa location at 1150 Jason told me to Have the uhaul back at 3pm mind you I waited and extra 20 mins which took time away from my rental Jason did not authorize the time to be extended. He was rude aggressive and very demeaning. He was horrible. I would not recommend this location due to Jason.Turqoise H.

Truck was dirty when picking up. Gas Guage didn't reflect what was on the contract. No explanation of the link sent to check the condition of the truck. The lady said just take pictures and thats good enough. The lady was also not wearing a face mask when she drove the truck around to the front. Truck was not sanitized before I took possession. Jose Jaimez provided terrible customer service. He was very impatient/unprofessional and a liar. I had the truck rental for two days and schedule to return on Thursday morning by 9AM. He told me that I had to return the truck at 9PM on the prior night. I had told him that I needed the truck overnight unloading due to my situation of moving. He got very upset and impatient that I needed that truck that long. I let him know that I had discussed with Spokane headquarter about my situation and that two day rental was very crucial to succesfully move and they agree with my request otherwise I would have gone with Penske. He proceeded to tell me that he didn't care what Spkane had to say on the matter of the contract we had scheduled and confirmed the day before. Very unprofessional referring to customers as "bro". Your manager Yvette Rios made everything smooth as I dropped off my U-haul in, Pasco Wa., and provided me with storage. I was not impressed with my experience in Olympia. I had to go 60miles out of my way to get a trailor for my car. This involved un planned time. It may have been in writing by u-haul but was not communicated by the manager. It was difficult to get a hold of the manager there. She was not present or reacheable by her staff when I had a few issues to take care of. I will say Olympia has an excellent mechanic staff who stepped in to fix my trailor that was broken and figure out the problem so I did not lose my car on the way to Richland. A major part the winch to hold the car was put on backwards. You might want to see how long this part was upside down which could have had devastastng results. The manager was not at the store and I am not sure what they would have done for me if this could not be remedied. The manager and independant operator in Yelm helped me with the trailor and helped me as well to smooth out my overall experience with U-haul in Olympia. Overall my experience was even pretty good at both stores, but overall Yvette was excellent, perhaps she should be promote to a regional manager position. Thank you. The truck was in great mechanical shape and everthing was as smooth as could be when I arrived in Richland. Thank you. By the way the reason I dropped off in Pasco, was the store was open on Sunday and had storage available.
