I reserved both truck and transport from one location and had to go to a different one to pick up transport. I would have liked to know that in advance. Had to call road side assistance to fix tire belts. This is some Maintnance I feel should be kept up From company. Not wait till consumer realizes it and has to call road side assistance. However, I did Not check upon picking up the transport so partially my fault. Customer service was great!

This was the worst experience i have ever had with any company. I reserved my truck a week in advance and 2 days before my pickup day i got a call saying i would have to drive 2 extra hours to another state to pickup my truck. I also used the covid friendly option and ended up paying for the truck twice because the worker was very poorly trained and rude. Would not recommend. It took me an hour of being on the phone with the supervisor before i could pickup my truck that i already paid for once. It was low on gas and i had to pay even more money out to even move the truck from the parking lot.

This was not a good experience for me. Felt unsafe picking up and dropping off equipment. Location could not print me a receipt upon return.

The associate was very unprofessional and rude when I called to get directions and hours of operation. He told me they were closed. I asked what time they closed and he said “at 5pm”. I told him “well it is 4:45 pm and I not far away”. He said “I'm closed just drop it off.” The business had no Uhaul sign and was at a gas store. The associate was still there and very rude and had an ugly attitude in person also. Definitely not an asset to your business! I would never recommend anyone to use the Meridian store for Uhaul needs.

This location shares a gas station. The employee had to work the register and try to help us at the same time. Unless there are two employees, this location needs to end its efforts. The employee was nice enough, but he typed with one finger, stopped every 2 minutes to serve customers in his line, and didn't know that my Alaska driver's license was an "American" DL. It was frustrating and a waste of our valuable time. I would NOT recommend this location to U-haul clients.

It took 40 minutes for the check-in person at this location to do our paperwork and then he never accompanied us out to the trailer to show us ANYTHING about any safety features. We then had to go to ANOTHER location to pickup the pads we had reserved! Thank goodness for Shandrick Smith at the North Frontage Rd , Meridian, MS location; he took us out and showed us the proper way to hook the trailer up as well as gave us pointers on how to beat load it. When returning the trailer, the person at the original location refused to go out and look at the trailers condition or to document whether the pads had been returned. Quite a fly-by-night operation , the U-Haul location at Citgo on Hwy 19 North. And it seems it could leave U-Haul open to an array of liabilities with it's careless operation.

Trailer was full to dirt and rocks. We cleaned it out at home. Attendant was very rude, would wait on us, then would have us step aside while he waited on other customers. Additionally, they did not check to see if trailer was properly hooked up departing their location. Almost as they see U-Haul pick-ups a distraction from their main business. Attendant was going to charge us, after we prepaid on-line. Thank goodness had rental agreement printed off showing prepaid. Next time we will go through North Frontage Rd in Meridian, have always had excellent service with and they are very professional. We have pictures if you desire them.

It was very difficult to find the location and no one knew that this was a place to return the vehicle!

Car hauling trailer was parked in a corner behind the station with no access. We had to manually move it to attach it to a 26` truck, then back it out in a very narrow space between building and berm, almost impossible.. There was only one worker at the location and he knew nothing about the trailer and how to attach it.

Convenience store. Very hectic with store customers coming in. Did not show me anything about the truck. Had a note about temporary tape for leaking and that I was accepting. This was not told to me verbally and with it being hectic, I did not see the note written until after the trip. Truck has some rattles and sounded like it needed some maintenance work.

Person did not speak english and had a hard time communicating. Was not a great place overall. Clerk had no idea of what to even do concerning returning the truck and was a bit rude.

The dolly and blankets included in our request were not available. The printer in this facility did not work. Had to take a picture of the receipt and order with my cell phone. The only reason the truck was clean...because it was new.

When I initially called U Haul to rent a car transporter, the operator said that my truck was not compatible with the car I was hauling. I own a full size truck with a V8 engine, and I was hauling a jaguar convertible. She obviously did something wrong in the computer and refused to schedule me to take the car transporter. I continued to tell her that she was wrong and that she entered my information in the computer incorrectly. I called another Uhaul with the same information and they said it was ok. She could have potentially lost a customer and needs to input the correct data

The clerk was busy waiting on store customers. Took me about 45 minutes to complete an online reservation and I was given misinformation I was told if I turned the truck in early I would have a refund due lost sleep to get unloaded and not a dime

The trailer wasn't put all the way on the ball at the dealer. The guy said the ball was too big. It was a 2 inch ball that I've pulled the exact trailer with twice before. The hooks on the safety chains were smaller than the tow kit's bars so the guy didn't hook them up at all. Needless to say, two miles later the trailer jumped off the ball with no safety chains to catch it. My lady who was pulling it was smart enough to keep the car in front of the runaway trailer to get it stopped before anyone was hurt. I was furious but I don't blame the employee. The fact that he thought the ball was too big and didn't know that you have to reseat the ball until it seats all the way down tells me that he has never pulled a trailer before and shouldn't be in charge of uhaul safety. The business is a convienance store with a uhaul in the parking lot. The guy is a cashier, not a uhaul professional. This was the owners fault

This was a convenience store. I had to wait through 5 customers buying pizza, cigarettes, cigars, gas, etc before the clerk 'had time' to deal with my uhaul rental. He didn't know how to work the uhaul software, luckily the owner (?) came in and took over. After that, the transaction went much more smoothly, but I did have to wait 20 minutes before the clerk was able to deal with my needs.

I paid for an appliance dolly and they didn't have it. Also, there was a lot of confusion between each representative I encountered over the phone and in person. Wasn't a horrible experience, but it was not a very good one either.

I sent an email before explaining how I had to wait over 1 1/2 hours to get a filthy truck that I had to take to another Uhaul facility in Meridian to be cleaned. No response from anyone any Uhaul...not sure why i'm bothering to fill out this review. I'll never use Uhaul or recommend them again,

I am very unhappy due to I called and asked for a covered trailer tall enough to stand a refrigerator in standing up and was told by a lady with uhaul that yes there was one available at the uhaul place on 19 north in Meridian, Ms. well the uhaul was not rtall enough for the refrigerator to stand up in , so we had to leave the uhaul at our house and carried the refrigerator laying down on its side which we didn't want to do. That's the reason we rented uhaul trailer Left the trailer at our house could not even use it and because of being misinformed that the refrigerator would fit and it didn't we lost much needed money and time. .Also when I called the customer service center the person I talked to was rude she or he I couldn't tell was ok, what do you want me to do . Well hello. I will not be using uhaul anymore ,,,, bad , bad experience.

Gas tank was not filled up. The ramp was for a short truck, not for the 26 foot truck I ordered. The car trailer was not the correct type for a corvette, once loaded, couldn't open door to get out because of the wheel cover area.

With less than 24 hours notice I was informed truck was not available in my area and I had to travel over 80 miles to pick it up. Late notice, poor service, a very unsatisfactory experience.

It took 45 minutes for me to pick up my small trailer that I had reserved the day before. The attendant would stop and wait on customers in the C-store while I was trying to complete my contract. The concept of a c-store operator having to type info and complete a U-Haul contract while running a C-store is not beneficial to me or the operator. Because of this, I would not rent again from this location.

I reserved this truck a few days ago. I also reserved an appliance dolly to help in moving a heavy safe. Went to pick up truck and no appliance dolly. It's not the vendors fault, but u-haul, not caring enough about customer service.

I got over charged. The man didn't even look at the truck or nothing and pencil whipped the paper when I returned it back in the 6 hours allowed he claimed I drove 100.9 miles when I only drove 62 never again will I do business with u-haul I'll definitely be telling everyone to be aware on social media and job site

The manager was very nice but I would have gone to an actual store rather then a gas station. They did not have a dolly and had to go to another place.

This location has a very poor customer showroom. It is only a desk in the middle of a storage facility. There are no signs out front that would indicate this was a uhaul location. However the salesperson was very friendly and helpful and the equipment was old but in good condition and the trailer I rented worked very well and towed like a dream!

I got a call from this location to tell me my truck would be ready at noon on Saturday. When I called back to see if I could get it any earlier, I spoke with a man named Keith who heard my name, told me the truck was there, and abruptly hung up before I could ask any questions. I called right back, Keith answered again, I asked if I could pick the truck up before noon, to which he acted very annoyed and said "It's here right now, gotta go it's busy". click. Still didn't get to ask what time they opened in the morning. Got there Saturday morning at 10, a man came out to help us and then started scolding us for being there early. I told him I was told by someone named Keith that the truck was there and I could come before noon. Then I asked if he knew who Keith was. He shrugged and said not sure. I let him know that I had been hung up on twice by this Keith person and that I felt it was rude and horrible phone etiquette. Well wouldn't you know it - the phone rings as we're standing there, and this same man answers with "Cargo Van Go Uhaul, this is Keith". Yep. Same guy. Turns out the truck in the lot was for us after all and we did eventually get out of there. The furniture pads weren't ready, but he pulled some off a stack and helped us carry them to the truck. He also gave us 40 extra miles, which I appreciate.

We had to drive 11 miles to pick up the U haul truck. Consequently this put us over our 125 mile limit. We picked it up at 11:44 a.m. even thought scheduled for noon so had to have it back by then.

Have staff on hand that understand how the business operates and can properly deal with customers before during and after the contractual time. I returned the truck on time but got a call the next day wondering if I was going to return the truck. I parked the truck within 10 feet of the front door of the business but they must not have recognized their own truck, and had their regional people call me to tell me to return the truck.
