Bill WIn general, I would not recommend uhaul to anyone. They have me a locked in quote when I reserved my rental, then charged me about 400 dollars more, which we have been told by customer service that the extra fees should not have been charged, yet they haven't been refunded. Then upon drop off, uhaul charged us another 206 for extra rental fees that shouldn't be. We were told we had 2 extra free days, due to the storm and an accident on the way and that we were able to drop off in a different location, with no extra fees, being that it was half the miles we paid for and more fuel in the truck than when received. Not using them again. I'll go with perspective in the future. At first glance, they seem more expensive, but adding all of the extra fees that should not have been added, it equals out to be what penile quoted me. I have friends that have had the same issues with uhaul.

Skylar aThe employees were not the problem. It was uhaul themselves. I needed to rent a truck I picked a location to pick up and drop off come to find out that was a request for the location and I could travel up to 50 miles to get the truck that's crap. With everything customers have to go ready driving up to 50 mile is beyond exhausting. There has to be a better way for you to schedule your trucks.
John aLouise was friendly and helpful. Valley Kwik Mart is very conveniently located for me. The dolly trailer was sturdy and easy to use. And the rental price was reasonable.

Jennifer RWell I know one thing you could do, just don’t charge people for 2 PM for only 2 gallons of gas when you don’t have a meter in the vehicle to put exactly what it was because who knows what 7/8 of a gallon was in there or whatever I put the needle world look like it was that when I got it how am I to know it was 2 gallon short so yeah I consider that ripping me off but yeah put a meter in a truck or something that can tell people exact
Robert CHad a reservation with a different location and had an appointment to pick up a vehicle needless to say I missed it I called the original location and was told that they the two units were broken I think they just didn't care about it and didn't want to come and take care of me and I was treated rudely and he just told me take it up with Uhaul and hung up on me the rep I talked to was very nice and the new location was great very professional but I was very disappointed with the shady location and grimy used car dealer feel that I was originally told to go to . Richard KThe original location and situation was horrible. I give my overall experience very low marks. I will not be recommending U haul to anyone. My reservation was not ready. No one called to inform me. I did not get what I reserved. This experience was emotionally taxing and stressful. Then, all my Christmas gifts were soaked in rain because the trailer did not keep the weather out. I am lucky nothing was permanently damaged. Not doing this again. I will look for another company next time.

mark cI was initially upset as I had called the Bloomsburg location to confirm my pickup and they said they had a 15' truck available to rent. I then went to that location and they said they didn't have any for my reservation so had to drive over to Catawissa to pick it up. The lady was nice and was able to do uhual stuff fine but took awhile since she had to do it on her phone.

Jo SWe reserved a small trailer from the Bloomsburg location, but when we arrived they did not have the one we reserved and wanted to give us a much larger trailer at the same price, but we didn't want to pull such a large trailer so we had to go to another location to get our trailer. What is the point of reserving a trailer if the dealer doesn't have it when you arrive??????
Debra FAll went well except the self checkout with the app. People at the location could not help me. took over an hour to check out, got to step 5 of 8 and the app crashed. Had to contact the field manger to finally checkout. Do not recommend this method, its slow with too many bugs

Kevin SThe truck was obviously brand new (2 000 miles on it) but when I was cleaning it to turn it in, I found fingernails/toenails - not mine. There were a lot of bugs in it (bees) as if the truck had been sitting awhile. I was a little disappointed that, for whatever reason, the UHaul closest to me couldn't give me a truck (I've had issues with the Bloomsburg UHaul before) but this lady was nice, maybe not the most professional, but at least she got me a truck. She was honest about her schedule but willing to meet me when I needed to pick it up. Her office didn't really have anywhere for a customer to sit (little awkward).

Amy BGood location for me. Easy to get to and easy to get the truck into. Personnel was not very well trained. I dropped the truck on a Sunday and they did not know how to handle the paperwork. I had no additional mileage or any issues so it was not a problem overall.
BRUCE BAt this place, nothing..but overall I mean the pickup site was switched to here and they did give me the additional mileage, but I mean if Uhaul is going to do this they should add like 15 miles extra just based on the extra hassle...I mean they gave me the difference but didn't take into any of the frustration it caused me, But would use again, I love the pick up location, friendly great people.

PETE KValley Kwik Mart in Catawissa was great. Helped me out when original pickup location in Danville left me in a bind at last minute.
JOHN CThe trucks front end was out of alignment and we struggled all the way to our destination with it. Very tiring to say the least. The Quick Mart was very courteous and cleaned the snow off the truck before we headed out.
