There was no one at the facility to sid with getting in the truck when the app didn't work. Also, after 1/2 hour we finally were able to get into the truck to find that the gas tank was empty. Poor management.
William GThe Uhaul app did not work for contactless pickup. I spent 40 minutes waiting on the phone for someone to help me. I had to do it through a web browser at the end and after that everything was good. Van was brend New and I liked that a lot. 2 stars because of bad customer service.
Jovan KI arrived to a can thatt had ice/snow all over the windshield and roof. I didn't have means to clear the roof and wiped the windshield with my hands. We hadn't had snow for several days. It wasn't ideal. The day I drove the van, my stops were met with icey discharge from the roof. It was a hazard for the drivers around me.
Mary GThe self pickup process using the app was agonizingly slow. There was no wifi to connect to, so uploading so many photos took ages and delayed my schedule. I'd recommend that verifying the user identity and getting "approved" should occur a couple days in advance

After talking with U-Haul support I learned to re-boot my phone prior to starting the pickup process, and if that doesn't work, skip the app and use the web browser on my phone.

Larry PYou need to improve your pickup by phone program. It cannot read my PA license and in the end I could not complete the rental with my phone and nearly timed out of my reservation. I needed help from the wonderful, outstanding manager, Dave but if this were a weekend I would not have been able to rent the van.

Michael WThe cumbersome process to get the truck and return it was a pain in the ass. I will never do that process again. Fifteen photos of my driver's license is too much. In the future, if i rent from U-Haul ( I would consider a difference vendor because if this) I will make certain I deal with a human being. The entire process was a pain in the ass.

Iain DI feel the 19,95 rental fee is a little deceiving. We rented the van to go pick up a bookshelf at IKEA and we ended up paying almost $100 due to price for miles even though we returned it to the same location. Too expensive.
Matthew PDave took great care of me. He explained the process thoroughly and was a pleasure to work with. There is nothing required for improvement. I would definitely use this location again.

I was lucky to have someone there with me to put as a reference but if someone is already on-site, there is no way that they have their passport or a copy of a lease available. This should all be done prior to arrival on-site.

Lee DWe did not receive the text regarding drop off until after the uhaul was dropped off. THe gentleman who I called at Uhaul was very helpful and took care of the drop off information effectively. Everyone I dealt with on the phone was great -- the logistics of pick up and drop off were difficult!

Divya GThe original truck I reserved was supposed to have a furniture dolly and hand truck in it but the key to that truck wasn't available in the lock box. I called the customer support number to inform them of the issue and they quickly switched my reservation to a different truck. I ended up paying for the rental equipment that I never received.

Kim KThe place was great. We had to drive 20 Miles /45 minutes to pick up the truck, then had to drive 20 miles/45 minutes back to Philly to then load the truck. Gas isn't cheap and neither is renting a UHaul. We should have gotten a credit towards our rental because we had to drive 40 miles out of our way to pick up the truck!!! Seeing that we had to pay for gas in both vehicles to do so!!!

Thomas WIt was not very clean when we picked up. It was smelling like some animal is transported. But overall it was good . Staff was courteous and good.
Pankaj WVan was clean but unfortunately had a cigarette smoke odor. Clearly, a previous renter did not follow the rules! I used an ionizer to try to deodorize, which helped for the 3-hour drive- but on the return trip, the odor had returned. Awful!

Jeffrey DDave the manager is very helpful and friendly here too . No problems returning the truck rental except that corporate did not delete my prepaid charge for a furniture dolly that I was not able to obtain. Thanks Dave for the extra efforts to make sure my UHaul experience was a good one.

Elaine TCan't think of anything in particular. I've used U-Haul a LOT, and I've rented from many different locations in PA, NJ, TN, and NC. This was definitely one of the better locations I've been to. Convenient location, easy mobile pickup/drop-off, and the rented vehicle was of the quality I expect from U-Haul. I also wasn't nickel-and-dimed for gas the way other places have, which was a nice change. The furniture pads I ordered were not included in my van, but I ended up not really needing them anyway, and they were refunded without even needing to inquire. TLDR: This place rocks! I live out of the area, but if I find myself needing a rental again, I will definitely try for this location :)

Sandra HThe online portion of rental did not indicate the requirement of a uhaul account. We also did not get the blankets and dolly we requested. We requested an 8am pick up, prior to the opening of business. Truck had some obvious cosmetic damage which should have been fixed. Overall very poor.
