It was extremely inconvenient that my pickup location was changed 48 hours before my move to a town 35 minutes away while my dropoff location stayed right around the corner from me, especially when I scheduled this two months ago. I left my car at the new pickup location, and in addition to the extra mileage and gas I had to pay for, I also had to take a 45 $uber to retrieve my car. When I contacted UHaul they would not let me change the dropoff location to my pickup location without very expensive charges. Will not be using UHaul againKevin K.

Uhaul is not a customer friendly company, their policies are misleading. The uhaul I rented got stuck in the snow then plowed in. I called uhaul to utilize the road side assistance that I paid for unfortunately, it took them 2 days to tell me that road side assistance doesn't cover me being stuck in the snow. Based on the description of roadside assistance and I was definitely stranded on the side of the road why was I not covered but on top of that I was charged 2 extra days. Rip offAnthony H.

Valley Forge staff was great and able to straighten out my reservation and get me on the road with my truck. He was super accommodating and provided great customer service. The woman from UHaul that called me before my rental was horrible. She called to tell me that the truck I had reserved online at least a week earlier was not available and provided me with an option which was ridiculous - much to far away. With much prodding, she found me the truck at Valley Forge and amended the reservation. However when I got to Valley Forge I discovered she didn't make any of the necessary changes in the system. The staff at Valley Forge fixed everything and turned a frustrating situation into a positive one. The UHaul woman who called me was rude and gave terrible customer service. I reserved a 26' truck over a month in advance, and I was notified the day before that they only had a 20' truck. The woman on the phone was very unsympathetic and unhelpful and tried to play it off like it was no big deal and I'd just have to make multiple trips. The pick up/drop off took quite a while because I was supposed to check in/out on my phone. I think U-Haul should have an app to make things easier. Long story short: Moving is hard enough as it is; U-Haul's customer service, website, and reservation issues made it even harder.Devon S.

The man I spoke to to confirm my pick up date and time was beyond rude. I was appalled at the way he spoke to me. I spend 465 on a 2 week rental trailer and his behavior was of a grumpy old man and extremely unacceptable. I would NEVER get anything from this location. Uhaul needs to be aware!!!!!Vita D.

The check in to pick up the vehicle was very slow. I got on site 5 minutes before my pickup time. I left with my vehicle 35 minutes later. It took that long to get approval done. That seemed a bit long to me. Everything else was fine. Vehicle was great and drop off was very convenient.James V.

This is the first time, I had a lot of trouble with reservation. My reservation changed locations multiple times and I had to cancel and rebook as the location was further away. Because of this, the new reservation ended up being more expensive. I was not happy with the service at all, and would think twice when going with U-Haul.Ataullah S.

I would not recommend this location on a weekend when there's nobody at the site. The trucks windshield wipers were shredding and I almost had an accident on the turnpike because I was washing the windshield. The gas gauge does not work so when I filled up the truck to what I thought was gonna be 3/4 the gas never stopped and the gauge didn't move until the pump stopped. When the pump stopped it's still red half a tank and it wasn't until I drove a mile or two that the gauge caught up.Brian S.

When I inquired with the local representative in King of Prussia, they explained to me that the rate given would be for 48 hours. Instead, its actually for 24 hours and then there is a 40 $additional charge. I understand it was stated in my contract that is was for 24 hours but 1) I was given incorrect information originally 2) When I picked up the vehicle the contract was not reviewed to show the change.Kyle G.

We signed into the app and started the process, took the driver's picture, then we had to wait about 40 minutes for approval. We tried to chat with someone and no one responded in all that time. Getting the key out of where it is kept was annoyingly difficult. There were no instructions on the key holder to tell you how to access the combination wheels! It was POURING rain and we were soaked trying to get the key out. We had to call, then figured it out. Wasted an hour of our morning just trying to get the truck! Needless to say, we were not happy, so can't give this experience a good rating.Robert K.

When we drove up, we first saw only 3 trucks. When we started the process, our truck ID number was not the one on the truck we were looking at. We didn't know you had another side to the building that had other trucks. That was very disconcerting right off the bat. Maybe tell people to go the 2nd driveway. When you see U-Haul trucks, your first instinct is to pull right in there. We eventually figured it out, though.Robert K.

We did the truck share 24/7 where you go to a location and do everything by phone. Very convenient, except on a Saturday morning at 9am, They are so busy we waited 45 minutes for them to approve us. Ended up calling to expedite the process which did work. Returning the truck was quick and seamless. I would do it again, but arrive well before your pick up time. We didn't leave until an hour after our time, but they did not add an hour to the time we asked to have the truck.Michael B.

There is no signage for at the location to tell you that Uhaul is there. There is actually a sign on the building next door but that's not where you go. Overall the equipment was clean except for the cup holder area on the dashboard.Douglas O.
The pickup I rented was clean and well maintained. The only reason I didn't give the location a higher rating, is because I had difficulty finding it. There is no signage at the front of the property. It is primarily a self storage facility.Raymond O.
The online check in process was very slow and Although I entered much of the information the night before I still had to re-enter the same information again the next morning. The waiting for approval time was lengthy, and required entering more than one time. The checkout process I was just as bad. Overall a very frustrating and dissatisfying experience. The only positive was the customer service representative from U-Haul who was patient and helpful. The location was fine and the truck was easy to access. U-Haul may want to consider a process that allows customers to access/interact with actual people versus so much reliance on online services.Suzanne W.
