The self service return process was horrible. It took me over an hour because I kept getting the error message that it wad out of memory when I tried to upload pictures or it would just randomly restart the process. I will never use the self-service again. If the store isn't open when I need to rent, I will go to Home Depot to rent. The truck was find and the location was fine, but the self service website needs improvement.Eileen M.

Nothing needs improvingâ€”this is my preferred location to rent from U-Haul. Every vehicle I rent here is in great condition, clean and full of gas and the man at the counter is just terrific!Kevin H.
We were warmly greeted, the process was clear and concise. The vehicle was turnaround so we could simply pull out of the lot. The vehicle was clean, full tank of gas and in excellent condition. We will not hesitate to use this location again!Gail W.

We had a terrible time checking in and checking out. Other customers there experienced the same thing. Extremely frustrating experience. Number you were given to call if you need help goes to a mans voicemail who says he will answer it if he hears it ringing. Finally got a U haul worker on the phone who helped us through the process after an hour and a half. Truck was fine though. Would not recommend this site.Joseph K.
The check in app did not work as expected and it took a while to talk to someone from the help desk. This resulted in me being late for my move. I was on hold for nearly 1/2 hour. It was not a pleasant experience. Next time I would go to a manned location. Once I did get someone from Uhaul on the phone, she was very helpful.Seth L.
This was the easiest rental: to make, to pick up, and especially to return using the appâ€"so convenient! The equipment was in great shape and the rental manager is really helpful and very nice.Jeanne W.
The website was down, and this facility does not have in person help. We had to wait an hour for someone to come from the next closest location to manually let us in the truck due to the mobile check in not working. Very disappointed in the service, will not be booking again.Shannan` M.
I had a horrible experience with UHaul. I reserved a 15 foot box truck 3 weeks in advance. When I went to pickup the truck, I was told that it was not returned by the previous user. I was then told that another 15 foot box truck was available at a location 50 minutes away, so I accepted that. I received a confirmation text for my reservation, but upon arrival, I was told that there were no trucks available for me to take. I was then again redirected to another location 1 hour and 20 minutes away, where I could only get a 10 foot truck. I reserved that truck, even though it was smaller than my original reservation. Not only did I not get the truck I ordered, but my original reservation was from 10 am to 6 pm, and by the time I was able to finally get the truck (at a location very far from my destination) it was nearly 1 pm, and the end time of the reservation was not adjusted for the nearly 3 hour delay. I got the wrong size truck, at the wrong location, for the wrong amount of time. The final location that I was able to pickup the truck from was 15 miles from my destination, whereas the original location that I reserved the truck at was only 3 miles away. I want a full refund for my rental, I did not get what I reserved at all, and the mismanagement of my situation by UHaul caused me to lose more than 3 hours of my day (and my rental) and extra money out of my pocket for the additional miles that I had to drive the truck. It was the worst experience I could have possibly had and unless I am refunded fully, I will never again rent from uhaul and I will make an effort to recommend to friends, family, and colleagues, that they never use uhaul.Jacob N.

It was extremely inconvenient that my pickup location was changed 48 hours before my move to a town 35 minutes away while my dropoff location stayed right around the corner from me, especially when I scheduled this two months ago. I left my car at the new pickup location, and in addition to the extra mileage and gas I had to pay for, I also had to take a 45 $uber to retrieve my car. When I contacted UHaul they would not let me change the dropoff location to my pickup location without very expensive charges. Will not be using UHaul againKevin K.

The location is rather out of the way in a corner of Phoenixville, with not much parking, but it got the job done. There's nothing that can be done about the location though.Jason B.
Uhaul is not a customer friendly company, their policies are misleading. The uhaul I rented got stuck in the snow then plowed in. I called uhaul to utilize the road side assistance that I paid for unfortunately, it took them 2 days to tell me that road side assistance doesn't cover me being stuck in the snow. Based on the description of roadside assistance and I was definitely stranded on the side of the road why was I not covered but on top of that I was charged 2 extra days. Rip offAnthony H.

Valley Forge staff was great and able to straighten out my reservation and get me on the road with my truck. He was super accommodating and provided great customer service. The woman from UHaul that called me before my rental was horrible. She called to tell me that the truck I had reserved online at least a week earlier was not available and provided me with an option which was ridiculous - much to far away. With much prodding, she found me the truck at Valley Forge and amended the reservation. However when I got to Valley Forge I discovered she didn't make any of the necessary changes in the system. The staff at Valley Forge fixed everything and turned a frustrating situation into a positive one. The UHaul woman who called me was rude and gave terrible customer service. She does not represent you well.Christine J.

when i was checking in, an alternate contact was required. that was a real pain. not sure why i needed that. the windshield was dirty so i got a lot of glare at night. also return of vehicle was a pain with all the pictures i needed to take.David S.

I reserved a 26' truck over a month in advance, and I was notified the day before that they only had a 20' truck. The woman on the phone was very unsympathetic and unhelpful and tried to play it off like it was no big deal and I'd just have to make multiple trips. The pick up/drop off took quite a while because I was supposed to check in/out on my phone. I think U-Haul should have an app to make things easier. Long story short: Moving is hard enough as it is; U-Haul's customer service, website, and reservation issues made it even harder.Devon S.

The man I spoke to to confirm my pick up date and time was beyond rude. I was appalled at the way he spoke to me. I spend 465 on a 2 week rental trailer and his behavior was of a grumpy old man and extremely unacceptable. I would NEVER get anything from this location. Uhaul needs to be aware!!!!!Vita D.

The check in to pick up the vehicle was very slow. I got on site 5 minutes before my pickup time. I left with my vehicle 35 minutes later. It took that long to get approval done. That seemed a bit long to me. Everything else was fine. Vehicle was great and drop off was very convenient.James V.

General improvement suggestion for equipment (I rented 9' Box Truck): Include cruise control and tilt wheel features on the GMC Savanas. Tilt wheel would have been especially helpful, as I am 5'1" tall.Stephen N.

This is the first time, I had a lot of trouble with reservation. My reservation changed locations multiple times and I had to cancel and rebook as the location was further away. Because of this, the new reservation ended up being more expensive. I was not happy with the service at all, and would think twice when going with U-Haul.Ataullah S.
