Tiffany TRenting from UHaul for 30 years and this was the worst experience ever. My reservation did not show up for them, but he did accommodate me by renting me a truck as long as I had it back before 10am for the next rental. I showed up at 8:45am. He said he would email me a receipt. No walk around the truck, confirming miles (it was less than my deposit) and he told me "you're early, I am eating my breakfast burrito". My boyfriend went back in and asked for a receipt and was told we have to wait until after 9am, because thats when he clocked in. This is all understandable, however, it is the way in which he said these things that did not represent even mediocre customer service in any way. He stated twice that they were not a uhaul only place and they were 3rd party. I have used a third party several times before and have not had an experience like this one. Please give this guy some training in customer service and de-escalation techniques.

Antonio MUpon arrival the associate was not in the office and the door was locked. I waited while looking from the front door for someone. A guy appears eating a sandwich with a drink. He says he's on break and asked if I can wait for him to finish. Then he further wasted my time lying to me about $100 added to my bill because of driving long distance (64miles). That $100 charge never happened. Then he tried to push me over to the side to go help another customer. After already taking up 20min. of my time. I was to have the U-Haul for 24 hours. He changed the drop off time on the paperwork to 11am. Instead of leaving it 12pm. My pick up time was scheduled 12pm. So my drop off time should have been the same. Then he prints out locations that are far to drop the U-Haul off. These long distance locations were Suisun, Vallejo, and Martinez. When I had a location down the street from me in Fairfield already chosen for me to drop off. U-Haul associate tells me he doesn't know if they will take it. They took it with no problem. I feel that he was racial profiling me and purposefully continued to give me a hard time during the pick up of the U-Haul. Also he was scamming trying to get more money paid for me using the U-Haul!!! This is inexcusable and unacceptable. He should be fired!!!
Talitha CWe rented a 10 foot truck. The 1st one they have is had a dead battery. They switch us to a new truck and didn't change the vehicle we had in the system. We have the truck for 2 hours and drove 7 miles. They charge us for 41 miles beck they had the wrong truck in the system.

SALVADOR CI had a bad experience as Uhaul switched my pick up location about three hours before pick up and that put my mileage way up and cost me more money . Uhaul location was not accommodating at all. They referred me to call customer service , but customer service never returned my call. Very unsatisfactory experience overall.

David HNo where did anyone say the gates closed at 6pm. We got there past 6pm and they were open. While we dropped off the uhaul the gates closed and would stay closed until the next day as the office was closed at 5pm. Once inside we saw the sign that said the gate closes at 6pm and other seasons at 7pm. Luckily someone was house sitting at the location and was nice enough to let us out. It should be clearly marked that this location can't do after hour drop offs. Very disappointed.

Did NOT accurately report how much gas was left in tank, as I left it EXACTLY as full as when I rented it!!! This location should NOT be affiliated with U-HAUL!!

Narender SThis location was not open as directed to go to by the app. The owner came and let us in when he realized there were customers waiting to return. He said his location was not open for after hours drop off but was accommodating for your error.
