ryan somervilleThey couldnt find dolly and peds. 3 uhaul location I travelled to take peds and dolly. They couldnt give the suitable dolly that was ordered by me. Also they charging everything. I dont advice anyone. I was late and ı couldnt take my equipments. Really disaapointing. No coordination. All the uhal location are working independent. So very big problem. Don't work with Uhall
Cemalettin GidenAll staffs are not accommodating. We came to pick up the truck on time at 9am but they gave us the key at almost 10am. We asked if we can extend the time for return but they gave us the number of U Haul to talk to them. So, we gave them a call and explained our complain. But the girl we talked to said we can't do anything about it but return it no later than 2:15pm and she just dropped the call, VERY RUDE. We paid 1 hour for just waiting.
Bea CacanindinAfter reaching the location, loaded all my stuff and then realized that the rear shutter door was jammed and it was full of rust. Tried 15 minutes to close however no success. Called road side assistance, then after waiting for 45 minutes, one guy showed up and eventually got that fixed. I wasted more than an hour which ruined my rest of the day as I reached the location of return really late. I called the customer service to compensate something but I got an email saying I was charged 99$ on my credit card. Totally unsatisfied with the service.

Mario AlfaroAll you have is an online spot. This is not a U-Haul office in the traditional meaning. There is no person behind the desk. Everything is on-line. I don't have a data plan. Luckily the kind woman at Vaultra allowed me to use their wifi. It took a long time to recognize m the photos of my license. It was not obvious that there would be no secure upload. There was a dent and it said to put an x in disoute and upload a photo. The photo never uploaded. I finally drove off in teh truck because I couldn't wait for your stupid system. There is nothing wrong with Vaultra the problem is U, U-Haul.
Rosemary WarrenI was concerned that when I went to return my vehicle that there's no option to input that the vehicle has been returned other than putting the key in the drop box. Perhaps on the website there could be a section that you log in that the vehicle has been returned. That way it could open up that vehicle to be rented out to another person.

francoise BrownPlease change the name from "Vaultra Yorkdale" to just "Vaultra." I went to the wrong location at 3302 Dufferin Street, which is your "Yorkdale" location, which is where my GPS sent me. I thought the Fairbank Avenue was a mistake when I saw it, because that is not anywhere near Yorkdale, while the Dufferin location really is right next to Yorkdale. It was confusing, and it cost me a lot of lost time. Also, the lock was terrible. I was barely able to get it open after having to work very hard at it. I almost gave up on it and was lucky to get it open. Please get better locks. And when dropping off the van, please make clear on the screen by screen sequence that you put the bit about dropping the keys off in the red box at the end of doing all the steps, not at the start. That was confusing. I nearly dropped the keys off first, in which case I would not have been able to finish the process. Everything else was great. A very simple, seamless process using my phone, at a very nice location.
Edward KlajmanCab had not been cleaned from previous user. Back of truck was dirty. One tire had low air pressure. This would have been obvious to the staff member who checked prior to me renting the truck and chose not to do anything about it.

Katelyn McBaneThis is the second time that I can not pick up my reserved truck on time. It is 2 hours later than my schedule. Even though, this time I have to change my reserved one to a smaller truck. You need to double confirm with this location but not UHAUL about your reservation, otherwise, you can not do mobile pick-up. The phone number provided by uhaul of this location is wrong.
Zizhong ZhangThe .restriction on the number of photos of damage that can be uploaded is unacceptable. There were many small, and 4 major, areas of damage to the van, more than the app allowed me to properly document. If you are going to force the renter to use the app, rather than a joint inspection with a u-haul agent, to document preexisting damage, there must be NO limit on the documentation allowed by the app.

HIRUT MEZMURUpon arriving at the location, there was NO Uhaul signage. Drove around to the back of a storage building to find 3 lockboxes and a uhaul branded lockbox. Upon receiving the lockbox code (after filling in all the information on my phone for 15 minutes when I had selected a counter pick up (there was no indication of where the counter pick up was since THERE WAS NO UHAUL SIGNAGE ON THE WHOLE PROPERTY), I went to try the code and it did not open. I played around with the lock for 10 minutes. I think called uhaul. The first person to answer gave me "tips" on how to open the lock, none worked. She transferred me to someone else, they asked me the same questions and told me the same thing. I was then transferred to someone else. That person said they didn't know what other codes to try so I was transferred to a third person. The third person said they could find me a NEW LOCATION to rent something else. Which was not an option for me as I was now an hour behind moving and had to get to my scheduled elevator time. I was then transferred to someone else who I asked to issue me a full refund. They said uhaul couldn't issue a refund and that I would need to call the location directly. They gave me the number for the location which WAS NOT THE SAME NUMBER AS THE ONE PROVIDED ON MY RESERVATION FOR THAT LOCATION. Someone answer d and said they Wouk go out and try the lockbox BUT THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ISSUE A REFUNd. I was told I was given misinformation. She did manage to get the lockbox open and did say that this is something she has brought forward to uhaul's attention multiple times and you have not changed your locks. She was the only one that was helpful and competent. Spend over an hour to pick up the truck, spoke to 6 different customer service agents. Horrible horrible customer service. In total I was on hold for 45 minutes been transferred from person to person. Would never use uhaul again.
Brenda NickoloffI did order and pay for the furniture dolly however when I went into the vehicle it was the regular sized dolly that is smaller so that was disappointing. It made our trip take a bit longer because we didn't have the correct dolly and there wasn't anyone to speak with.

JOHN KEEGAN MCLE DEWITTI called in advance to know if I could use my International Driver's License, and I was told that YES. When I got there it took me almost 1h30 - 2h to figure out. I was also told that up to 24h it would be the same price. I was charged for 2 days periods even though keeping the car for less than 24h. Poor service, terrrible actually.
Gabriel NascimentoVery poor customer ervice effectiveness and quirky, buggy mobile app. When picking up, The app told me I had to speak to someone at the location and did not give me a code for the lock box. Of course there was no one to speak to at the location so I had to call customer service. The first agent said it didn't look like the key was there. Transferred me to another agent/department. The second agent basically said the same and was trying to locate someone at the site. Eventually transferred me to another support person who said the same thing. After 30 to 40 minutes on the phone I simply asked it we could try the lockboxes. I was given the code to the first box and what do you know -there was my key. When returning, the app tells you to drop the key in the orange box, then to press continue. Then proceeds to tell you to take a live pic of the odometer and gas level. Can't use stored image. How do you start the vehicle to take a live pic when it already told you to drop the keys? Good thing i still had the key. However, I tried to take a pic 20 times and the 'continue' button would never highlight to allow me to finish. Horrible app/uhaul experience

ROBERTD KLIGERMANThe U-Haul truck seems to have weak battery and had on a few of occasions had start up issues. Also the process of accessing roadside assistance seems cumbersome and there should be a dedicated hotline for the same only.

KAHON HALLThere was no washer fluid in the vehicle and two of the tires needed air. Daily checking would have spotted these issues I believe. Also the lock mechanism to retrieve the keys was incredibly difficult to open and there were no instructions on hand to help with that.
Susan L NeumanThe entire experience of renting the truck was poor, the only good thing about the location was the convenience of the location to us. We decided to do the truck share and use the app. It was not intuitive to use despite reading and watching videos. we didn't have the right link set up to proceed. My husband had to wait 90 min for a person to come and she was late to open the counter. He tried calling the customer service while waiting and did not get in touch with anyone the whole time while waiting. He requested a call back which was 20 min. When he was called back they answered only to put him on hold for the rest of the time. Because of the lost time, we requested to keep the truck later than the reservation time stated, the person at the counter did not help at all and told us we had to call. That call took an hour! I was on hold numerous times, passed to 3 different people, when they did answer was put on hold again. It was infuriating. The van however was good and worked well for the move and the first person I spoke to after a 23 min wait was very pleasant and tried to help. Despite the few positive aspects of the rental, I wouldn't rent from uhaul again.

George KuruvillaIt wasn't clear how to get the codes for the key to get the truck. I had to call and the woman said my verification wasn't complete but there was no indication of that had I not called. Other than that - it was a good experience.
Stacey RussellLock boxes are difficult to operate, was trying to open it for 15 minutes and could not so i had to go inside and ask for help, locks are too stiff to unlock. Luckily my pickup was during business hours so the woman inside was able to help but if the business was closed I would have been stranded with no van.
Aaron CabralAgatha, who was there at the location, was not kind, helpful, at all. We reserved our truck at 9am and were able to pick up 20 mins later. Agatha said, cancel if we dont like, it doesnt affect them. What a service!
Duksang JangI had consistent troubles with the U-Haul App. Clicking through the add-on options (specifically the 'no thank you' option) took a very very long time to progress to the next screen (often over a minute), further, the app wouldn't recognize that I was taking photos of myself/ my drivers licence/ the odometer and I was unable to complete either my pick-up or return through the app because of this.

Scott EdenThe physical location was ok but it being in a back isolated lot didn't make me feel comfortable/safe. It was raining when I picked up the vehicle so I had to do the pick up procedure in the rain - no shelter at all. The vehicle didn't look clean. It was dusty and had debris inside plus a used latex glove and a tissue. It was obvious no one cleaned it.

Vipul ShrivastavaNo digs at the location but renting from UHAUL is a hassle. I had difficulty entering the postal code when doing the online checkin. Three calls to the US customer service and the problem still couldnt be fixed. Lady at the rental location did fix it. But, then there was a hassle with disputing the invoice showing excess gas charges. Oh well...
RANDALLR KLEINI made the reservation for a location nearby my home and Uhaul transfered my pick up for this location almost 15 km from my home without further notice. I have just noticed that in my confirmation email one day before. This change made me to pay extra kms, despite being a 1 way trip with everything include, because Uhaul calculated the distance based on the location originally reserved. Lastly, problems with the app hold me for 1 hour during the pick up, outside at 10 F, that was awful, if it was not for self storage store nearby I would have a frostbite by now.

I LIVE IN A CONDO SO ELEVATOR BOOKING TIMES ARE PRE-ARRANGED AND I ALMOST HAD TO RE-SCHEDULE MY MOVE DATE; which would have been a tragedy if it was the last day of my lease.
SEOYOUN JOI asked for moving doly when I am booking online. Pick up day in the morning last minute I've got a text that they don't have it. If I didn't realized I was still getting charged for it. Before I return I filled up the tank but still charged for fuel. This is ridiculous. Never recommend it to anyone.
