The U-Haul representative was very friendly and got everything taken care of a short amount of time. Will definitely rent another U-Haul through that location again.

Overall very good. Could use some more sales items like the hand hold mattresses and the queen mattress bags were sold out.
Anthony KMy only issue was that there was a very strong cigarette smoke smell in the cabin. I know most people don't mind but I just wanted to make a note in case someone had a sensitivity to it.

Mark GYou had a nationwide computer failure that made it impossible to check out the truck at the requested time. No backup method to transact was available. This delayed my trip by a day. The truck also leaked and made boxes wet.

James HNo issues at this location. Personnel quickly responded to my arrival (even though I think I interrupted their lunch, sorry!) and pointed out where I should put the trailer. Once positioned, they unhooked it from my car and finished "parking" it by hand. They said that I would receive an email shortly to finalize my return, and within a few minutes of leaving the premises the email arrived. No fuss, no muss, another great experience.
ERIK HHave rented trucks from Shea Enterprises a few times now and always have the same experience--the truck is always clean and ready to go but, more importantly, the folks at Shea are always friendly and helpful and always do everything they can to accommodate you. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Purcellville area...

Adam SU-Haul APP doesn't work. Demanded a photo of parking location at the end and then would not accept the photo. Used 200 MB of data to check in the vehicle. Don't know what the app was doing, but it doesn't work reliably. Glad I could rely on the people at the pick-up location and did not have to depend on the u-haul app.

Chris DI made this reservation online with the intention to pick up the truck at the specified time. No one contacted me before the pick up date and when I arrived there was no way to complete the process. I called UHaul and they assured me that there was an after hours key lock box but there wasn't. Therefore I had to wait for 3 hours until the lot attendant arrived which interfered with my daily plans. The lot attendant was friendly and helpful but UHaul should not offer after hours pick up if they have no intention on following through.

DAVID VUHaul should have some protocol in place for renters to receive credit or a discount for returning the truck with extra gas. I did not receive anything. I picked it up with barely a quarter of a tank and returned it with three-fourths of a tank. It cost me $80 to fill it up and because I was driving far, I did not want to run out of gas - and did not know how much it would take. That means I gave U-Haul free gas - and that's not good business.

The truck I was given though was making possible transmission of rear differential noise as soon as I started off away from the pick up location. Turned around and notified the person I was dealing with and they put me in another truck. As I stated the person I felt with was helpful. The first truck was the issue.

Ann PPersonnel were very helpful on both ends. The truck I rented was fine. My only complaint was the reservation process, especially the web-page process. I tried tp reserve a truck 2 days early. I got a reservation number but the truck was not promised. Twelve hours before need UHaul called and offered me a truck 30 miles out of the way. Later that day I found a truck much closer. It took two hours to change my reservation to the closer truck. That was very frustrating.
Arnold HPre-check in on my cell was easy. Location was easy to find and van was waiting and ready to go right at promised time. Back of the van could have used a good sweep out as there was a lot of dog/cat fur back there that got all over us during out move. Would recommend this location to others.
