The parking area is not the greatest for a truck and it is hard to manoeuvre for someone that doesn't drive large vehicles often. The person working there assured me the contract did not need to be updated with the correct fuel info as I won't be charged any access fees, but after receiving my receipt I noticed I was incorrectly charged for fuel level and mileage because the information was incorrectly listed at pick-up. I didn't have the fuel level and mileage info given to me with my paperwork when driving off in the vehicle. I saw it later in an email. Luckily I had taken a picture before moving the truck so I knew what the right information was. I ended up driving less than 30 miles and put in $25.00 of gas and was still charged about $25 for not having enough fuel when dropping off. I shouldn't have to send multiple emails to fix this issue, but that's exactly what I've had to do so far. I had the truck for about 4 hours and it's taking way longer than that to get the billing correct.

Fuel indication on the contract is different from actual reading. I was charged $10 for fuel after using a van for 22kms and putting 10liters of fuel.

The truck had the check engine light on and a crack across the windshield. I had to drive from Burlington to london with the truck like this. After my reservation for Hamilton was cancelled and I had to pick up the truck in Burlington.

To be honest, the last 3 times that I’ve rented a truck from U-Haul there has been billing issues and because of that I don’t think I’ll be using U-Haul again. My last rental was exceptionally screwed up and it states that I drove 486 miles in 24 hours and have been billed over $650! I drove 120kms from Burlington to Toronto to Oakville and back. The odometer was switched from miles to kms and it’s caused a serious issue. Please fix this.
