Peter ManeggiaThe owner of Wadsworth Self Storage added the optional insurance onto my rental charges that I had declined when making my reservation online & that declined a second time (I signed a paper upon pick up verifying that I had declined it). When I dropped off my rental & asked her to remove it she tried ti tell me it was "mandatory" at her facility to have the insurance. Then when I challenged her on that remark & reminded her that it is an option/choice that was mine to make, not hers she sighed while showing her distaste for my rebuttal, then begrudgingly removed it after I ordered her on this issue that it was an option/choice for me to decide.

Jason LawtonWow, talk about a poor customer experience. I had a confirmed reservation eve and even called beforehand and the lady at the location left her job early. I arrived at 5:00 PM on Nov 3rd and the location was supposed to be open till 5:30 PM. I can't begin to tell you the inconvenience this caused me and the cost of an Uber the next day. When I arrived the next day, the office manager was now late to work and she knew I was coming as I spoke to her the night before. The windows had snow all over them that I had to remove. When I asked for a window scraper as I was tight on time, the office manager yelled at me. So, Net-Net, I'm not paying for the rental (per your guarantee) and U-Haul owes me for the Uber and my time. I'll call tomorrow to speak with customer service. PS. You need to spend your rep from the Wadsworth location to the U-Haul customer service school. Bruce Weiss

Ilya StetsovskyThis location was friendly, the truck was ready and in good shape. Unfortunately they had no handcart or blankets or anything else! We had requested them online. We never received any notification in advance that those extras were not available. That cost us a bunch of time and expense going to the store to buy them. Nice people, convenient location but poor supplies.
Robert BrodskyRented a cargo van for a delivery trip to Dillon. Approx 200+ miles round trip. Upon 20 minutes of driving the van to first location in Longmont, 3 out of 4 tires had sensors were going off. Once I arrived at my Longmont stop, Uhaul was contacted. The rep could not tell me when someone would arrive to fix the tires. Our responsibility to make our delivery on time prompted us to rent a second van. Uhaul sent someone to fix 2 of the 3 because the 3rd began to go off after the initial call was made. And upon returning the van the sensor went off again. Once the 3rd tire sensor began to fluctuate, this created the impression that the vehicle was not safe to drive the 200 miles that was needed. A Uhaul rep admitted via text that the sensors were malfunctioning on a regular basis. As a customer, how can we trust that other issues were not occurring in the vehicle. How could uhaul be so nonchalant about an obvious issue with their equipment. We were told to believe the uhaul rep over text that the vehicle was safe even after admitting continuous faulty equipment. We rented another uhaul (we had no other choice - 2nd van fine) and tried to get the first one picked up. We were told via text that even though our vehicle was having issues, we had to drive it. After refusing to drive the vehicle any due to the lack of safety in the equipment, we were threatened with a $1000 fine for abandonment even though we contacted them and was simply asking uhaul to pick up their faulty equipment. Today I was still charged for the original van even though I didn;t use it. I had to rent another uhaul to make the delivery in Dillon as scheduled. I returned today and returned both vehicle as I did not want to be fined. I do not feel i should be charged and will proceed with fighting this payment based on the admittance of uhaul that it was perfectly fine for a customer to assume liability for a motor vehicle that may or may not be working properly. It appears to be company policy not to take the customer's concerns into consideration when getting behind the wheel of a motor vehicle that is not performing at its best. If the 3 out of 4 tire sensors were malfunctioning how can we trust the vehicle. Were we supposed to take a chance and risk an accident because uhaul would not take responsibility for their own faulty equipment. I did not rent a vehicle with faulty equipment. I rented a vehicle that was supposed to drive me to my location 200 miles round trip and not have sensors go off for the tires or anything else. I would not recommend any company that places their equipment before the security of their customers. I would not recommend a company that refuses to see that a safety issue with even a small part of a vehicle is reflective of the entire vehicle. I would not recommend a company that openly admits that its is ok for a customer to drive a vehicle that may or not be sensing properly.

Jason RiveraThe truck mirror was so loosely fit, when we started on the highway the mirror went sideways and we drove the entire movement blind through the left mirror.. it is so scary, i am so disappointed the vehicle was soo poorly maintained... i will not recommend uhaul to my frnds
Arunkumar VijayakumarNo night drop off. Attendant would not let you in the building and demanded me to download the app. I've used uhaul at least 30 times and this was the worst experience I've ever had with the company. You should not allow this location to have your name on it.
Charles RankinEquipment was available on time, clean, and ready to go. However, without notification, the rental transaction was changed from face-to-face to over the internet. The new process was more cumbersome, but not unreasonably so (a smart phone is REQUIRED for this over the internet process). My main complaint was that no one called/e-mailed/texted to let me know about the new process. Someone should have reached out to me to let me know there would be a change in the process.

It defeats the purpose of a contactless rental. The website wasn't working when i returned it either but finally completed the return after trying for 20 minutes.

All instructions were clear, simple, and well stated by the representative. Drop off was just as quick. Dropped my keys in and I was off. The representative was knowledgeable and so friendly. Also, the van was in great shape and very very clean.

Katherine ByrneExcellence customer service. The van we rented was exactly what we needed. It was clean, gassed up and ready to go when we arrived. This location was farther from Boulder than we planned, but I would rent from them again whenever we move. I highly recommend renting from here!

Justin RaffI am so dissatisfied with UHaul. I have been waiting for a resolution to my dispute. I was overcharged, had to go over 20 miles out of my way to pick up a van when there were 2 available in my home area (within 3 miles) - and I was treated like CRAP by customer service both in person and over the phone. WORST experience I have had in 2018!!
