I had booked online, entered all my info + credit card. However when I picked up the van in person, they had to enter it all again. So was at the site for a while before I could drive off. Did not do the express check-in--maybe that's what held it all up. But not clear.

Very upset that the agent took pictures of the front and back of my drivers license. I asked him not to, but he did it anyway, telling me it was mandatory, despite the fact that I provided my drivers license number. I need to call the location manager to discuss.

The equipment seem to be ok at time of pick up but when I got to my location with the tow Dolly bolts abd and a hook was missing off of the dolly and I decovered a bolt that didn't fit and was just there for esthetics.

Leaking right-rear tire, they said itr was a faulty sensor when I picked it up - just ignore it. Drove almost 400 miles on a low tire. Got worse, had to put air in it every day for near,y a week.

Uhaul needs to be more conscience of their repeat customers!! You also need to be more transparent in your pricing!! I will most likely never rent from you again. I have been a loyal client as I use for business. You have no customer relationships.

The truck inside ahd all of the error lights on- check engine light, tire light, sensor light. The tank was not full as said and I did not get any refund.

Although the employees were very courteous and helpful, through no fault of their own they had consistant trouble with the computer system. The securing straps on the car dolley did not function properly and one came undone after a short distance. The cab of the truck had been sprayed with an air freshner that was overwhelming.

Female employee was clueless. Internet i was informed was running slow. It took an hour to confirm my reservation and get the truck. Upon exiting male employee apologized and told me he understood if i never came back to this location.

I don’t have his name but the younger guy working the counter was really helpful. I realize it’s probably a really sh*ty location to work at but he didn’t seem to mind. You should try and enter a partnership with that storage place down the road because their moving truck usage is backwards and you would be able to earn some business from their customers who need moving trucks. You also need a larger lot.

Three young Kids working there did not know what they were doing, could have been more knowledgeable I had a guarantee on truck and trailer and they did not have the right combination ready for me had to drive 40 miles in the wrong direction to get my trailer, as well as the brook rd location a week earlier they called me and said my truck and trailer was there for me and it wasn't , I had to drive back to Maryland regroup get a rental car to drive back to Richmond only to have another terrible experience no body at both locations Brook rd and Willow lawn did not seem to care that my rentals were a success, I should get my money back for such a bad experience. it took 8 days and two trips to Richmond from Maryland to get it right I will never use U haul again from theses locations! Contract # 97702555 you should listen to all the recorded phone conversations 434 480 1421. The willow Lawn location the three boys working there played on there personal phones the whole time conducting business googling things not work related.

The trucks are basic run of the mill rental trucks. Nothing special... The reason we use this place 3-6 times per month is 100% the staff at this location. We drive further and put extra few miles on rentals just to use this location.

Have your sales person to check the equipment before they rent it . the tow dolly that I rented one of the ramps came out while driving down the road and the sales person said he was going to give me $10:00 off and didn't do what he said not happy at all

When I arrived Saturday morning, there were 8 people waiting in line and only 1 associate working. It seems there would be more employees working during the busiest hours and busiest days of the week for moving.

they only had one employee Saturday at noon and the line was out the door. I reserved a handcart and had to go several miles away to pick it up. it took an hour and a half from the time I arrived at uhual, before I actually could start the work I intended with the truck. Poor management. When I came to drop off at 4 there were 4 employees on site one helping a customer and 3 looking at a white minivan or suv on the racks next to the show room. after ten 10 minutes one of them came to help me. you need some serious customer service training for employees

The lot was crammed packed with trucks and trailers, and there was literally no place to park. I had to double park while obtaining the rental truck, then park my car in the space where the rental truck was. The office aisles were cluttered with stacks of boxes and other merchandise so that it was difficult to get to the front desk. The checkout went smoothly, but the return of the truck did not, taking nearly 25 minutes. Though being the only customer in the store, I had to wait at least 10 minutes for the clerk to get off the phone, then another 10-15 minutes while the clerk went out to the rental truck presumably to get the mileage in order to calculate the total charges. I don't know what he was doing in the truck so long, although it looked like he was talking on his phone. Finally he came back into the store, made no mention or apology for the lengthy "mileage check," printed out a receipt, and said curtly "have a nice day." In addition, he was dressed way too casually for business purposes -- shorts, flip-flops, and a sloppy, untucked shirt. Absolutely no customer service. U-Haul should screen its employees a bit better, or demand higher standards for customer service and employee appearance.
