The drop off compound was gated, no where to drop the vehicle in a secure location. When ai arrived yhere was already another truck parked outside the gate. I left there sick to my stomach, as I was concerned about the truck as there has been a lot of theft of vehicles and as well gas. The drop off box for keys is unmarked. No indication that this is where the ihaul keys need to be dropped. I already had to change my plans for this rental. It caused a ridiculous amount of stress for my family, and caused a tsunami of inconvenience. Had Uhaul of informed me that my original booking for 30 Set couldn't be fulfilled. Extra costs to me could of been avoided. Less than 24hours is not enough time to advise someone that their rental reservation is not confirmed. Even though it shows reserved on the website. I also returned my rental the same day. Under the granted mileage allocation. I'm dissapointed that I wasn't given an option to only rent for one day, or at least get some of the cost reduced for returning the equipment early. The $50 I was given for my initial reservation getting canceled is not even close to fair compensation. Overall I am extremely dissapointed with the overall experience. I will not be renting anything from Uhaul again.Marquis M.

The whole experience from pick up in Waterville Nb to the drop off in Vanderhoof Bc at Mini storage for uhaul was incredibly easy. Thankyou to John at Vanderhoof and Vern in Waterville Nb both were incredibly pleasant to deal with. Thankyou Uhaul for making this untimely move as nice as it was. God blessTim T.

From the driver's perspective, a qualified heavy goods vehicle mechanic, the ride was a great deal harsher than he would have hoped for. And because the vehicle size I booked, a 20 foot moving truck, was not available we were given and were obliged to use a 26 foot moving truck the cost of gas for this relatively local relocation was more expensive than it aught to have been. No brownie points on this job I'm sorry to say. Nevertheless I would still recommend U-Haul and this location to anyone who should ask.Timothy C.
Not have them lie about a drop off location that they made up because they couldn't find the drop off location I had indicated in Gravenhurst Ontario, to find out that when I dropped off at the location I had indicated, because they made up their own location drop off I was getting charged a wrong drop off fee of $400 At the drop off the girl contacted U-Haul to say what they did. The place was really dirty. Also as far as I am concerned another lie, I paid for a hitch I asked it to be a class 2, they told me it was, it is U-Haul hitch, U-Haul site says they only have class one? I got scammed if true that it is only a class one, I should get a refundjordyn G.

I have booked the truck on Feb 6, and on Feb 24 I got an SMS saying that the location changed to 1h:10m far from the original location in Fredericton. for that, I was forced to wait till one of my friends end his working day and company me to the location where I could bring the truck and he drive my car back to home. I paid 100$ for the truck oil and 40$ for my car. also, I have to book an extra day according to the change in the schedule. U-haul make my life very tough that day and complicate many things.Mohammad H.
Over charge, and took 300 unauthorized paument from my bank account after already paying 300 for the use of the truck and only stayed in the local surrounding areas. Charges me double the price of what I was supposed to pay. Dropped the truck off with the exact gas I left with, cleaned it out as asked. Bunch of cons! This is the Alwright court location in the heartland/ Waterville area. VERY DISPLEASED!! they doubled the miles that I actually used!!Katherine J.

We have tried for 3 weeks to get a trailer none around I would have to drive 200 miles to get one or cross the border into the states (closed) very poor selection of vehicles trailers in New Brunswick unacceptable we found someone with a trailer in town so we won't be needing your services anymoreRON H.
Gate locked to parking lot, as it was a weekend and store was closed; had to leave truck parked as close to gate as possible to ensure back of truck was off road. Also, on drop-off there should be a tag provided at pick-up to lock back door so nothing could be stolen from it, as the truck sat there for 2 days before the store was open to check.JIM F.

Vernon & Lori were great to work with at VLB. We did have an issue with the door pull-up wires and lost a day of being able to use it but we had a terrific service tech who fixed us up. (Alex). Very helpful, accepted unused U Haul boxes not required for packing for the move, who else would have done this Unit great shape Only issue for me was the drivers side mirror, is guess to adjust need a screw driver, tried to pull in a bit but came all way, only a 4 hour drive so I'm good Gold Starjim B.

The circumstances were a bit difficult at this location. When we arrived at around 10:45 pm on Dec 3 to leave truck we couldn't get in the yard. The driveway was blocked with trucks (the owners were having vandalism issues so used trucks to block off entrance). We had to leave truck and return next morning to fuel truck and return key. When we returned at 8:30 next morning, we quickly realized that the truck we had returned the previous night had been vandalized - holes drilled in gas tank and fuel stolen. The U-haul personnel were understandably upset but treated us professionally. The only thing that we would like to give feed back on is that when I arranged things at Carmen Avenue location I asked if there would be any fee charged when I returned truck in Hartland location. She told me that there would be no further cost and if there was it was not appropriate. However at Waterville drop off location we were told that we had to pay for going over calculated kms. It was not a large charge but we were disappointed as we only drove truck to pick up location, loaded truck, and drove to location in Woodstock to unload and then straight to U-haul location in Waterville. I think that the means for calculating km needs to give a bit of leaway - it isnt as simple as just saying it's so many kms from Fredericton to Waterville. A driver has to get to loading & unloading location as well.Tyler F.

The driveway was blocked by a uhaul truck so you had to park the truck on the street. The key drop wasn't clear that it was uhaul either so it wasn't a very comfortable drop off experience.RUSSELL JACKSON A.

Very friendly and willing to explain everything. Pick up and drop off a snap. Don't be in a rush as it takes a bit of time to go over paperwork and equipment but it's worth it. Can't beat price. Thanks.Peter C.

My biggest problem is I reserved a truck that is less than 1 km away from where I needed to pick up and drop off and had to go 120 km to go pick up a truck pay for the gas there and back which totalled $70 and take four hours of my time to pick up and delivery truck. I found it very unacceptable service and will look elsewhere to rent vehicles in the future.KRIS B.

Hello. The only thing I would change is have the moving van full of fuel for each new customer. Just makes it easier to tell the customer to bring the van back full of fuel instead of having to guess the amount at the pump. Other than that great.JOSH G.

We booked almost a month in advance and weren't told we'd have a truck until 3 days ahead, had to drive and HOUR AND A HALF to get the truck. No compensation. Treated poorly over the phone. I am a repeat customer and I was treated like crap this time around, and over charged. I wish you guys could do something about this, it has my wife and I just feeling completely defeated.
