First of all they lied to me and they took my money...I bought the U-Haul back on full and the man was acting like he was putting gas in the U-Haul..I left with giving him 100 dollars I come back he gives me 21 dollars when the U-Haul was just 19.95...and I just had to go to 15-501...I should take them to court for trying to get over on femalesSONYA S.

We were told by a customer service representative that we would be able to pick up a truck at a location that was 3 miles from us, and it was changed to a location that was roughly 35 miles from us last second. Then when we got to our destination, after going through heavy rain, the truck had leaked and got boxes in both the attic and the bed of the box truck had gotten wet. This has been by far the worse experience I have had with U-Haul.Tyler F.

The truck was not cleaned or sanitized. The truck NEEDS new wind shield wipers immediately! Driving in blinding rain in Louisiana with metal against the wind shield was very annoying. The truck also needs a wheel alignment.Lakeisha L.
Make sure that when you change pickup locations for the equipment that that the system is updated with the new information. In my situation, the pickup location was changed twice.I showed up to get my truck but the gps locator on my smart phone said I was at the wrong location;please go inside for help. Strong smell of cigarette smoke in the office, Uhaul agent was not wearing a mask. Return process was cumbersome, required photos of the mileage, gas and the truck itself at the return site. More than I could manage on my phone but a 20 $charge if it wasn't done.NICHOLAS C.
Opening the back of the truck all looks great and no odors. Walking inside to the front there's remnets of dog feces and a god awful odor. The smell was nauseating. You had to hold your breath in that area. I'm 30 miles away and not able to swap out the truck (if that was even an option and I don't think they had anything else available) so I had to deal with only a partial 15 footer because I couldn't utilize the whole bed of the truck which cost me more in mileage because I had to make many more trips. Wade's Texaco was sorry for my experience and compensated me on half the rental fee and lowered my mileage fee (cost per mile). I WILL continue to rent from this location. The truck was filthy and in bad shape. The window knob kept falling off, there was trash in the cabin, and the staff was quite rude. I am also sure that I was overcharged for my miles used. I will not be going back to this location.Alexandra G.

I was suppose to be credited for fuel and was not , picked the truck up on 1/4 and returned it on 1/4 and was charged for fuel and for the convenience of UHaul refueling . I was told you can return it back the way you recieved it . However Since it was not 1/8 of a tank I was charged extra. So a total of 34 $extra because I COULDVE put more is what the rep said !Nyche T.

The guy named Roger (or who wears a "Roger" shirt) who works here is extremely rude and unfriendly, and was pointedly not wearing a mask. His manner toward me and my mother was hostile as soon as we walked in -- I don't know what it was about us that he instantly disliked, but he made it very clear by his rudeness that we weren't welcome. Worse, he didn't even put on a mask when he had to come around the counter to stand close to me while I was signing papers. I had requested a no-contact check-in, but the online process didn't work, so I had to go inside and talk to Roger twice; even if the staff were properly masked and friendly, I would have been uncomfortable with the situation, not being fully vaccinated yet. I was double-masked, both for my safety and others'. It would be nice if the businesses I patronize were equally respectful. (Most of them are.) The guy who seems to be the owner was friendly, and the van I rented was good, but it's not worth the convenience (I live in the neighborhood) to deal with someone as rude as Roger. I made a point of returning the van after hours, more than a day ahead of schedule (losing money), so I could use the key drop rather than have to deal with Roger again. And really, the rudeness is bad enough -- for that reason alone I wouldn't rent here again -- but endangering customers' (and his coworkers') health by refusing to wear a mask is inexcusable. It's equally inexcusable that his supervisor doesn't insist that he observe local law, well-known safety standards, and basic human decency by putting on a mask.SARAH B.

The truck that was rented was not in good running condition. There was something wrong with the engine and we worried about making it back and forth without it breaking down. When we accepted the truck and drove off we had to call immediately to let them know something was mechanically wrong. There were no other trucks to trade out with, so we crossed our fingers and luckily completed the task. Thankfully it was local. The staff was friendly, but did not adhere to Covid standards and were not wearing masks.ADAM P.

This place stunk like an old cigarette, and the owner was not even attempting to wear a mask. Also, they neglected to adequately explain that they were going to double charge me for the rental (an extra 20 dollars) for using it from about 1230 until 10PM because they close at 5. Im sure they get people with these things constantly, and honestly, i wont be back. also my truck had a chip in the wind screen, and they didnt have the blankets that i asked for and charged me in full for them.JAMES D.
