LILJANA BValue plus is a terrible business and I will not ever use them again. If the U-Haul in loves Park IL has no availability for a rental then I will have to go without because they have always been so wonderful and we have always used them but this one time they didn't have a truck we needed so they sent us to Value plus because they had the truck we needed and we I would call to extend my rental the person that was working there did not extend it even though he said he would and then I get a call saying the truck was reported stolen which is a bunch of bs. When we picked up the truck it was a mess and the gas was not even full. The mileage on the truck is digital and kept blinking and numbers would disappear so who knows if the mileage was even accurate. This is the worse U-Haul contractor experience I have ever had. They should be embarrassed, terrible customer service all around and the person they hired to work there is a complete idiot , when I returned the truck he just say there and stained and my son and I with. A stupid look in his face not to mention he looked like he was on drugs , he was no help he took the keys and just stood there like he had no idea what to do. I still have to call and file a complaint which I plan on doing tomorrow because today is a Sunday . Stay away from Value Plus in Rockford IL, you will thank me for saving you a bunch of head aches
CONNIE MThe original size truck I reserved was not available when I went to pick it up. Its 90° and the A)C isn't working in the truck. Disappointed but had to make it work
MONICA VThe AC did not work, blows very hot air. The truck did not have a full tank when I left, I traveled 16 miles and put two gallons of gas in the truck before returning. They then charged me $30 for six more gallons of gas. A total of 8 gallons of gas to go 16 miles. This location should be shut down for ripping people off. If not taken care of, I will contact my bank for fraud charges.
Christopher HPoor management at this location. The location opened late on Saturday m9rning, making us late for an agreed upon time. The gentleman was sweaty and rude when he finally arrived. We will rent from another location where we can depend on them to open on time.
Sarah FI had the truck for 1hour and all I moved was a bed and they tried to charge me a cleaning fee for some glass that was already in the back of the truck. I believe it was calculated and it's something they do to customers on a regular basis
christian LSigns for business need to be more visible. I had a difficult time finding the location as I was looking for a "U-haul" sign and the building sits back off the road.

Blanca JI rented a U-Haul it had no gas I was told if I brought it back on a quarter tank I would get refunded $45 back never received it then my card got charged another $8 and some change I called them twice and they hung up the phone on me ! Also when I went there to pick up my 20ft uhaul 3 days before pick up it wasnt avaible and I had to wait 20 minutes for the worker to come inside to help me
shelby hEl vehículo tenía olor a animales y era insoportable el tener que estar en la cabina conduciendo con ese olor. Las pertenencias que pusimos en el compartimiento de atrás quedaron con olor a animal de granja el camión tenía pasto y restos de lo que parecía abono. Ahora tenemos que lavar muchas cosas y otras simplemente tirarlas a la basura por este olor. Cuando trate de explicárselo a la persona de servicio al cliente. Estaba peleando con otros clientes y no pudo atenderme. Muy mal servicio
Yamany HI only answered no to "was the equipment clean and well maintained" because as we were hooking up the trailer, the man working there noticed that the electrical harness was nicked and frayed. He told me to drive up to the top of the lot and he would replace it. Harness replaced and we were on our way. Great customer service and only delayed our departure by a few minutes.

Susan HI had a reservation to pickup a trailer and lucky that I got there when I did, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get it because the person working at the location was going to close up about 45 minutes early and leave for the day. The guy was nice and all but if you're supposed to be open until 12, stay open until 12.
