Pick up went well except for not being able to purchase boxes due to a cash register issue and couldn't tell me total gas tank capacity. Equipment was very clean and functioned well. Hard to put in right amount of fuel because of unknown capacity. Drop off again problems with computer system. At least they called U-Haul for assistance after I had to ask for it. The truck could of used a cleaning from before my use... the unit 1205 or 1203 that I used, the 15ft. Could use a diagnosis as it was idling rough. When I was asked if the unit is clean enough for the next family, I said no as it was previously dirty on the online return process I seen I'd be charged when I did not make any mess, 25 $charge?!? Opened an hour late causing me to be an hour and a half late to meet my movers. I still had to pay the full price for the movers. Didn't even get an apology, and staff didn't even acknowledge that they opened late.Krystle M.

I checked in with the location on Friday ( 2 days before my booking) and was informed everything was confirmed. I booked my order over a week in advance and requested different dollies for my move. however upon arrival to pick up the equipment the attendant said the dollies I requested were not available at this location. I was not informed of the lack of equipment until I was at the counter waiting to pick them up. I think it's poor customer service to allow clients to book online what they need, and not followup to ensure the proper equipment will be ready, especially when the customer makes the extra effort to check in regarding this 2 days before the move.Ron B.

In the morning I was charged for moving pads, but never given them. When I returned the truck it took at least 20 minutes for the employee to figure out how to reverse the charge. Other than that the service was good.Varindur R.
I had made a reservation for a 15' truck a month in advance I was not called by uhaul to confirm my reservation until over 3 weeks later to only be told the location I selected was not available and I could not rent the truck for 24 hrs as requested. This was unacceptable to of waited this long for a reservation confirmation especially to tell me I could not have my reservation as planned plus I reserved 2 Dollys 1 Furniture and 1 regular dolly On the day of the reservation they did not have a furniture dolly for me. I will never use Uhaul again I was treated disrespectfully and I will not recommend themChandra H.

When we picked up truck the unit was not cleaned at all. Due to the COVID situation I really believe that it should be wiped down and sprayed with sanitizer. I took Lysol wipes and everything was black. The location was advices once we returned it. Other then that we are always pleased with service and equipment.Shelly K.

I should have checked before leaving but the dolly and blankets were not in the Van I rented. I called to inform the rental location as soon as we arrived at the moving site and told them that someone will be heading back to pick them up and that I had no intention of paying for them. The person I spoke with apologized and agreed but was charged anyway. Very poor customer service.David S.
I rented a 10' truck to move Edmonton to Calgary. The representative at this location was fine but the computer would not generate a Calgary location for drop-off only one in Airdrie, Balsac, or Langdon AB. Crazy!!! I had to call customer service and wait on hold for 1/2 hr+ both when picking up truck and when I arrived in Calgary in order to receive a Calgary location for drop off.Debra Lynn F.
when i called and i made the reservation, i got a quote for 254$ olus taxes, after speaking with shayla from call center, and thats including truck and and trailer ( auto transport) for the day..... i showed up at the location in the morning, the lady said the truck solely is 299$, i was in a rush and i didnt wanna argue, so gave her my info, and before i left, i specifically asked her, does the truck have the hitch and the receiver, she said it has the hitch, but the receiver will provided at the location you pick up the trailer from.... got to the other licwtion to pick up the traiker, the guy was trying to charge me another 54$ for the trailer, same disnt wanna argue bcz i needed to take off for my trip, i was already an hour late.... the guy came outside to hook up the trailer, and he was surpirsed there was no receiver on the truck, and he was telling that the first location should've provided it... tried to call the call center to complain and figure out, i was waiting 20 mn on the line, and nobody even answered... so i had to pay an extra 41,99$ for a receiver i will never use in my life.... terrible experience, i would definitely think 10 times before i use uhaul again, such a waste of time for no reason, or lack of comunication btw call center and the actual store....Mohamad N.

This is not a reflection of the location or service, but a problem with Uhaul itself. I reserved equipment from Uhaul mkre than 3 weeks in advance. The vehicle had to picked up at another location far from the one I selected, and the trailer was on the opposite side of the city. I am unimpressed by Uhaul over this. There was a lack of notes in the system regarding a change made to equipment as well. It made for a frustrating experience.James D.

Just dont go to the valleyview location period! The drop off was profession, friendly, clean, they were super quick and I will go back there as they have a beautiful car wash right by our new home.Charlene L.
Uhaul in general is an average experience. Nickel and dime yah on everything. Mileage, coverage, rental, insurance, supplies... But can't even drop off at a different location so you are stuck making rounds trips unnecessarily. Always reschedule your pick up locations too so end up driving twice as far. Didn't even bother to gas up the truck so we were on the click and filling the tank. Not convenient at all.Thomas S.

Car hauler was full of ice and snow, when I picked it up at the WASH FACTORY. So when I dropped it off in Drumheller I left it snow and ice covered. Then you after hours drop off is a pain in the ass. I do not feel that Ishould be charged the extra days charge due to this . Plus this clown in Drumheller did not open until at least 12 noon on Monday when I dropped trailer off.Christopher N.

Customers should be told that the trucks are not available at any given location. No truck was available at the location where I did the reservation. Upon calling them and discovering this, I had to phone customer service who directed me to a second location. When I arrived there, I discovered the truck had a flat tire. Back to customer service who directed me to a third location (Wash Factory) where I finally got a truck. This location was 45 minutes away. It took 2 -3 hours to the truck. Hardly amazing service. U-Haul should be verifying the truck availability prior to the reservation date / time and dealing with exceptions BEFORE the pickup time - not after. I have rated the location well because the representative was both helpful and efficient.William L.
The location was good, but the whole experience was horrible!! We had a pick up time of 9am and didn't get on the road until 10:45!! Uhaul systems were not working properly. Because of this we were over an hour late getting on the road to Lloydminster which is a 2,5 hr drive. Because of the delay the helper I had couldn't help me move my furniture causing my 6 month pregnant girlfriend to have to help! NOT IMPRESSED!! Our coach is very heavy and she should not have been moving anything! And has had pains in her stomach since! Also when I called to book the truck I was told there was no 10' trucks in Lloydminster, so we had to drive 2,5 hours to Edmonton and get a truck and come back! This costed 80$ in gas fees for the truck and 60$ for my own vehicle. I was told when I booked the truck I would NOT be charged for the Kilometres because of the inconvenience. When I dropped off the truck they charged me 70,85$. So now ive paid 210$ more than I would have paid if the truck was available in Lloydminster! Not impressed at all with this whole situation. I have a baby on the way so every cent counts! When I move again in the near future I'm strongly considering not using uhaul.kyle B.

Your new app and online vehicle check in is cumbersome and more work/time than checking in person. To make matters worse, the staff at this location do not understand that there is an app and online process and ask for your drivers license etc all over again. Poor training and familiarity of U-Haul process.Lonny H.

As I wrote on receipt at store, the ratchets on the dolly are rusted garbage and are completely unsafe, they didn't function at all until I oiled them, I had to purchase straps to secure vehicle to dolly, I told attendant and he did not come outside to look at the dolly, I bet if I went to rent it right now I could even though I told him they were/are unsafe, Eric KeatsEric K.

Very unprofessional employees, seemed like they only wanted to point out what was wrong with the vehicle, after already knowing that there were faults with the vehicle previously. He charged me for rock chips which were already there before and looked as if they were filled in already. Seems like he does this to everyone as he said rock chips before even seeing the truck. Then at the end gave me a 20 % discount as if that would help the lie he was telling. Seems like a dishonest con-man. Charged me 126 $in the end for rock chips in the mirror, I can personally get a brand new windshield installed for 250 $. Was just ridiculous.tardeep D.

The tires on the trailer were quite worn. You can see the threads. We required an adapter(Which we had to buy) for the old four prong system on the trailer which is the very outdated trailer connection.logan R.

This location was just fine....... its uhaul customer service that is lacking .... and the fact that I was told I can drop off the truck at any location wasn't factual...and two locations that were suppose to be open for drop off were not causing me to waste gas finding an open location and uhaul made me pay for THEIR mistake..... Next time I'll just use another company and I definitely wont be recommending uhaul to anyone in the futureBrendan E.
