I had a hard time one person told me one thing and got their it was poor service I will not rent a truck their agine!!!!Terri H.
I reserved reservations online , than by phone but when I made it to the location the day of pickup. The representative stated they didn't have a truck the size in my reservations. I was given a 10 inch uhaul instead of 26 and so that in turn cause me to make several trips. There is a break down in communication and it adds stress to the customers.ELNORA H.

The lady at the front desk for as nice as she could be. But she had told me one price the charged me a different price even after I had told her I couldn't afford it. I was supposed to get a big truck but instead they down graded me to a smaller truck and tried to tell me they upgrade my truck. Then the milage on the truck was off from the milage on the contract. Make sue the vehicle is cleaned for the next customer. I had to clean it out before I could even drive it. It was wreaked with cigarette ashes & butts along with either dog or cat hair. With everything going on with Covid-19 I really was ultimately disgusted with that part of my rental. Had I had any other option I would have left it there & there was only 1 employee there at the time on a Friday, I didn't want to make his day any worse.Other than that everything was fine.MELISSA B.

I was charged for fuel that when they got the truck it was a tad bit above empty and I brought it back like it was. I went to Lowe's and it was not clean there was a dirty napkin in there a board and no moving equipment that I needed.ADENNA C.

The truck window was off track. I called and mentioned it and was offered a new truck. The truck mileage meter was completely off while driving. Stating that I had over 600 and something miles when I only did around 90 something. Overall it was an okay dealing.. but I wouldn't refer to a friend.SHALONDA R.

This place did a fantastic place considering that they didn't know we were renting from them until we got there. We booked at the U-Haul at the U-Haul on Broadway St. in Clinton because it was closer to home. We get there and there is no truck and told us from our reservation number that's it's in Jackson. I have it in my hand saying otherwise. As my husband is driving I get an email saying our truck will be ready at10:30. It comes down to that the Clinton place didn't do their jobs and the person wasn't very friendly. The guy at the Jackson place was amazing and was awesome considering he didn't know we were coming until it popped up on his computer while looking for our name. We would use this place in Jackson again before the one in Clinton.NORMAND P.

The tire was low when we received it and the gas cap wouldn't properly fasten into the gas tank. The inside of the truck had trash and debri in it from the previous customer who used the truck.KIRKLIN J.

Have the truck maintenanced (had low psi in back tires), the check engine light stayed on and it had less than half a tank of gas in it when I initially got in the truck.CANDACE C.

The manager is on a brink of a discrimination lawsuit. The first time that I utilize the service I had place a reservation. The manager gave me a call to discuss the reservation. He literally grilled me asking me my reasons of renting for 24 hours instead of 4 hours as he suggested even thought I am the paying customer. He further tried to dictate the manner of my move to maximize his profits with total disregards for any reasonings of my own plans. Unfortunately the 19,95 truck that I rented did not have a ramp to load heavier appliances. I was able to return the rental at closing time that same day. The manager was at the location. I explained to him that I will be back to patronize the business in a couple weeks so that I can complete my move. I did just that. Setting up another reservation and this time for the proper truck to move my appliances. Yet again the manager was displeased that I paid for a 24 hr rental. By me using the truck a couple weeks before he began to grill me the customer about the nature of my business of renting yet another truck that's traveling to the same address. His well trained thought process is that no one in America take more than a day to move. Real professional right. He then began to ask me for a lease or a utility bill. This is when I began to inform the manager that he is attempting to infringe on my Constitutional Rights. All the documentations that UHaul needed for me to rent was summited and or in hand such as valid licenses debt card or cash literally everything. But this did not satisfy me manager. After yet another vigorous conversation he finally gave me the key. As I'm waiting for a family member to drive my personal vehicle from the premises he approached me yet again. Now I was feed up. He then stated to me that he do not feel comfortable renting me a truck. I explained to the manager that he is discriminating and I want him to be aware of it. His response was that he talks to everybody in the same manner. I then educated the manager on business ethics. Only after I reminded him that I spoke with him after the first rental and told him I will rent again is when he backed down. He was making accusations as if I was doing something sinister with the truck. I felt very disappointed disrespected and embarrassed. My total miles for both rentals was 8 miles. Yes 4 miles per rental. How am I going to run of to another state as he keep saying in 4 miles. This is why I will never returned. I don't like being discriminated and tiers of it. I have to teach my son everyday that it's hard to be a African American these days. Just a message to that manager how is also African American all black people are not criminals and scammers. Some of us work really hard to get where we are and are productive people in AmericaCURTIS S.
The inside of both the front and back of the truck were very dirty. I reserved a dolly, and UHAUL called to notify me they were out of dollys (I thought that was the purpose of reserving). Also, I reserved a truck at a different location and wasn't notified that they transferred my reservation to this location until I made it to the original location. Transferring locations made me have to pay more for mileage. I would not recommend UHAUL to anyone.Kaswana M.

Significantly lower per mile fee. Rented the small 10 foot truck to pick up a washer and dryer I recently bought. Rental fee of 19,95 $ is very responsible but to go from Byram to Flowood a 3 hour rental cost me 72 $and some change. Outrageous I will not be renting from Uhaul in the future I can promise that!Allen B.

You can start by allowing the â€œcustomerâ€ to pick up their rental at the location that was selected and confirmed in the reservation. Myself, and likely most customers, pick certain locations for a reason. If, for whatever reason, the reserved vehicle is not at the proper location for the scheduled pick up time, that should NOT be the customer's problem. Hire some dang drivers and get the rental to the proper place! I spent close to 1 000 dollars with UHaul over a 3 week period recently, but I am done. Maybe this advice will help with future customers.Douglas C.

The was by far the worst U-Haul experience I've ever had. I reserved 8a-12p. I arrived only to find out the store didn't open until 9a. I was still expected to return the truck at 12p. This was an inconvenience, not my fault. And not acknowledged.Lakesha V.
