was not aware thast I had to self check both in and out.....parking location of truck was behind building which took some care to even get it out.

There was no designated parking for the truck, so I had to wait for gas station customers to leave so I can park. The key box was also missing from the wall where it was supposed to be

As I was called four days later to confirm that the truck was returned. Not a very good experience. The gentleman that did the check-in/pick up was great.

And the clerk said we HAD to use it for the return process; no other way. We sat on hold in the rain and then used the chat function and it took about 15 minutes to come to a resolution to check in the van. Not a good experience.

On top of everything I was supposed to receive a partial refund on my purchase it has been over a week and I still haven't received anything! I have videos to prove all my statements, if anyone thinks im lying. Thanks
Sina AbbaszadehParking for the trucks was tight. On return, completed the online drop off. Went to the return key box, it was opened and not secure. Went inside the gas station and the employee had me go through the drop off process with him even though I said it was completed online. Not a huge deal but why have an online process?
Chad RancourtDidn't have a dolly or furniture pads that I had. It took me two hours and 4 different uhaul locations to find neither which I had reserved. Definitely using Penske next time.

Rich Caulley1. The person who assisted me didn't give me sufficient information about the rental policies. 2. The gas wasn't full when I got the car but it wrongly stated in the contract. 3. The car was dirty and half of the space took up by the personal stuff of that store. My experience of this renting is awful and I hope someone could check on the situation and make improvements based on my review. I hope to get a discount or some refund as compensation.

The location is in a gas station, the person working didn't know how to actually rent anything, I ended-up on the phone completing a booking, giving my personal information and credit card details, very uncomfortable. I returned the truck within 3 hours and was charged 2 days. I am still waiting for a refund for the overcharge. Very unprofessional, would not recommend, terrible experience aside from the truck itself.

The person whom I had business transaction in acquiring the truck is very helpful and deserving to be commended. The windshield of the unit was dirty, the rest are good.
Camilo EnriquezI tried to call this location (a neighborhood uhaul) the day prior to confirm my pick-up. The phone went straight to voicemail and the voicemail box was full. I then called the main uhaul location and they confirmed my pick up for me. The truck was there in good condition the following morning. However, I was not given any of the supplies (moving blankets, furniture mover) that I had requested. Again, I contacted the main uhaul office. They were very disappointed in the service I was given at this location so they gave me blankets for free. Additionally, I was not told that I would be texted a survey and I needed to take pictures of the truck before leaving. There were no instructions from the person I picked up the keys from. I have to thank Cindy at the main Uhaul location in Gainesville for helping me and solving all of the issues for me.
Jennifer GirardIt is a small gas station off a busy street. It was difficult to get the uhaul onto the property. Even though the Uhaul website let me reserve it as a drop off, the owner said they didn't have room. I had already checked in on my phone so the young lady was gracious and let me leave it there. I appreciated that.

He saved me the better part of an hour and another ten dollars in taxi fare. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Kun YangVery unprofessional, understaffed, when I received the vehicle the contract stated that the gas tank was almost half full when it was barely 1/8th of a tank full. I informed the lady and she said she would fix it. When I finally left to move my items, there were shelves in the back of the truck. So unprofessional and dirty. I finally got my receipt back and was charged 4 gallons of gas (clearly the lady did not fix this issue earlier) I contacted the location and they said they'll fix it next week, I asked why and the guy said because he doesn't work until next week Monday and he was leaving right now. What a horrible experience.
Nathalie garciaActually having a person work with you face to face would have been more convenient. The lady behind the register was nice but she didn't know anything about Uhaul rentals. I literally had to talk to a guy on the phone multiple times for over 30minutes even after registering online the night before. He told me he couldn't see my registration even when I gave him a confirmation number and tried to raise my rate. I was by myself only needed the truck for a few hours and the Uhaul provider refused to let me leave my car parked on their lot costing me more time I didn't have searching for a place to park. The whole ordeal made me late and I had to reschedule one of my jobs forcing me to have to stay in town an extra day costing me an extra $250! I won't be using this provider again.
Robert AyersUpon returning the Truck, attendant was somewhat rude telling me about the gas level. I drove 5 miles and he had me put 3 1/2 gallons back in the truck..... I guess the truck consumed 1,6 gallons per mile. NOT NICE!

The gentleman who checked me in was rude and they charged me about $6 for fuel when I drove only 6 miles. They are clearly creating some margin for benefit there.

Our apartment was only 2,7 miles away yet we were charged 17 miles. We did not drive that thing that far. Now I know to never use uhaul again and to warn people.

Equip was not at convenience store - At another location - Clerk had to do facetime to another site and owner to complete the contract in between selling Beer and lottery tickets- The address for pick-up was in an ally behind chain link fence and trailers were in the weeds - No one in sight at pick-up location - phone call back gave me trailer # to get - Said u-haul would required a $28 xtra charge for someone to verify equipment in working condition and connected to vehicle properly - Had never hooked up nor puller a car hauler before now - It was a complete self service event for full price charged -
FREDDIE DWOZANThe supplier was very rude and made every excuse he could think of to not have the truck available we reserved two days earlier. When we finally got the truck (1+hour late) , When we returned it the ONLY PERSON that could receive it was gone was not there but a phone call promised 5 minutes. 45 minutes later he showed up . Settling up he tried to say our $100 deposit was only $75 . Another customer had waited longer. I'm sure ?? this operation does not represent U-Haul ????
Ben CarpenterDo not edit customer's reservation without their consent. I had confirmed a reservation to pick up a truck at 11:00 am on July 27th. When I arrived to pick up my truck I was informed that my reservation had been pushed to 3:00 pm and there was not a truck available before then. I was never informed of my reservation update be neither email nor phone. Furthermore, when the gentleman from the pickup location called Uhual is discuss the situation, the uhual representative was rude and her explanation for why my reservation was edited was "because there were others who reserved times ahead of me and my time was pushed back in order to accommodate everyone". I was not accommodated by having my reservation pushed back by four hours without being notified. I have rented moving trucks more than 10 times over the past 5 years and this was by far the worst experience.

scott glennMy U-Haul renting experience was nothing but a nightmare full of miss information and lack of accountability. First the guy at the initial pick up messed up my reservation. I then realized it when I got home and called into 1-800-GO-U-Haul only to be shuffled around 6 different people. Once another reservation was set up a another Gainesville location the confirmation number told me Gainesville, while the same confirmation number on the agents side told them Ocala, FL. Once another reservation was set for another location (Giving my Credit Card information for the 3rd time) I had to take another Uber to the location where I had to wait because the contract could not print out for me to sign. The guy gave me the keys and sent me on my way without me signing anything. Once I got into the U-Haul the tank was half full (no problem), but the truck smelled horrible and was dirty inside. I was about to say no to the truck d/t the smell, but needed a truck badly. This was the most frustrating and horrible experience I've had with any company doing business with. If there was another low rating besides "Poor" I could give, I would definably choose that option. Horrible!!!

My initial reservation of a 10' truck was done through the U-Haul app. I had to input all my information 3 times before it successfully submitted. This was a result of it exiting the information screen and erasing all previous data, forcing me to start from the beginning of choosing a pickup time and location and drop off time and location. 2.To make it worse, my initial pickup at the store revealed there is little meaningful communication between the app and store location. The representative had to retype in everything resulting in a miscommunication which somehow allowed my 2 day rental to set my due date as the following day instead of 2 days. You can look at my initial contract. 3. My second resevation of a tow dolly, to take my car behind the U-Haul, was delayed because of a system problem that took over an hour. I had to speak with a U-Haul representative over the phone because it would not allow me to finalize the reservation. Again, the information needed to be re-typed ever single time the error occurred. That is a programming flaw. The resevation had to be cancelled and resubmitted under a new one. This is also a programming flaw. 4. During the hour plus of my time, I suggested a paper contract be written up. You no longer do this telling me the stories do not hold such contracts anymore. This is a company flaw. I suggested they fax us one but my suggestion was not even acknowledged. 5. My drop-off location was fine but they failed to check in my car dolly even though it was attached to the truck. Your fulfillment centers do not even pay attention to what they are checking in otherwise they would have noticed it was not a part of the first contract. This is a company flaw. I've used U-Haul for most of my moves. I can't remember the customer service being so poor. As such, I will never use your service again. I will tell people to not use your service. I do not want to be contacted. If you contact me I will block your number. If you continue to contact me I will seek legal action. I hope for the sake of your service that you take these concerns seriously because I refuse to believe, with all these issues, I am the only person it happens to.

Mark JacksonI booked a uHaul online, and when I got to the location, they did not have the equipment and the owner was not at the store. The store clerk did get the owner on the phone, but I did not trust giving out my personal information to someone I did not know. The owner arranged for the equipment; and two homeless men helped drag the trailer into place. I was just frustrated with the entire situation because I was on a time schedule, and I was delayed for over an hour.

Paul SneedGuy completely tried to rip me off. Entire exchange was shady. Dude with a laptop on top of a ice cream cooler in gas station completely exposing my credit card information. Contract never printed or sent until hours later. Trailer hook up didn't work had to comeback hours later.
KARIBI DEDEThis location was 10 miles away from where I originally scheduled my pick up and added an hour to moving day.
