I went to rent a uhaul off St. Barnabas road. They did not have one but the young man was able to find and book one for me at Malboro Pike. When I went to Malboro Pike, the vehicle was ready. The staff was professional and ready to serve me. Thank you for such great attitudes and prepareness.

Clean trucks prior to pick up. Seat smelled like ass, literally left a scent on my hoodie. Wife and I had to remove boxes from back of 10' truck before we could load our belongings. Next time I will check back before leaving Uhaul sites, and check cabin for odd smells.

This service was absolutely awful. I was drastically overcharged for using the Uhaul and I can prove it with photos I took of the odometer and basic common sense. I rented this uhaul for 2 hours and returned it without the gas tank needle even moving. I drove 10 (count them again, TEN) miles and they charged me for over 100 miles. IN TWO HOURS? Are you kidding me? I am going to demand my money back or take this to court because this is fraud. I have proof of the odometer before and after using the vehicle, and this is nothing short of a scam/theft. I will NEVER use this service again and I will actively campaign against anyone else from using it either.

I personally had a very positive experience at this uhaul location. The customer service was great and unlike some other locations, I was able to leave my car there while I was using the uhaul. Some other locations are on a smaller lot ,and you are not permitted to leave your car. This place was the peace I needed, because moving can be very stressful

i was charged an extra day because the establishment was closed on Sunday. I'm working to rectify that now.

I forgot the keys to my car and had to drive back to get them. It was near closing time. The owner stayed past closing time so I could turn in the truck and get my car. I really appreciated that

I set up my reservation online I was given 300 miles for my move. I used 237 miles and was charged for an extra 15 miles. Not to mention I received the truck on almost empty and returned it with a half tank of gas. At this location the guy never went over the order with me. I never got a confirmation email. I paid for use of the dolly there was no dolly in the truck. Overall I am disgusted I looked at my bank account and saw I was charged for 15 extra miles. How?????? I was given 300 miles in my reservation and I only used 237.

The truck would not pick up speed to to mechanical issues. The truck jerks when you break. The vehicle seems to have a transmission issue. When I called the usual center and told them the truck was going no more then 10-15 miles per hours on the high way and dangerous, they told me if it breaks just call rode side assistance. I will never rent from them again!!

the car stopped working mid drive. i had to uber and go home and come back. I enjoy Uhaul services however i would not recommend the trucks from the location at all. please consider a refund.

I issue for Uhaul to improve is to inform the customer that a pickup location has changed.That issue cost me time and money and mileage.No one told me I had to go far out of my way to get the truck I requested.That was very unfair,I will definitely use another company my next move.

As a customer I expect to receive what I ordered because this was available at the time. I received a bigger truck. That is not what I reserved, I asked will that be more. She stated that it wouldn't. I have been over charged and charged Twice. I just received receipt in jan 2022 and I rented this vehicle 11/01/2021. This is outrageous!!!

This entire experience has been horrible. From the unprofessional service I received picking up the rental to the service I received dropping the truck off. Driving 12 hours with no AC and only received 20 % off the rental is not amazing customer service. I will never use uhaul again and make sure the public knows why.

Uhaul had issues with their system so I couldn't get rental on time. This was a huge inconvenience.

I needed a bigger uhaul I called and was told I could come an pick one up. When I got there no one knew what I was talking about it. It made my day even longer and I used the smaller truck which made my day even longer. The next day I had rush and was pressured to have the the truck back. I was chargerd for the extra time money i didn't have. In then end everything was done but I felt shorted.

If you can go to an official uhaul location, please do. Third party authorized dealers are just not work the hassle. 2 of the moving equipments where not available, the truck was not clean.

Fix and service the uhaul vehicle and make sure the customer service center has the correct hours and days of operation for this location. The mirror was broke, the check engine light was on, and the truck was dirty on the inside.

This was a total disaster. They overcharged us by not changing the drop off location, even though we requested multiple times with multiple people before pick-up. At pick-up we were reassured the drop-off was adjusted and the price corrected and then got multiple emails several hours later changing things in the contract and online. What is this some kind of scam? The truck wasn't at the location even with a "Guaranteed reservation" . We had to go so far away for it, and it wasn't ready on the day. We waited for hours and lost our driver so the total move has been irreparably affected. Uhaul customer service is still trying to figure it out.

I have not been disrespected and humiliated like i was at this location . The gentleman( Afriacan American ) and lady at the desk who checked me in was extremely efficient and their customer service was amazing . Upon returning the truck i was greated by a gentleman who requested that i go back to the truck and take a picture of the dashboard to show the mileage and gas gage . While in the truck he walks to the truck and immediately tells me theres a dent on the truck that I am responsible for . This gentleman who wasn't the person who checked me out immediately starts to accused me of having an accident with the truck and not reporting. I firmly tells him the truck was given to me like that and theres no way i had an accident with the truck . He damands the key from me and walks away . I go into the office checks out and walk away . Few minutes later while driving home i realized i left my phone in the vehicle and return to check the car . Again the lady and the gentleman inside are extremely helpful and figure out he didn't give her the key instead and i had to wait for him for 10minutes to return the key . Few minutes later he returns with the key and this time around he brings back the issue about the dent and this time around request that i call my insurance and i quickly and firmly tells him that i will not be calling my insurance and he needs to stop harassing and calling me a liar . I do walk away and finds my phone in the truck. Few minutes later i get a text from the lady in the office apologizing and confirming that the truck did have the dent before i picked it up . I seldomly write reviews but i had to do this because i strongly belives that i was racially profilled as a black man with dreadlocks and that gentleman was extremely rude and disrespectful . I am not sure how this is going to move forward but I'll suggest that Uhaul address this situation and create some sort of education on customer service for the particular gentleman . As a black man living in America the times are hard and as a supported of all buisnesses I am definately not going to recommend this location to any one.

This location had only two pieces of Uhaul equipment and knew nothing about the car dolly. It did not have a connector extension to hook up the lights. There was something very wrong with the dolly. It made incredibly loud racket the whole time it was moving. Got home and notice a tire looked low so I unscrewed the valve cap an the whole stem broke in my hand. The tire went all the way flat after that.

They charged me $26 for gas because I didn't return the truck at 3/8 tank. I have never heard of 3/8 tank of gas. I am familiar with 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full. I return the truck at 1/4 tank. I only drove the truck to Upper Marlboro and back to the U-Haul place.

Online showed an earlier pickup time than the location itself (9:30 vs 10) Having checked in online, it was a bit confusing how to verify the truck's condition, since the link sent didnt work. I told Alex and he said my pics would suffice. Same with return. Both Alex and Maggie were friendly and Maggie was very knowledgeable and assuring as well.

Valentine Motors company was fine. However, the uhaul in Marlow Heights area was awful. I'll probably never rent from uhaul again. My pick appointment time was 9:00 am. At 8:55 I got a notification that my location and time had changed as I was in line. It was moving day for me and it threw everything off schedule due to I am assuming over booking. 3 years again I used uhaul and also had a horrible experience and tried to give it another chance. Never again.

I had issue returning my truck and I couldn't get through to the 1800 number. This was on Sat. The woman who returned the truck never looked at the note that was in the system. This is rediculous.
